My wife and 5 year old son stayed for a long weekend and this was the perfect space! We had enough room inside to be comfortable when we were inside, but we spent most of our time in the hot tub and down by the fire pit. Hiking, biking, and restaurants are all within 20 minutes, making this a perfect location for us to enjoy and return in the future!

Everything great and it’s near New river gorge which works out great.

What you see is what you get. Just a comfortable, relaxing place to stay that's close to Fayetteville and several parks. We slept very well and the hot tub felt great after a long day of hiking.

Has space heaters on the inside with mini split ac/heater system . The heat wasn’t too bad in the back bedroom but the living room and kitchen was cold because they had a space heater for that area ani it kept kicking the circuit breaker so the living room and kitchen are stayed cold because we had to leave the heater off the space heater in the bedroom stayed on

Property was clean and peaceful, bed was soft but not cheap, hottub was absolutely wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were super responsive, and the cabin was cozy as could be. It, plus the closeness to the New River Gorge National Park (albeit by car), made for a great trip.

We were there for a Gauley Season rafting trip and enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect (under 6 miles to Adventures On The Gorge). Like most of the other reviews, the shower head is very low but manageable. There were a couple of small issues that were resolved quickly and efficiently. Hot tub was wonderful and appreciated after being on the river all day. The bed was super comfy and we would definitely stay here on our next adventure!

We will definitely be back to stay!! The hot tub is what made our stay the best. I would recommend a better idea for a bigger hot water tank in the cabin & better pillows.

The property is amazing! I got to see Turkeys and deer every evening I stayed on the property. It is 1/4 mile from hawks next state park. A quick 15 minute ride to new river gorge national park. It’s not a far drive to the next city if you need to grab anything. Mackenzie is great at messaging you back if you need anything!

My wife and I were looking for place to spend a week away from home and work, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Clean and well maintained, on a beautiful piece of land midway between Fayetteville and Summersville, we had easy access to the falls in the area, Summersville lake, and state parks and hiking trails. The cabin was perfectly sized, with more room than the pictures lead you to believe. After days at the lake or hiking, coming back to the cabin to relax in the private hot tub in the cool evening air was incredible. Highly recommended.

The property worked for us as we only stayed on night. The only thing that gave us a little trouble was the ceiling height and shower head height in the shower. 3 of the people in my group were over 6 feet tall. Even with that we would stay here again.

Very clean and well stocked with blankets and towels. My son loved the loft??

Good location, secure private hot tub, very clean and accommodating, and deer grazing nearby. We will book this location again, Lord willing!

Thank you so much for hosting us. We loved the location and the place itself was so cute and clean. We did a lot of hiking and exploring during the day and this was the perfect place to come back unwind and relax in.

This property was amazing! So peaceful and relaxing yet not too far from dining. Very clean and had plenty of towels and linens. I will definitely be returning.

I really enjoyed my stay and how close it was to everything in the park. It’s also close to restaurants and department stores. I highly recommend staying there.

My boyfriend and I stayed here and loved it! We came during the weekend of a hurricane, so although we couldn’t do much outdoor activities at the nearby state park, we had a nice time staying in the cabin. The hot tub was such a nice addition to have as well.

The stay was great. Looks better in person even. Close to a breakfast place and a nice state park. Glad I chose this place!

Nice and cozy cabin. The owner was responded quickly to questions. Enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was very clean and cozy. Needs more furniture. Especially a dresser in the bedroom. It got a little chilly at night but the host brought us a space heater that helped. Hot tub was great.

The property owners were very accommodating.

The beds were cozy, the cabin was quaint, and the hot tub was very welcome after a day on the river. 👍

Loved the private hot tub...it is in a separate attached building. It was a little confusing which place we were renting. There are 3 matching buildings on same property not sure all are being rented. It is located in a small town on a state route. Very close to HawksNest State Park. Comfortable basic accomodations. Would stay there again.

Overall nice place to stay! Check in was a breeze and the place was very clean. It is a little bit small for the price, but the location to the national park and the hot tub definitely made it worth it! The hot tub was very nice after long days of hiking/whitewater rafting. Only complaints are that the shower head is very short and the cabin is small. But for my boyfriend and I, it was perfect!

This was a great place for our family to stay while we explored and adventured in New River Gorge. The beds were comfy and the hot tub was so nice after hiking and rafting all day. The kitchen is well appointed for its size. The shower is a little tight if you’re over 5’5” but even my 6’2” husband made it work. For us this was more akin to glamping than to a luxury cabin experience and for that, it is perfect.

Clean and basic! We didn’t spend a lot time there so we didn’t need anything fancy. I loved the quietness and distance between other cabins. LOVED THE HOTTUB! It was great for apre rafting muscles! World definely would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Oak Oasis! The cabin had a rustic feel and was clean and cutely decorated. The location is excellent for anything you want to do in the area. This would be an ideal place for one or two couples, or a family with older children. Access to the loft is a steep wooden staircase/ladder and may feel like a safety concern for families with younger children.

To be honest I was nervous to book because it had no reviews, well I am super happy I took a chance! The cabin looked even better in person then in the pictures! It was very clean! The kitchen, although small, had most of the stuff we needed! The hot tub room was perfect. We enjoyed the fire pit as well. The host was quick to respond!
The negatives would be it is kinda close to the road but the road noise was not too bad. The other negative would be the bathroom is very small. If you are tall you might have an issue standing in the shower.
Overall the this is very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
