Super comfortable stay where we enjoyed the lake and the great property. Homey without being someone’s home, thoughtful touches you hope for in the best stays. Terrific communication with the property manager, couldn’t have asked for better. We loved kayaking, lunch on the porch, cozying on the cushy couch, morning neighborhood walks. Thank you!

Staying at Kerry’s was a dream! It was our family’s first Christmas without my dad. My moms wish was to have her children and grand children together in one place for the holiday. From the moment I reached out to Kerry I knew we had chosen the right place. She was incredibly kind and accommodating. The property and the views were stunning and immaculate. The house had everything we needed and more…I was surprised to find a beautiful Christmas tree upon arrival - making it feel like home away from home Christmas celebration. The only downside was having to leave. I highly recommend a stay at Kerry’s. My family is talking about another stay in the summer! Thank you Kerry for making a difficult Christmas one that we’ll remember for a long time to come!

This was the most amazing experience. The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The house and grounds are amazing and every bit as beautiful as the pictures. The house was stocked with everything we may need (I’ve been places that don’t even provide a hand towel). Host had great communication. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Stunning property ! Even in torrential rain! Kerry was amazing and responsive and so kind . Wonderful spot for the bride and the bridesmaids to get ready for the wedding . Looking forward to staying again sometime soon !

The property location is stunning. The kayaks and floaters and life preserves came in handy! We enjoyed the fire pit! The home is fully updated and immaculate. Well stocked with towels, dishes, games and plenty of fun. Perfect location for family wedding at nearby Candlewood Inn. Hosts were very accessible and accommodating. 5 star indeed!

Our family had such a great time at this lake house. The house was immaculate, well stocked, and the location was GREAT! Kerry was a pleasure to deal with and answered any questions we had prior to, and during our stay, immediately. We will definitely be staying here again next summer!

What a place. House was perfect. Super clean and new. Had all the things you would need (including beach towels). But let’s talk about the outside! Deck was a dream, huge yard to play in and dock was perfect for fishing. We rented a pontoon boat for 1/2 a day which was a blast. Highly recommend

This rental property had it all. We have stayed at a lot of rental properties and this was one of the best! We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding and it was such a treat for her to get ready for her big day in this beautiful home. The house is well appointed. There is nothing that you need. Fresh firewood was in the fire pit. Coffee pods in the cupboard etc. It has beautiful views. The house is immaculate. Kerry was helpful, responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. I highly recommend this property!

Kerry was so kind + accomodating to our last minute change in our scheduled trip, as well as her genuine concern for my Dad's safety. We all truly enjoyed our early Fathers Day celebration with my 94 year old Dad, 88 year old father in law and my husband! Great home, weather + fishing!!! Couldn't want for more!

We rented this property April 10th to the 15th . We enjoyed a fun week of fishing with our children and grandchildren. The dock was perfect for our bass boat. The house and patio were amazing and views of the lake were great. Fire pit was stocked with wood which made for enjoyable campfires. House was immaculate and stocked with everything you need. Kerry was very pleasant to communicate with.I highly recommend this property.

Everything was clean and well organized with cleaning and kitchen supplies well stocked. Property is on a point with a spectacular view of Candlewood Lake. Have rented there houses on the Lake in mid-winter before but this one was the best for us

My family visited from Florida and I thought renting a lake house would be a great idea for them to experience Fall in the New England area. This house is so perfect, cozy and yet spacious for us to chill. The house is very clean which many reviewers had mentioned. It’s on the flat part of the lake which couldn’t be more desired. I imagine it’d be so much fun in the summer with access steps right into the lake. The area is so close to many activities, great location. Kerry is super helpful and accommodating our arrival & departure times. I would definitely rent this house again.

I can't say enough about this house. The photos don't do it justice. The open outdoor space, beautiful yard and patio offered such a relaxing atmosphere. The view of the lake, from both inside and outside, was amazing. Having canoes, floats, games to play and seating everywhere you wish, was simply the best - especially for my three 10-13 year-old kids. There were also Thermacell mosquito repellents (which I use at home), and even binoculars too. And, we very much appreciated that the firepit was already prepared with fresh wood ready to be lit! The inside of the home was just as beautiful, and fully stocked with amenities that I rarely find in other vacation rentals. This home had condiments, seasonings, coffee and all types of sweeteners, and more. There were also household cleaning supplies, and even bathing products (shampoo, q-tips, etc.). I also appreciated the extra blankets around the home, which kept us warm during the cool nights, and having more towels than we'd ever need. Most importantly, the house was super clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. It was our first time at Candlewood Lake, and we would definitely visit again.

All I can start off saying is WOW. This property is absolutely amazing in every aspect. As soon as I pulled up to the house I knew it was going to be a gem. The outside is set up with floats and kayaks, adorable set up in the backyard with plenty of room to sit, lay and play. The location, the set up, the cleanliness is an 11/10. I have never rented a house that was more equipped with everything you can possibly need. From napkins/paper towels, to garbage bags, to the size and quantity of the garbage cans, to towels for the bathroom and lake, the pots/pans to utensils, it's like being at home. I have not one single complaint, just praise for this house. My favorite rental on the lake by far. HIGHLY recommended. We will definitely be back and hopefully soon.

The house is very very clean, and organized, with amazing stone patio by the water. Plenty of space to dine with group, chill, and BBQ. Our family had an amazing time on the patio, the yard, and bondfire by the lake. Plenty of parking spaces, and the owner is very friendly helpful and very supportive during the stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and calm. I never seen any house that provide so much towels, and even laundry detergent. I highly recommended this house to anyone any day that is looking for a lake house around Connecticut area. I'm definitely booking again if our family decides to stay around that area.

Beautiful inside and out! Amazing back patio, and lawn area. Inside is stocked with all of the essential needs, all appliances are in top condition. Owner is very gracious and responds quickly to communication. Great location on the lake, close to a marina and Down The Hatch!

This property was perfect. And I am not exaggerating. The host seemed to think of every possible need. The home was spotless, every amenity worked perfectly. The view of the lake and the dock were second to none. The bedrooms were equipped with top of the line mattresses and linens, the kitchen had everything you need, and the bathrooms were top of the line. I honestly feel this is the best VRBO home I have ever rented.
