About this cabin rental
Hoot Owl Cabin sits on a mountainside of 10 wooded acres that offers an authentic mountain cabin experience. Observing deer and other native wildlife is quite common. The property has a covered pavilion, fire pit and outdoor seating, Roku smart TV & WIFI. Hoot Owl Cabin has 1 bedroom with two twin beds, 1 king bed in the main cabin area and 1 full bath that has a 2 person deep Jacuzzi tub that also serves as a stand up shower.
Outside the cabin you'll find a covered pavilion where you can admire the 700 year hold Hoot Owl Tree along with a fire pit with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing campfire....just bring your firewood, marshmallows and hot dogs! A Weber charcoal grill is provided (we do not provide charcoal or lighter fluid) and ask that you use the gravel driveway to grill.
Hoot Owl Cabin is only minutes away from Eureka Springs, Beaver Lake, White River and Thorncrown Chapel. Enjoy many varied activities as you boat on Beaver Lake, float the White River, kayak, hike a trail in the Ozark Mountains, fly fish, mountain bike, climb, or even enjoy community theater and the many other attractions in and around Northwest Arkansas. Take in Eureka Springs for its highly-rated restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, antique shops, vintage clothing and craft shops, parks, natural springs, quirky tours and let's not forget the bars and micro-breweries! If you have time for day trips, check out the nearby towns of Fayetteville (home of the Arkansas Razorbacks), Bentonville (home of the Wal-Mart museum and Crystal Bridges Art Museum (spectacular) or nearby Branson, MO and Table Rock lake. Or you may choose to bring your supplies, never leave the property and just enjoy relaxing or exploring the 10 acres of mountainside. Many guests do just that!!! (Dogs especially love it because they can run off leash!). CRITTERS: We have a regular pest control company that maintains the grounds. As we are located in the forest, please note that bugs may be present on the property.
NATIVE PLANTS AND ANIMALS: This cabin is located in the middle of the Ozark Mountains. As such it is important for potential guests to understand before making a reservation that mother nature and her loving family of flora and fauna may make their presence known including snakes, lizards, deer, dogs, bears, raccoons, spiders, ladybugs, wasps, bees, rabbits, excessive pollen, poison ivy/oak, chiggers, beetles, field mice, ants, cockroaches, squirrels, opossums, flies, walking sticks, coyotes, moths, and butterflies, just to name a few. And, although, the cabin is on strict pest control and cleaning regimen our native flora and fauna may find a way to join you since you are visiting their habitat. We appreciate your understanding! Hunting is prohibited on property. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the cabin or on the front porch. Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground outside. If any are detected, a $300 fine will be assessed. Only dogs are allowed, with a pet fee. There is an exterior audio/video security camera on the property that is 40 feet from the front door of Hoot Owl Cabin.

Cabin was exactly as described and SUPER CLEAN. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and watching the local wildlife. Our dog was thrilled to be able to run off leash. Even though other cabins were close by, still felt wonderfully isolated.
Jetted tub was a big plus and beds were super comfortable. Only negative was maybe the steps down into the bedroom, but not a dealbreaker by any means. Will definitely plan another stay when we’re in the area again.

Super cute cabin - furnishings were so cute. Very well renovated. Beds were super comfy. Sheets, towels pillows all top of the line. Kitchen well stocked.
Bathroom was the only issue. There isa jetted tub but wasn’t super clean. The sink also had a pink ring around it that wasn’t clean. In addition there were 4 of us and only 3 towels, 2 wash clothes, 2 hand towels. No extras anywhere in the cabin.
Also the room with the twin beds was more like a converted shed. It was super cute and great for kids - adults would struggle a little.
Overall It was one of the nicer places to stay, it was away from the road and very quiet without being scary in the Arkansas woods.

What a great cabin to hide out for the weekend in! Close enough to all the things without being in the middle of it all. Nice and quiet! Tip: park in the driveway so others won’t drive through next to your cabin. This is no fault of the owners who have multiple signs and didn’t affect our wonderful stay! The cabin is stocked with everything you need including games. Fantastic place!

We came for Eureka Springs Pride. We were able to bring our dogs and this Hoot owl cabin was so relaxing and perfect!! We were even sitting inside watching a movie and looked out the window and saw deer right in front of cabin!! Beautiful place and located just far enough away but not a terrible drive to town! We even ended up staying an extra night luckily wasnt rented right after us! Highly recommended!! Thanks for having us!

A quiet and cozy cabin outside of Eureka. The only issue being if you plan to Uber or need delivery it is just far enough out of the main town that’s hard to get. But the property is beautiful and the owners/host are great to work with!

This was a perfect getaway spot! The pictures don’t do it justice. So cutely decorated with everything thoughtfully, arranged for a perfect cabin experience. We loved using the fire pit and heard the famous hoot owls while making smores. It was a delightful trip. Just enough space from Eureka Springs to really feel like your out in the middle of nowhere but a quick 15 minute drive into town.

Absolutely LOVED this cabin! My boyfriend and I wanted an extended weekend just to get away for a while and have a nice, peaceful place in the woods to call home for the weekend. Well we found what we were looking for at Hoot Owl! We saw deer, heard a couple owls hooting at each other at night, I went ziplining for the first time (went to Ozark Mountain Ziplining which I 0 recommend), we just had an all around blast!
Now for the cabin; absolutely beautiful! Such cute style too. Couldn’t get over the fire place either, VERY nice to have the first night since we had snow! Loved sitting outside around the fire pit stargazing as well.
We had a great time, would absolutely book again!

This is a charming little cabin in the woods. It has a complete kitchen, which I like, because we always prepare breakfasts where we are staying. It is clean and well decorated and very cozy.
We had some problems understanding the Roku TV, but the owner was very responsive and attentive to helping us get it set up.
The only room for improvement would be to make more of an effort to make guests feel less like “paying customers”. We have stayed in several VRBO’s and without exception, there have always been complimentary bottled water and snacks to greet us. Of course it is not necessary, but it has always made us feel like we are welcome and valued. In addition, there have always been guest books at the other VRBO’s we rented and we missed seeing one at the Hoot Owl cabin. It is always fun to read about other traveler's experiences.

Nice hosts quick to respond. Very nice cabin closer to the main road and other properties than I expected but still felt secluded. Soft beds, loved the fireplace. Great water pressure except for the shower and the jacuzzi didn't work or I just didn't know how to work it lol Overall would recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at The Hoot Owl cabin! It was the rest and recharge we needed. The cabin was cozy and inviting and we were sad to leave. The owners were easy to communicate with and quick to respond! If you’re needing a nice getaway this is the place to go.

Just saying "Great Place" or "Wonderful Time" does not adequately describe our time here. It is a beautiful, serene property with so much to offer. The trees, the wildlife, and of course the cozy cabin make for an unforgettable stay. Our hosts really care about this property and were very attentive to our questions. We will definitely be back - and not soon enough!

We had an incredible stay. The cabin is beautiful and it’s lovely outside seating was very relaxing. Short drive to eureka springs on a scenic road. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and my wife said we’d definitely be looking to come back!

We were very comfortable in this little cabin. We especially loved catching fireflies around the house in the evening and listening to the summer insect sounds at night. As others have noted, the big bed is incredibly comfortable and my six-year-old son enjoyed the little add-on bedroom in the back. The place felt further from Eureka Springs than advertised, but that was probably because of road construction that narrowed the road to one lane of traffic in two spots before getting there. That construction was, of course, only temporary. We highly recommend popping up across the border into Missouri and visiting Roaring River State Park. There's a grocery store along the way that we thought was more convenient. Overall, a well-priced retreat!

We loved this little cabin! It was in a great location not too far from downtown Eureka Springs and Beaver Lake. Dog friendly which is a huge plus. Of all the places we've stayed near Eureka Springs, this was our favorite. We will definitely be back!

Great location close to all the attractions in Eureka Springs but the cabin still feels very secluded. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. Great overall experience!

This cabin was everything the listing said it was! Great location, secluded and all the comforts of home. There are other cabins on the property, but you would never know it.
The gas long fireplace was an added bonus and we enjoyed having it with the chill that was in the air.
My only advice - bring a truck. It would not have been possible to drive my car to the cabin off the main highway.

If your looking for a place that is off the beaten path but close enough to make the short scenic drive, then this is your place.
We just wanted a place for a little r&r, this place delivers. Bedding and amenities were a definite bonus, no cheap hotel sheets or pillows. Will return in the summer months to enjoy the surrounding lake activities.
