The house and area was wonderful. Martha was very responsive and helpful along the way. There is a firepit and charcoal grill, but make sure to bring your own supplies if you want to use it.

Nestled on the prettiest Main Street and in the heart of the Finger Lakes, this Victorian Beauty has everything you need for a wonderful getaway! The location between Keuka and Seneca Lake was ideal for us because we wanted to do both wine trails and water sports. The home has a well equipped kitchen, amazing backyard complete with a superb hot tub and firepit, and 5 beautifully decorated bedrooms. The small details like the teacup and book on the bed did not go unnoticed. The house is filled with character and charm. The beds were very comfortable. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the house and the area. The owner/host was excellent with communication and check in and check out went smoothly. We would love to stay here again upon returning to the Finger Lakes.

House was so pretty and very big. Pretty much everything was included and we loved it. The host was responsive and very understanding of us having a large group and the weather being so so hot out.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and feels very private. The only complaint I have was the owner stated one of the clips on the hot tub was broken and I would be charged $100. I secured them myself and they were in working order. When I disagreed he pretty much called me a liar. I had to tell him twice not to contact me before he stopped. The hot tub is in area where anyone from the neighborhood can walk on the property. I would suggest taking pics before you leave so it doesnt happen to you. Otherwise our stay was enjoyable

We were very happy with the location and the house. Every convenience possible, but also a top tier hot tub in perfect condition as well as a perfect outdoor grill. Very pretty and quiet location as well. One guest was dependent on a cane for most of the time, but could manage the gentle slope of the lawn and soft turf. Just perfect.

This very large Victorian house was charming and well located between Seneca Lake and Keuka Lake. It had five good sized bedrooms. The bed in our room was comfortable, although all of them were VERY high off the ground! The house was very clean. It had two full baths, but the one bath was off of the kitchen and had a tub with a handheld spray faucet but not a shower. Another full bath would have been helpful. I reached out to the host the day before we got there to find out how I would get the code to the door. He said he would text it to me at 4:00. 4:00 came and went and nothing. At 5:30 I reached out to VRBO. Eventually they got the host on the phone who said it was emailed to me. I didn't get it. I had to ask for them to give it to me verbally - they wanted to send it again. Well if I didn't get it the first time, why would I risk not getting it the second time. And if you are going to email it, don't tell me you are texting it. The host responded to me leading up to my stay most, but not all, of the time. I saw the other negative comments regarding the host, so I was somewhat prepared. Even with the check in aggravation, the house was worth it.

My family stayed for the weekend for a wine tour, the place is a great location, and large enough for ten people to stay comfortably. We really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was an added bonus!

Charming and large house for six girls. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after biking the Keuka Trail. Wineries, Rail Riders, shops and restaurants all close by. A great place to stay.

Great property! Pat the local manager did not txt the passcode at 4:00. Had to call him several times to get an answer. Great place, need to have a more responsive point of contact for this amount $$ per night.

The only good thing about this rental is the location. Check in was for 4 PM didn’t receive the door code until 5:24 PM. Initially the house seemed okay but we quickly noticed that it was very dirty and much of it is in disrepair. During our first night at the residence we found the bed we where attempting to sleep in to be uncomfortable requiring us to switch rooms. We found all of the beds be incredibly high off the ground and unbearably firm and uncomfortable.
The upstairs bathroom has peel and stick flooring with small pieces peeling up that are sharp; the shower does not completely drain when using it either. The back patio includes many broken pieces that are hidden by a large rug, heavy planter, and strategically placed furniture.
After checking out Mr. H reached out to us for what I thought was going to be about curtains were damaged and left folded on the kitchen table. He started a conversation by commenting on how many towels we used and asking about “weird stains” that were on the towel. Making me feel both uncomfortable and grossed out. He relayed to me a lie for which his cleaning lady found a curtain from the dining room was laying on the floor ripped to shreds which I know to be untrue since it was hanging appearing unharmed prior to us leaving. Considering we spent no time in this room I spent zero seconds looking at or inspecting those curtains. However, I wanting to remain courteous and kind I offered to pay for that damaged curtain panel. Finally we got to the subject to which I anticipated the whole conversation to be about. My husband thought mistakenly thought he had grabbed the damaged curtains from the front door curtains; which we later discovered to not be true. When telling Mr. H I in fact did not have the curtains he became aggressive and intimidating. He continued to ask for the curtains even though I had told him they were damaged and had already offered to pay for them. He later went on to say the curtains had sentimental and historical value for a while folding them I noticed it was one curtain cut into two that was stiff with dirt and grime. The curtain was nothing more special than something that could be found and thought at Walmart or Amazon. I believe him placing this “historical” value was just an attempt to keep almost if not all of the security deposit.
We found multiple strange bugs in the house including odd Beatles after getting home and finding strange bug bites in us. I’m hopeful weren’t bedbugs.

“It’s a Wonderful Life” was an equally wonderful experience. Felt like home away from home. Every detail was attended to and it looked exactly like the promotional pictures right down to the table settings and bedroom ensembles. Such lovely touches of grace with appealing books placed throughout the house and delightful tea cups and books on the beds. Couldn’t have been more comfortable if we tried. I’ll certainly be back. ❤️

Short stop in Penn Yan
An older house with many updates. The mattresses were wonderful and are probably new. The house is an easy walking distance to the downtown Penn Yan shops and restaurants. Easy communication with the owner.
