Escape to this quiet retreat in Alpena, MI, and immerse yourself in the Pure Michigan spirit. Our home is located in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood just a few blocks from Lake Huron's sandy shores and a short walk to downtown Alpena's shopping and restaurants.

This bright and airy home is newly renovated, featuring a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen. On the main level, you'll find a bathroom and a bedroom with a queen bed and desk space. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one with a full-sized bed and the other with a queen bed and two twins. There's also a fun kids' nook with books and board games.

Please note that the ceiling at the top of the stairs and throughout the upstairs area can be low and at different angles—reminder signs are posted.

During the summer months, the home provides cooling with small window units in the upstairs queen+twins bedroom and the kitchen. The backyard is fully fenced, perfect for children to play, and smoking is not allowed on the premises. Linens and towels are provided for your convenience.

Guests can enjoy amenities such as free high-speed internet with Wi-Fi, four Roku smart TVs, and USB-equipped table lamps in all bedrooms and the living room. The Roku smart TVs have streaming apps for your personal accounts; cable service is not included.

For security, the home features a keypad lock for self-check-in. Guests receive a code prior to arrival, which is regularly changed. You'll have access to the entire home, including front and back decks, driveway, and the backyard with a large picnic table—make yourself at home!

We live nearby and are readily available to assist during your stay. Our quick response to messages ensures a wonderful experience, as noted by recent guests: "The communication is top-notch—it was a wonderful stay!"

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, our home offers proximity to the Alpena mapped Bi-Path, perfect for biking, running, and walking along the river. Nearby parks with playgrounds and sandy beaches (1 mile away) with seasonal restroom and shower facilities, plus a new summer splash pad, provide outdoor enjoyment.

Bring your bikes to explore the area easily. The downtown area with its great restaurants and shopping is also just a short walk or bike ride away.
Guests must immediately alert host to any issues regarding maintenance, request for repair service, or otherwise. Host will not compensate or refund for any issues reported after check out. Guest must also allow host and/or repairman/technician access to the property to remedy the issue after host has been notified. If guest stays after issue is remedied or addressed, there will be no further remuneration or refund. If guest is unresponsive, host will assume issue is remedied, and there will be no further action required.
