The building has been sympathetically restored to highlight its historic architecture whilst providing a modern and comfortable feel. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable.
Unfortunately I stayed on one of the nights when the restaurant was closed, and there was no evening meal or cooked breakfast available. I was informed of this when I booked, so it was not a
problem. The hotel provided a continental breakfast which was perfectly fine.

Restaurant was closed upon arrival - wasn’t made aware prior.
All toiletry boxes - were empty. Nothing refilled.
Milk was out of date in the fridge.

Just perfect for a country House hotel. The gardens, the view, the decor is just everything you'd hope to find. Old style relaxed, tasteful and luxurious. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. All the staff looked after us so well.
Nothing at all.

History and relaxing surroundings and staff were excellent especially the south African gentleman in the bar area who had a full knowledge and history of the building and management.

Beautifully restored hotel, some work still in progress.
Bed and furnishings very luxurious
A treat to have a sofa in the room so I didn’t have to sit on the bed!
Breakfast was lovely.
Th3 two members of staff I met were wonderful.
There was a constant buzz in my room overnight from a source I couldn't identify.
The night I stayed the bar and restaurant were both shut

Overall experience was very good . We thought the attention to detail like the little extras made a big impression. Well done to the owners who have done a fantastic job and this is an excellent example to other hoteliers how to do things just right. The roast dinner was very good . Can’t really say anything bad but just good things. The staff very friendly and welcoming , restaurant just as good.
We would definitely be going back and enjoyed every minute.
Loved it all , no dislikes.

The hotel, grounds and room were excellent. They were clean, comfortable, spacious and very tastefully decorated. The decor enhanced the style of the property.

The lavish grounds & decor was impressive
Lack of staff( we saw Elliot for 5mins) no one else two days.. didn’t feel welcome as no one was there to speak to or ask questions to.
No hot meals breakfast lunch or dinner on either days
We had to source food after a long drive then arriving at 7pm
Meagre mini bar - one water one Prosecco for two people. The kettle isn’t very safe to have to un plug whilst full of boiling water to take to the table to fill the cups.. milk decanted from one bottle to another which went off on our second day.

Nothing.
Whilst the room was lovely we had the constant loud drone of the old cellar chiller below our window. Ironic as the bar and restaurant were closed. We asked if there was anything that could be done? We were told no. I said how can you charge £132.00 a night and have to listen to that noise all night. I also said they would be hearing about this! (via Booking.Com)
We went back to our room only for there to be a knock on the door where the owner said we had 15mins to pack up and leave and we would get e full refund! So we did!

The breakfast was very good
Could've done with a round of toast and jam/marmalade with the breakfast
4.5
Beautiful building, lovely room, friendly, welcoming staff, great food
The only slightly disappointing thing about the hotel was the loud noise from the kitchen extractor flue which was outside our room and could be heard whilst enjoying a drink on the terrace in the evening. However after asking if the noise would go on all night we were told that it would stop around 21:00 which it did.

I came for weekend wedding Breakfast and dinner here is A class ! The quality of the food really comes through and I was satisfied with my food choices each time I dined.
Very professional staff and made to feel comfortable throughout my stay by those there. You can never go wrong with good customer service and manners.
I stayed in the coach house which is on the grounds but adjacent to the hotel itself. Lovely place however on check-in I found there was lots of dust in areas that shouldn't have been which caused allergies to flairs up. There seemed to be a damp issue with the wall as the paint had changed colourant started cracking.

Very comfortable room. Very clean and spacious with all the mode cons. A complimentary treat in the fridge. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
It was a little noisy next to the road as there is is no double window. We were also looking forward to eating a dinner there but the restaurant was closed.

Very comfortable stay and lovely staff.
Shame the restaurant wasn’t open.

Worlington Hall is a beautiful period property which has been. Lovingly restored. Set in fabulous grounds with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff I would strongly recommend. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous.
It would be nice if the window in the bedroom could open .

Unfortunately, there was a wedding at the hotel I hadn't been made aware of, I mentioned to the staff what time does the music stopped and was told 11pm by the manager Steve, who was very good and made our stay very welcoming.
No notice about events during our stay.

Breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. My gluten free requirement was met smoothly

Location fabulous
It was advertised on booking.com as having very good breakfast! Unfortunately they don’t serve full breakfast on Mondays & Tuesdays! The continental offered was very below average, restaurant not staffed, self service, no pastries, no fresh fruit, no cheeses or cold meats and yoghurts & fruit juices were warm as not stored on ice or refrigerated

The hall is fantastic. Loads of character and very clean. We needed to call on the customer service of this hotel and it was exceptional. They bent over backwards to accommodate us and we’d certainly stay here again
My only 2 quibbles are that the pillows are very tall so I couldn’t use them as it hurt my neck. Some thinner ones as an option would have been perfect (unless I missed this option but wasn’t any in the room)
And the shower could do with a small shelf to put shower gel and shampoo on.
Both minor points though
4.5
The grounds are beautiful, staff were attentive and very polite, evening meal and breakfast top quality
Some of the lights in the George room didn't work or flashed, there seemed to be a shortage of main towels

The hotel is in beautiful grounds with lovely surroundings. All staff were very welcoming and friendly as soon as we arrived. They managed to fit us into the restaurant for a meal, even though it was busy, and the food was delicious. The hotel has been decorated really nicely. I really liked the little touch of having some games on every table in the bar. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and would stay again. Thank you we had a really lovely stay.

Very well presented room, incredible comfy bed and had a feel of luxury to it.
The check in desk wasn't manned continuously, there's two numbers to call but no answer so it took me 10 minutes which was a little frustrating after a 6 hour drive.
