well located - easy to access Bakewell and Monsal Trail. Good facilities in the cottage, but needed a really good clean in my opinion. It was OK but not spotless. There should have been a vacuum cleaner so we could keep on top of things during our stay. Outside space at front was lovely, but the area at the back door with seats etc was in need of a good brush - cobwebs everywhere. Loved the fact that the TV had so many streaming services accessible, and all the bathrooms.
As above re cleanliness. Windows needed cleaning also. Carpet a bit grubby. Don't want to give the impression we didn't like it, just needs a bit more "Sparkle"

The location is excellent - just on the outside Bakewell centre and an easy walk into town. Having 3 bathrooms was a real bonus for our party and the bedrooms were all of a decent size. The apartment was clean, well-furnished and comfortable.
The WiFi coverage was poor - none in the main bedroom - and the performance was patchy. The shower in the main bedroom ensuite was small and the water flow not great. The kitchen was OK but not really well enough equipped to do serious cooking. This is a home that is set up to be a holiday rental and has never been lived in.
