Welcome to The Blue Crab just a few blocks from the Chesapeake Bay. You will enjoy staying at our newly renovated luxury cottage. We are located on the very popular 7th Street where you can walk to the beach, a variety of restaurants, and shops. We have FREE beach passes for up to 4 guests.
Featuring a fully fenced yard, our beach cottage is the perfect choice for families who want to bring their dog/s along for the fun. With a beach theme throughout, our rental is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day at the beach.
In the family room, you'll find a comfortable surround couch and a cozy fireplace, perfect for relaxing on cool nights. The fully fenced backyard features a deck - proving the perfect spot for outdoor dining and even star gazing. Featuring a complete laundry room with a washer and dryer, you won't have to worry about running out of clean clothes during your stay. Also, choose off street or on street parking - whichever you prefer.
We provide all linens, beach chairs, an umbrella and beach towels, making it easy for you to pack light and enjoy your vacation to the fullest. And with a safe, friendly neighborhood that takes pride in its surroundings, you'll feel right at home during your stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at North Beach. The cute house had everything the three of us needed plus we could walk all over town. The host was quick to respond to questions.

The Blue Crab is a charming beach bungalow. Very clean and updated. Nicely decorated beach decor. Close to restaurants and the beach. The hosts were very welcoming. The fenced in backyard is a plus. Very nice place to stay if you want to visit North Beach

This property was terrific for my husband, dog and me. It is well-maintained, clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed to make this a wonderful stay. The house is located within walking distance to everything North Beach has to offer. Thank you Danielle for being a great host.

Property and home were in excellent condition. Home made us feel welcome and secure. Host provides extras that make your stay convenient. Close to the restaurants and ice cream shop that serves Hershey ice cream. Love the people and neighborhood.

It was clean and had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay. There are one or two steps between many of the rooms so keep that in mind.

This property is in a great location! The house is adorable and the owner was very responsive and accommodating when I needed to add an extra day. I would definitely recommend!

Great cottage a short walk from the bay. Quiet neighborhood. Fenced backyard to sit and enjoy the sun or let your dog lay in the grass. Streaming cable. (Bring your logins for premiums!) WiFi great for leisure, but choppy for those on business Zoom calls. Gas grill a nice touch.
Side note: Local restaurants seem to shutdown on Monday/Tuesday sometimes without notice in the colder months.
Pet fee ask the night before check-in was a little surprising and not planned for, but didn't ruin the experience. Just be prepared for it as it doesn't show up on the booking process, probably because of VRBO.
My Golden assured me she'd enjoy the backyard enough to make it worthwhile....and she did!

We stayed 6 nights to be close to family for Christmas. The 3 parking spaces allowed for the family to park too when they came for dinner Christmas night. Our host replied to our messages immediately. The home was decorated with a Christmas tree and lights on the fence. The electric fireplace added to the warmth that made us feel at home! The kitchen was stocked. There were comfortable towels and linens. The privacy fenced yard, deck with a table and grill gave us room to be outside. We walked 2 blocks to the Chesapeake Bay for coffee. Love loved it and hope to stay again when we come in town.

Used to live in the area and came back to town to visit friends. We've stayed at Danielle's property next door (the Lazy Crab) and loved it, and thought we'd give the Blue Crab a try. As we expected, the property was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. Easy walking distance to restaurants and the boardwalk, and having the fenced yard for the pup makes life so easy. Danielle is very responsive and easy to work with...we highly recommend both of her properties!

The Blue Crab Beach House was so cute and comfortable for a long weekend staycation in North Beach. Super clean, pet friendly with a fully fenced in yard, and laundry available! Walking distance to great restaurants and bars, the boardwalk, and beach. Host was so accommodating and easy to reach!

My family stayed at the Blue Crab for a quick anniversary trip. My husband and I were celebrating our 12 wedding anniversary. Our two children came along. This was the first time we visited North Beach and we fell in love with all of it! Our hosts provided an exceptionally clean home with everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Our 2nd visit to North Beach for the Annapolis boat show. We love the quaint, quiet, friendly beach community, along with excellent restaurants. We love the personal comfort of Vrbo’s especially after a long day of sight seeing etc. The Blue Crab provided, exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and beautiful seaside decor. It was everything - plus as the photos. Beautiful! Our host was wonderful 🌼 The Blue Crab is a excellent place to bring your pets. Nice size fenced yard, should we decide to bring ours. The cottage does have several step downs & they are light for safety. We loved the orange lights on the porch for Halloween 🎃 our favorite holiday. Thank you for sharing The Blue Crab for others to enjoy.

The property was very clean and comfortable. Great sheets and bed. Looked like it had just been renovated. Close to restaurants and beach, pier area. Coffee was provided. Nice area and not too far away.

This cottage is really great...cute, well-appointed, and located just the perfect walk distance to the North Beach Boardwalk. We enjoyed our stay, as did our pups, and slept so well too! Thanks for the use of the washer/dryer (so nice to have) and for the kitchen we everything we needed. We planned a laid back visit with day trips to Solomon's Island and Annapolis. We loved reading by the bay and boardwalk.

We didn’t realize how many short steps there were between rooms, which was an issue for one of our guests. We suggest that you add some nightlights or mark those steps.
Overall, the experience was excellent. The rooms were very clean and artfully decorated. Follow up to make certain we didn’t need anything was much appreciated.

My mini doodle and I stayed in this charming and cozy cottage just blocks from great restaurants, coffee shop, retail and the beach. The property is totally fenced in! The house has all the amenities you need. North Beach is a friendly charming community. Thank you Danielle for a lovely stay. We will be back!

we loved the cottage, so clean and decorated perfect for a beach vacation. town folks friendly and lots of fun to be had at the rod and reel casino ! ! The boardwalk and shoppes are so quaint and nearby restaurants yummy. We had a fantastic anniverary dinner at hook and vine,,,, we will return.... thanks

Clean, lovely little place with all the necessities and few extra for your comfort. for us, we ended up driving down to the beach because we didn’t want to carry all our stuff all the way down to the beach entrance. Comes with beach passes but recommend exploring nearby beach, hiking attractions. There is a great folder with all the info you will need to stay and useful recommendations for other nearby attractions. Easy check in.

We had a fantastic time during our stay at the Blue Crab! The house was extremely clean and the décor was adorable. It was well decorated but also easy to child-proof by simply moving a few items to the top of the fridge. Everything was organized and convenient, from the entryway table with a helpful binder of things to do and a guestbook to the Wi-Fi password on a cute sign on the wall. The house has a great location and was an easy walk to the boardwalk and beach even with a double stroller. We definitely recommend the Blue Crab and the North Beach area for a fun getaway that is super convenient to the DMV.

We really enjoyed our break from reality. It's so nice to have a place where we can bring the whole family, which for us, are our dogs. We missed out on a lot of sun but we kept busy with actual relation. I am thankful for our hosts.

We stayed here for a short pre honeymoon and loved it! Super easy to find and simple to get into. A short walk to the boardwalk with lots of great dining options.
We loved the Hook and Vine, and the Bakist.
The house is cozy and the bed was very comfy.
One thing to note: the house is all one floor, but there are steps down into the bedrooms, bathroom, and the kitchen. It wasn’t an problem for us, but if you have mobility issues, this would be a drawback.

Perfect for small family visit to North Beach; the location is an easy walk to coffee, shops, and food, and most importantly, the shore. Impeccably clean, thoughtfully decorated, and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Overall, we had a great stay.

We planned a little 3 day pre holiday get-away with our pup. Such a nice cozy house with a fenced in yard. So convenient to everything in the North Beach area. Hosts are very responsive, folks in the neighborhood very friendly. Just what we needed!

Over the years we have stayed in many rental properties in north beach with our dog. Finding a dog-friendly location with a fenced yard that is beautiful, comfortable, and with a great location is not easy.
The Blue Crab met all our needs and exceeded our expectations. Danielle has thought of everything to make it comfortable and functional. The place was beautifully decorated, up to date and well maintained , and really just perfect!

This is a great little property just a short walk from restaurants, the beach (free passes included), and within driving distance of good breweries, which is what we typically do.
Our host was really great, checking in throughout our stay. Highly recommend this!

We had such a great stay! Danielle was an exceptional host. She was prompt in responding to every message. The house had everything we needed and more and was the perfect size for the 4 of us (husband and two kids, 8 and 6). Towels, beach wagon, beach passes, toiletries, a stocked kitchen, washer and dryer....all fabulous! The location was perfect and North Beach is an easy drive to nearby cities and other beaches (Breezy Point, Annapolis, etc). We will definitely visit again!

This was our first time in North Beach! Danielle is a great host and the cottage was exactly as described. Very clean and well stocked. The Hook and Vine was our favorite spot to eat! We are already looking forward to a return trip! Thanks for being pet friendly!
