Very pleasant experience. We'll return.

Wonderful location. The best view we have encountered. Very comfortable and large accommodation.

The building need some maintenance. The wooden staircase leading to our room needs replacing. Our umbrella on the balcony is worn out. Parking space very tight.

Best ocean view

We stayed twice in 2 different rooms, and both were equally amazing. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Loved the view, the proximity to the supermarkets and restaurants. All in all: highly recommended and great value for money.

Best ocean view in Hermanus

The house is beautiful and has the best view in Hermanus. It is located on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. It is also within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room is very spacious with a terrace. The check-in and out were smooth, and the lady was very polite and informative. She gave us some additional information and answered all our questions without hesitation. We stayed in room N 8 and N 5. Both were great.

That we didn't stay more nights.

Stunning view, very comfortable accommodation - would highly recommend!

We had room #8 - and it's view is breathtaking! We loved the size of the unit which gives you space for a lounge as well as a balcony whoch looks out over the cliff path and the sea all the way to the other side of the bay - we will be back, God-willing! It was a Treat, even just for 1 night. Thank you 11 Westcliff & Cherish for making our stay so lovely!

We would recommend it.

We didn’t have breakfast. We were able to buy what we wanted and eat it on our balcony. It was a 20 minute walk into town which was ideal. We loved being right on the cliff path. No load shedding problems.

There was no air conditioning so it was a little hot on a couple of nights.

Tolles Hause am Meer und Cliff Path

Die Lage ist einfach zauberhaft. Der Blick aufs Meer und den Pool einfach wunderschön. Alles hatte viel Charme und war liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Eigentlich nicht viel. Manches scheint schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein, aber das ist am Meer halt schneller so. In dem Aufenthaltsräumen im EG roch es manchmal etwas modrig. Es hatte bei uns allerdings auch mal geregnet... am nächsten Tag nach dem Durchzug war es wieder gut.

The location is brilliant - close the the town center with an amazing view. The facilities are good and also great for families or bigger groups of people. Room is spacious and clean. The staff is very helpful.

Ruhig am schönen Hermanus Cliff Path

Absolute Ruhe und sehr schöner Ausblick! Wir hatten ein Zimmer im EG und unsere Freunde im 1. OG. Uns hat es im EG besser gefallen, als unseren Freunden oben. Wir hatten ein sehr hohes Zimmer, riesig-gross mit separater Ankleide und somit trotz viel Sonne keine Wärme wie oben. Armaturen funktionierten gut (oben nicht), Bett war sehr gut (oben nicht sonderlich).

Die Terrassentüre bietet keine Sicherheit und die Anlage ist zugänglich für jeden von Seite des Meeres.

Super Lage mit kleinen Abstrichen

Absolut Top Lage! Sehr großes Apartment und ein traumhafter Blick vom Balkon.

Die Möbel waren teilweise etwas abgewohnt und die Schlösser in Fenstern und Türen schwer oder nicht nutzbar (Eingangstür Schloss dreht durch / Balkontür fiel das Schloss ab / Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen).Alles Dinge die durch den Blick und die Lage aber wett gemacht wurden.

A lovely peaceful stay

The excellent position next to the cliff top walk. Short Walking distance to centre of Hermanus. The restfulness of the pool area as no children are allowed. The comfortable beds, chairs & shower The access to the kitchen items with crockery, cutlery, microwaves, etc We found the list of the local restaurants, coffee shops, etc with your comments very useful.

Our room no 2 was very warm at night, but this was easily solved by the fan.

Fantastic Guesthouse in every way, an absolute must stay when visiting beautiful Hermanus!

The Location of the Guesthouse was literally perfect, right on the cliff with unobscured breathtaking views of the Ocean and the magnificent Southern Right Whales in the Bay! The Room was huge, spotlessly clean with a private balcony overlooking the Ocean and a massive and extremely comfortable bed! The hostess and staff were all so friendly and informative which just added to an overall perfect stay.

Literally nothing, all was absolutely perfect!

Sehr sympathisches, hilfsbereites Personal. Es herrscht eine gute Stimmung. Frühstücksbox kann als super Extraservice bestellt werden

Super gelegen zum Wal beobachten

Eine Unterkunft ideal zum Wale beobachten. Wir standen nicht einmal 4 Minuten auf dem Balkon und haben schon welche gesehen. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Managerin kümmert sich um ihre Gäste z.B. um den Wechsel meines Mietwagens. Ein Ausgang der Pension führt direkt auf den Küstenweg und man kann direkt vor dem Grundstück auf den Felsen sitzen und sich an Walen mit Kälbern und den Bullen satt sehen. Der Ort Hermanus ist in 20min Fußweg zu erreichen. Wir haben uns dort sehr sicher gefühlt. Da die Unterkunft nur über einen externen Frühstückszulieferer bedient wird, haben wir das Frühstück im Ort eingenommen, da dort Restaurants für die Gäste vorhanden sind.

Perfect place to stay and we spotted Whales in the bay within 10 minutes of checking in!!!

The property is in the perfect location, spotlessly clean, a large well appointed room (R8). The staff were super friendly and on hand to assist with any requests.

we couldn’t make coffee as the coffee maker dispensed a cold cup and the cafetière let granules into the coffee.

Place to Be

The view feels like one of a kind and paired with the quality of the rooms, this is a definite must stay. The staff were amazing and always willing to help. This will be on our must return list for next year!!!

This place had everything we needed. However, we would have enjoyed some breakfast bowls.

Wunderschöne Aussicht aufs Meer

Mega schöne Aussicht, grosses Zimmer mit grossem Bett, Kaffeezubehör im Zimmer und Kühlschrank, sehr schöne Poolanlage (leider konnten wir es nicht nutzen, da es zu kalt war) sehr nette Mitarbeiter, alles tiptop.
