Beautiful place, excellent location.
Bathroom door wouldn't stay closed or lock without using door stop.
5.0
Very clean and modern beautifully decorated throughout will definitely stay here again
Nothing really the outside of the building can put you off but the flat itself was beautiful
4.5
Great location, property clean, welcoming and in good condition, a great base for us to get out into Porthcawl.
The windows at the front didn't shut properly and there was a lot of noise at night. It would have been better if the windows could lock shut

Very nice apartment with beautiful decor. Everything about this stay went smoothly an absolute gem. Thank you for having us.
4.5
Location, the comfort and facilities
The bin had not been emptied when cleaned which we sorted out on arrival. The entrance hall is very scruffy but the flat is superb - so dont be put off
2.5
The flat was up 2 flights of stairs and was very cold on arrival.
There was nowhere to sit comfortably to watch TV or relax as the lounge had been turned into a bedroom and although there was a sofa and chair, the sofa was on the landing and the chair was at the top of the stairs leading to the kitchen.
A sofa bed which was very hard (uncomfortable) took up the whole of the 3rd bedroom leaving almost no room to get In it and certainly no room for a bedside table.
The 2nd bedroom had a large bed which almost touched the radiator leaving a very tight space to get through.
There was a very large walk in wardrobe with a bin bag full of dirty laundry (bedding and towels), microwave, lamp and other bits.
The 1st bedroom also had a large bed, oversized wardrobe and various other units and was probably a lounge originally.
The bathroom was very large with opened shower/bath bottles and a vanity unit with lots of bits and pieces in.
I'm sorry to say the whole flat had too many personalised items in it.
I could go on but it is not my Intention to insult anyone, however, in my opinion this was not a warm cosy retreat but a cold, cluttered uncomfortable experience.

The location was in a good location close to the centre of activities in Porthcawl.
It was very clean which is what I needed for my young family.
The very spacious bathroom.
we only stayed one night but many stairs in the property.
A little tight in places
3.5
Quality and theme of the interior design. Owners have made good use of space adding lovely touches to create a romantic setting. The two double bedrooms are a generous size where you could easily spend the whole of your stay. The bathroom is a glorious size with a large rain shower and bath.
Apart from the dining table there is nowhere to sit together if you booked the whole apartment with 6 guests.
It would have been better if the heating had been on so that the flat was warm on arrival. I think guests should be given a hand towel each as well as a bath towel.

would have liked a lounge area for 4 us to have been able to sit comfortably to watch tv, however we didn’t spend much time in the property

Everything. Especially the fabulous comfy big bed and gorgeous duvet and bedding . The gorgeous very tasteful furnishings etc .Everything was to my taste too.
Unfortunately as I cannot get in and out of a bath anymore I would have really appreciated a rubber non slip bath mat in the bath , or shower, so that I could use the shower, or bath as I nearly slipped a few times in the shower I was quite anxious about that. . However there was nothing we didn't like. We had a lovely stay in lovely accommodation.. Don't be put off as we would have been by the outside appearance had we not known how it was. Inside. It looks very shabby , and the outside does need to give a good impression tbh. especially to people who haven't booked it and drive up wondering what the inside is like after seeing the outside. That's only my opinion. I knew it was beautiful inside from photos, but if you haven't seen photos you wouldnt know. When you get inside Nickys retreat you'll have a gr8 surprise and will be very relieved. I would have liked to have had a brief introduction to Nicky though. We would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely use it again.

Lovely stay best best been to
Stairs were hardwork with a baby but that's it
4.5
a very well appointed apartment with everything you could possibly need for a week long stay
It lacked a proper seating area.
slightly thicker mattress toppers would give a more comfortable sleep but in general these were small concerns.

Great location for the seafront and town. The flat was very well equipped, very clean and really nicely furnished with no less than 4 tv's! Lots of soft furnishings and touches that made it feel like a home rather than a dull, sterile and boring rental. Would happily stay again.
The mattresses in the 2 main double bedrooms are not at all comfy and need replacing. We resolved this by one of us using one of the throws under the bottom sheet so the springs couldn't be felt and the other of us used the duvet provided to lie on and the duvet from the 3rd bedroom over the top which made it better. Overall though the positives outweighed this negative.
