The Mohler House is a restored 1700 stone home in a serene setting. Most everything in the home is period with enough modern touches to make for a comfortable stay. Bring your clay pipe if you have one. Sitting on the porch with a dash of rain made for a special evening. So enjoyable was this visit!!

Celebrated new year’s and husband’s birthday with kids and grandkids. Loved the history of the home and the way it felt like a step back in time with modern amenities. Did not care for the fact that it is surrounded by homes. Definitely wanted to feel more isolated but it did not interfere with our enjoyment of the home and back property. Proprietor was quick to reply. Would recommend and would stay again!!

A beautifully restored antique home with plenty of beds and rooms for our group of 5 sisters. We shopped and visited the Ephrata Cloister, which was so interesting. House was very well equipped and a dozen fresh eggs were waiting for us.

The 1764 Mohler house and surrounding property are absolutely breathtaking! The interior is clean and extremely cozy. My daughter loved all of the toys and exploring the creek and wooded areas. We can’t wait to return!

A wonderful experience. The home and property is worth staying. A great historical building with very well integrated modern conveniences.
Anne was very prompt to respond to a few of our questions.

Great Place to get away. My group of 5 friends really enjoyed the proximity to Hershey and Lancaster. As for the property, the mix of historical architecture and modern convenience was enjoyed by all. The various outdoor set ups and amount of space outside were the highlight. Many hours around the fire pit during our wonderfully relaxing long weekend together. The property came stocked with everything we could have needed and then some, including farm fresh eggs in the fridge!! Easy check in, easy check out and great timely communication the whole time. Couldn't be happier.

We loved our stay! The house was exactly what we were looking for! There’s plenty of room for everyone and we enjoyed the farm fresh eggs left for us. We were able to take in the Green Dragon market and it was amazing! We enjoyed the location, the home itself (so gorgeous !) and Anne was very helpful! We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

I can not say enough good things about this property and it's host. Communication was great any questions I has had a quick response. The host thought of just about anything you might need even lighter, paper, kindling and wood to enjoy sitting around a wonderfully placed fire pit with comfortable chairs , such a good time. The house is a pice of history. It's like stepping back in time with all the modern conveniences. We were all very comfortable, the beds were great the ac was nice and having 4 bathrooms with a big group was a blessing. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning and on the patio in front of the house both very nice setting. My family played Frisby and tag in the large lawn that is well kept. The natural spring that runs along the back of the house was fun to explore. We also enjoyed meals together at a grand table that had room for everyone. This location was good to get to town only 5 minutes away and the green dragon market was so fun. You can walk there from the property if you wanted to. Lancaster was just a short drive. We also visited Hershey Park was about 40 minutes away. Such a wonderful visit. Thank you Anne!! We plan to stay again for sure.

What a unique place to stay!
What a unique place to stay! The history of the place is intriguing…. the wide plank floors, the hardware on the doors, down to the wooden spouting on the outside, all make for a very interesting experience! Very clean, and loved finding farm fresh eggs in the frig on our arrival!
However, our stay was cut short to unforeseen circumstances…Anne was really understanding and so gracious, and worked very willingly on accommodating us having to leave sooner than we thought! We appreciated it so much!

This property looked amazing but it was even better in person. The owner thought of everything. Inside was beautiful and comfortable. We also had perfect weather to enjoy the porch, the yard, and the fire pit. The owner was responsive and kind. We would go back again in a heartbeat. We met family from Pittsburgh. We drove in from NYC. It was an easy drive for both families. Can’t wait to do it again.

We were here for three days and two nights in this three bedroom, three and half baths, and lots of rooms to get lost in. Our daughter enjoyed their children's room, books, toys, and their bunkbed. My whole family loved the whole place from the atmosphere, the firepit, and wildlife {deer, bats, birds, squirrels, and nature all over}! It was so beautiful at night to see so many stars and just enjoying being outside with some horse galloping here and there.
We were here June 10-12, 2022. Hopefully one day, we'll come back! Until next time...
Have a blessed day!
