Outside, a small, enclosed courtyard provides peace and quiet to enjoy a morning coffee with sunshine and sea air.

Pouring down when we arrived but warm and welcoming inside. Tastefully decorated and well equipped but no shops in the village so take essentials with you.
Ideally situated for the estuary and railway station to travel to either Carmarthen or Tenby.
Lovely beaches in Llansteffan and Burry Port with Kidwelly all within easy reach.

Great little place opposite the local
Pub . Nice walks along Stoney beach and up into village . Close to train station also which can be handy .

The cottage was just as advertised and had absolutely everything we needed.
Jon had provided tea, coffee and gluten free cookies and lactose free milk specifically for my diet, so thoughtful.
The cottage is small but was the right size for us and the bed was very comfortable as was having a luxurious bath in the evening.
We loved the way the place was decorated with quirky lights, ornaments and lovely colours.
Everyone we bumped into was friendly nd welcoming and for the weekend we went into Carmarthen, Tenby and Kidwelly.
It was just exactly what we needed for our weekend visiting family.

Well appointed, cosy.

Lovely dog friendly cottage in a perfect location for us, just a minute's walk to the beach. Jon was the perfect host and his communication was excellent with us throughout the booking process, especially when we had to rebook due to flooding in the village. The cottage is pretty and well equipped and the log burner was a welcome addition at the end of a busy day. Traeth coffee shop next to the train station was dog friendly and welcoming. The only negative which is nothing to do with the cottage is that the village currently has no shop so for even a pint of milk you need to drive 10mins to the nearest convenience store. Pembrey Country park and the beach there was fabulous, there are many walks very close to Ferryside and we were lucky enough to have lovely weather to explore. :)

The house was so clean and tidy, it was really close to the beach, we had everything we needed and there was a guide on things to do and where to eat.
It was truly amazing.

The property was clean, bright and fresh. It was very comfortable and we felt immediately at home. Everything was in excellent condition. There was a lovely welcome pack for us and clear instructions as to how everything worked. We loved exploring this beautiful part of Wales and were grateful for information on local walks.

This was an immaculate and beautifully finished property which was a few strides from the sea. The parking was excellent anf the cottage itself has everything we needed. We hope to visit again as it's absolutely perfect.

Lovely stay property had everything we needed to cook our dinner. Secluded location nearest village where we bought our groceries in around 15 mins drive away. Little beach few mins walk away so peaceful we had it all to ourselves in the morning and in evening. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent accommodation. Well equipped and bathroom had shower gel etc., not expected that!
Washing machine handy.
Tiny area to sit at the back, however, it did get the sun for a good part of the day.
Location to beach excellent.
The furnishings were if a good standard. Maybe some higher back chairs for neck and back support.
The White Lion is a lovely pub and very welcoming to us. Also very clean.

This cottage is small and perfectly formed! Tasteful and stylish decor, warm and cosy, everything you need for a comfortable stay. We found Jon to be very quick at responding, and he happily went the extra mile to help us organise our stay. We would definitely return, should we be in the area again. 5 stars!

We had the best wee trip to Ferryside, a beautiful wee cottage located in a great place just next to the beach and only half an hour away from large shopping centres so close to all you'd need but far enough away that you have the perfect quiet relaxed getaway - would 100% come back and stay here.

Tiny but everything you needed was there.

Bwthyn Bach is a hidden gem in the extremely friendly village of Ferryside
Just a step away from the estuary shoreline - a great space for dog walking. The cottage caters for every need and is furnished to a very high specification. Great base for exploring the Welsh coastal path and the beautiful Llansteffan beach is a ferry ride away. I was travelling on my own but was made to feel very welcome with the locals! Owner Jon was extremely helpful which made the booking experience very easy. Will be returning!
