Quaint and peaceful 1 bedroom cottage in delightful, de-lovely, DeLand, Florida. Steps away from Stetson University and the downtown shops, restaurants and boutiques. 18 miles to Daytona, 24 miles to New Smyrna Beach, 40 miles to Orlando. Often quoted as "The Real Florida", this artsy and historic town offers many fresh clear water springs for kayaking and manatee viewing. The perfect place for a couple and also offers a comfortable fold out couch for 1-2 extra guests. Wonderful outdoor patio and all the comforts of home! PLEASE NOTE: The maximum time this property is offered per guest is 2 weeks.

Property is great. Perfect for a couple or couple with one or two children. I say this because the bathroom is an on suite so if someone is sleeping on the fold out, they have to go through the master bedroom. Just something to be aware of.

This was our 2nd time renting this property and it’s just the perfect place!! It feels like home. You can just sense that this place is the owner’s “ Happy Place”. It oozes charm and character. The front covered porch is a great place to read, drink a glass of wine or just relax. The large livingroom/dining room is bright and airy. The king bed is super comfortable. There’s a washer/dryer on site. If you are ever in DeLand this is THE place to stay at!!! I promise you that you won’t be disappointed. The Crowned Cottage is a ROYAL gem!

Everything was wonderful at this cozy property. The house and its enchanting decor are sublime, and spic and span! Whatever we needed was well provided for; the host has thought of every detail. We felt very welcomed. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, despite being within walking distance to the main street and university. Would love to stay here again!

Perfect cottage, perfect host, perfect location! I recommend staying here highly! I would give it 10 stars if I could. It is the perfect house for a couple to get away to. We will definitely be coming back.

this little cottage was perfect in every way. so stylish in decoration, comfortable bed, and the host thought of everything we could want for our comfort. the location was convenient and close to shopping and dining. 100% recommend this lovely cottage to anyone looking for a homey and relaxing get away.

This little cottage is clean, quaint, and cozy. It's a short and pleasant walk to campus and to downtown. Karen was very accommodating to our needs, and the check-out list was reasonable. We will happily book here again!

The Crowned Cottage was an amazing place to stay. I am picky about cleanliness; this cottage is super clean! We enjoyed ourselves and everything about the place. We were very comfortable staying in this sweet home. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet. We would love to stay here again.

The Cottage is very nice. It is well cared for and had all the amenities you could need for a short stay.
It is also nicely furnished and decorated (we've been in ones that are so cluttered that you can barely move - this was not the case here. It was very stylish and comfortable). It is about 1/2 a mile from the main street area of shops and restaurants for an easy drive or walk. It is only a block or so from Stetson which would make it very convenient if that is the reason for the visit.

This property was extremely adorable! It's a shame or was just me there, because my wife would have loved it. It's very cozy and romantic and would be for a couples getaway.
Karen, the owner, was very kind as well and went above and beyond for me. If you're looking to stay in the area, I highly recommend this property!

The cottage was just like the description. So quaint and cozy. The directions to the house and getting in was made simple and easy to follow. The area was so quiet and peaceful and very close to downtown.
Karen was so sweet to leave us some welcoming snacks, coffee and hot chocolate! The weather was perfect and the house stayed nice and cool the whole time, we never had to adjust the temperature the entire time, which made us not want to get out of the comfy king bed!
We loved everything about this place, from the decor to the bathroom towels. 😊 If ever in the area again we would definitely book again.

Loved this cottage. Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Located close to the historic district with shopping and lots of restaurants. The owner was super communicative and checked in to make sure I was comfortable.

Very cute cottage. Tastefully decorated with all the nice things you appreciate when traveling. The cottage was very clean throughout. The bed and linens very comfortable. Ling size bed.
Communications with host were perfect as well as the instructions for guests. I will stay agin when going back to DeLand!

Great stay at a clean and historic home. It was the perfect size for a weekend stay and very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Front porch was a nice spot in the mornings. If in town again, we would stay again!

Really enjoyed our time at this lovely cottage. Karen has done a wonderful job making the cottage a warm inviting home but with elegance. Great location close to town. Covered front porch was perfect for morning coffee. Appreciated the snacks after a long drive, you really thought of everything.

The Crown Cottage is amazing. Karen has done a great job making it unique but comfortable. The bed was so great and the furnishing was perfect for our stay. My husband and I came to visit with our daughter and her boyfriend. It was so comfortable to have them over for coffee on the porch and games at the table. Downtown DeLand and Stetson University is walking distance. The neighborhood was family oriented and safe. It is truly a gem. Thanks Karen having such a great place to stay available.

Glad to see the coffee provided and the snacks. Very, very clean. Comfortable king size bed. Close to the baseball stadium where we attended games. Also close to downtown with stores and restaurants. Easy to checkin and checkout.

We loved this cottage…perfect for my husband and me. So many thoughtful extra touches, plus the owner made everything so easy from check in, to touching base during our stay to see if we needed anything to make our stay better. We moved away from the DeLand area over 30 years ago. This trip " home" was a short but so sweet journey. The cottage was a dream for the two of us, great location in town , in a very peaceful neighborhood. The home was fully furnished with everything we could have needed or wanted. Clear concise communication with the owner and a notebook full of information about the area attractions. If we need to ever be in the area again, we will certainly be back here!

This was a great place. So clean and equipped with everything you need. Nice place to sit outside, even had a fire pit for cool nights. Quiet neighborhood and close to downtown. Would definitely stay again.

Super comfortable, cozy, well maintained. Karen was VERY responsive to any questions we had. While we did not really use the kitchen amenties except for coffee and wine glasses, it had all we would have needed to prepare a meal. We would, definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

Beautiful and quiet
Beautiful home, love the feel and quietness of the area. Great downtown area within easy walking distance. Great place for a couple or like me a single person to stay. Arrived to a clean place with a very appreciative goody box! Karen is very helpful and responsive to any questions. Definitely a place I will stay again in the future!
