The property was spectacular! It was magnificently decorated in original furnishings, which made the stay exquisite. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the dogs were very cute/

This is a stunning historic property that has recently been turned into a bed and breakfast. It was extraordinary to both sleep and dine in such opulent surroundings and to chat with the owners, who can trace their family line back for generations. The Cherubini family is gracious and extremely welcoming. And yes, some famous people have stayed here, but it’s a property that turns anyone into a celebrity for a few days.
Navigating the narrow and winding streets of Rossano in an Audi A6 to find the location of the palace was a real test for me. Amy was kind enough to hop in her car, locate us in the town and guide us in through the gates.

An absolute gem of a hotel. The decor is breathtaking and beautifully kept from the bedrooms, to the magnificent dining room and lounge, to the outdoor swimming pool and indoor spa. The superb air conditioning system was especially welcome during a very hot period. Breakfast was very special - fruit, homemade cakes and cornetti, and wonderful coffee. Nicola and Gina the owners are fabulous hosts and a special mention to Julio who helped to make our stay so memorable. Rossano is a beautiful place to visit with very good restaurants in easy walking distance. We hope to return again soon.
Absolutely nothing to dislike.

This is a special place to stay. The palazzo is beautifully and stylishly decorated by the couple that own and run it. Our stay was one of the most memorable experiences of our 3 weeks touring in Southern Italy. The breakfast and coffee are excellent. The host offered to make dinner, but we opted to walk into town to a restaurant. We were given a tour of the palazzo including the accommodation rooms and salons. Spend the extra to stay in the suite located on the upper level which is palatial and has sweeping views over the town of Rossaro from its outdoor terrace and spa pool. There are 2 pools, one outside in a courtyard and the other is inside underground with a spa, which is quite unique. Every detail, including toiletries, were of high quality. We were spending the night on the way to Puglia. The accommodation and town are charming and well worth the small diversion to stay here. Wish we stayed 3 or more nights. Some good restaurants in town within walking distance. Remember to dress in your best, as this palazzo deserves it! Their employee Julio spoke good English, as we can't speak Italian. Highly recommend.
Somewhat challenging drive to the property through the town, but well rewarded.
