Perfect accommodation in lovely lewes

Very pretty. great care taken with the design Comfy bed and pretty roll top bath in the bedroom. It even had a splash room. Pretty lounge overlooking the garden. Practical kitchen and room to park!

Perfect rest stop in the way to our trip to France.

An ideal place to stay in Lewes.

A nice place to stay over in Lewes. Our host was flexible about arrival time and very accommodating. A nice set of breakfast supplies were left for us to use which worked very well. Flat was interesting in its layout, but very appropriate for a couple.

Nice comfy flat, well appointed.

Spacious flat with everything you need for self catering. Very comfortable, and Julie the owner was friendly and helpful. I wouldn't have found the 'secret' room, ie the living room and toilet/shower room with being shown... but was very pleased with everything after the discovery!

Possible the velux windows in the bedroom could have done with shades, as the light did wake me quite early in the morning. But it didn't bother me too much as I had to get up early anyway, and no-one could see in. The bed being on a platform was fine for me, but could cause someone with mobility issues a wee bit of difficulty.

OK for a short stay

The location was good, just a lovely 15 minute walk from the town centre.

The layout could be considered nice and quirky if it wasn't so irritating. The shower room is in the lounge and if you're in the bedroom/bathroom, you have to walk through the kitchen to get to it. The kitchen/diner is small with no hobs to cook on other than a portable affair which is kept in a cupboard and plugs into a wall socket. You can't get into the bed from the side. It's on a platform that takes up the width of the room, so you have to crawl in from the end. There are also skylights in the bedroom with no blinds, so you have light streaming in first thing in the morning.

A nice couple of days over the Xmas period

location was lovely near the lovely town of Lewes , host was courteous and made sure how stay went well , amenities was good

stayed in to watch some Xmas eve TV but no Aerial to the Television set only Netflix, was disappointing and I do realise people don’t go away to watch Tv but with todays technology it wouldn’t take a lot to fix

Excellent stay!

Even in rainy weather it is a great place to stay. The flat is lovely and very quiet, a perfect place to get some rest and become calm. And very close to the beautiful downs!

Breakfast was quite basic, but it was great that there were also ingredients (rice, lentils and herbs) to make an evening meal. Everything else was superb.

Beautiful cosy apartment in a fab location!

We loved the features of this apartment, it felt very private and had lovely finishing touches like LED sensor lights in a few of the rooms. We loved the bath feature in the bedroom and the secret door! we also loved the cosy fireplace! It was a shame we couldn’t use it but clearly a previous guest has burnt the carpet. We liked that Brighton was 20 mins drive away so we spent our days there enjoying the coast.

We would have appreciated blinds on all of the windows in the bedroom ceiling as it let light in very early. We would also have liked more of a breakfast selection, I personally don’t like cereal and it wasn’t clear this was breakfast. Even just a little croissant and jam that we could cook ourselves would have been a nice touch.

A lovely place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of town but within easy walking distance.

I would have been happy to pay a little more for a better breakfast selection, but this wasn't a problem. We had a lovely time in Lewes and the apartment was in a lovely secluded area just out of town which was quiet and relaxing.

Sadly, the sun didn t shine much that week but it didn t spoil my stay

I have already done so. Loved how quiet and compact it is plus the views of the garden.

Good base for a couple of nights stay in Lewes

Lovely clean apartment, with good facilities for a short stay, with parking in road. Self contained secluded garden. Good access to Lewes by foot taking about 20 minutes . Limited bus service available at the end of the road .

The bed is comfortable but due to its level could prove awkward for those with mobility problems plus a deep step down from the patio door to the garden. Light sleepers may prefer blinds for all the bedroom ceiling windows.
