We spent a nice long weekend at the cottage. The owner had thought of everything we could have needed and to make us feel at home. We loved how close we we to Blackwater Falls State Park.

We enjoyed our stay in West Virginia. Convenient location really close to Blackwater Falls state park.

Great place convenient to Canaan Valley and Timberline resorts. Right off the highway and a 15 minute drive to the slopes. The owner was super helpful and very communicative!

Overall enjoy stayed. Very cute cabin with an amazing location. Loved all the signs about how to use things and how to leave it at the end of the stay. Can tell the owner takes pride in this place. Only issue was couldn’t get the heater in the back room to work second night but I never contacted the property manager about it so could definitely had been user error.

We had a wonderful trip. The condo was as just perfect for us. It was very comfortable and near everything we needed. Thank you Bridget we will be back.

Very nice property and accommodations for small family or couple. Not recommended for people that cannot climb up tight staircase. Good amenities.

When we were looking for a cabin. we thought de tached. this is more like a condo. there are 30 condos in this area. it backs up to an RV park. the condo is small and cute. It was o.k. for our one. night stay. the bed was comfortable. my next time in west va. id love to find a cabin/house with a view.

Great night at a nice property prior to heading out hiking for a few days. Property was well maintained, communication was excellent despite some issues with the app. Would highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin/condo about a mile from Blackwater Falls State Park. It was well furnished and comfortable. Had everything we needed. The induction stove was a little tricky for us but that was operator error since we never used one before. We figured it out though :) Great place in a great area! Would definitely recommend!
The proximity to Davis and Thomas was perfect and we enjoyed each of the small towns. The Purple Fiddle was great and we loved the ice cream and love music! The Riverfront Woodfire Pizza was delicious! We hit a handful of waterfalls in the area: Blackwater Falls, Douglas Falls, Albert Falls and Elakala Falls. Douglas Falls was a pleasant surprise and well worth the drive down the pothole filled road. You can drive to the end and the waterfall is actually pretty big. Seneca Rocks hike is not to be missed! And driving up to Spruce Knob, the highest point in WV, was a great stop on the way home.
Enjoyed our stay!

Four of us enjoyed Bridget’s cabin. It was exactly as described with plenty of space.
As I was working on places to stay in Davis,WV, Bridget was a wonderful communicator and responded to my messages quickly.
The adorable cabin was nicely located to be able to enjoy Davis and Thomas, WV.
The beds are comfortable and the neighborhood quite for sleeping.
We just wish it wasn’t raining as her outside space would have been so nice to enjoy.
With the rain, she was very generous to delay our check out. We were there to bike from there to Elkins WV on the Blackwater Canyon Trail and Allegheny Highlands Trail.
She could not have been more accommodating !

the owner was never home, and I was not prepared to unload my luggage over a very short but bumpy path to the door. She had recommended a nearby restaurant, but it turns out it only serves food from 5-9 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so it wasn't even open . I had to prevail on some folks in the adjacent condo to help me get my luggage in. Luckily I had brought my own food,. but I was shocked to read in the book of rules that I was expected to wash my own dishes (this was not a shared kitchen, the the fee included a cleaning fee) and even wash my own towels. I had asked whether the host used scent free laundry detergent and she replied that she did, but the detergent in the apartment was NOT scent free. There was no grab bar in the bathroom and it felt very unsafe .
