We had a very lovely peaceful stay by the river, didn’t want to leave!

It was very stylish, easy to find as the tuk tuks knew how to get there, had to cross to it in a rowing boat, very charming! Host very welcoming, ordered us food and cold water on arrival! Even though on riverside, not too hot!

Agradable estancia frente el canal

Joseph es un anfitrión muy amable, llegamos muy tarde de madrugada y vino a recogernos de noche al otro lado del canal con su barca. La habitación era bonita, con muy buenas vistas al canal y a un lago que hay detrás, y el desayuno también rico. Se respira paz y tranquilidad, y si quieres realizar alguna actividad en los backwaters, Joseph te ayuda y recomienda 😊

Amazing, clean place on the lake

Amazing property, very clean and quiet by the lake. 10 steps from your room and you'll be in the lake. Decent breakfast and very good service. Value for money 10/10. Property manager called me upfront before check in and guided me throughout. Jaigan and Sukumar both are really helpful

only downside is that it's on the other side of the lake, so you have to cross the river by boat which is not too convenient if you want to travel in and out a lot but Sukumar always ready to help you out.

The hospitality of the staff is amazing and extra ordinary . Very nice welcome with comfortable room. Very traditional old home.

The direction bord is not visible property due to plant leaf. In the mid of the night i get confuseto find way. Found lot of lizards. If you could reduce its numbers it would be more amazing.

Great stay in Alleppey

The staff was very helpful, and arriving at the hotel was a fun experience: we arrived after sunset, and were taken over to the hotel on a little rowboat. The amenities are basic, but more than satisfactory for the price. We were happy with our choice.

If you want to go out and eat, the position can be a little inconvenient. However, the staff was very helpful with ordering take out, so we enjoyed a relaxed and tasteful dinner along the bank of the canal.

Staff were good, but facilities are poor. Almost carried away by mosquitoes when the power supply failed for few hours early AM leaving the rooms super hot.

Power back up like generators are badly required.

Generally speaking, it was satisfactory.

The location is perfect. The resort overlooks the backwaters and you can spend an entire lazy day watching houseboats plying up and down. Interestingly, the resort has a canoe service which is used to pick up and drop vacationers on both sides of the canal, whenever required.

The breakfast time: it is served a little too late. Since we had to leave by 8 am in the morning, we missed out on the breakfast. Also, no bed tea was served in the room.

Exceptional

Peaceful location. All the staff were very caring and super helpful. The manager if knowledgeable about the locality and helped us plan our trip. Off-property parking; the short boat trip to the property adds a nice touch to the stay.

Mesmerising stay

The property is located on the main channel of alleppy and is surrounded by water on both sides ( front and rear). The stay was comfortable and the staff was supportive. They also helped us book a boat ride from the property door! Overall it was a nice experience.

There is no dedicated parking space, you will have to park at a pay-n-park, but the staff will help you with where to park and pay the parking fee. Arrival location is on opposite side of the channel so you will cross the channel through a small dinghy, although I personally enjoyed it, elderly members of my group didn’t like it. These reasons are too small as compared to the overall value the property offers.

Superb

the staff is great. The only thing is for to and fro travel from property to main road you will always need a ferry because in the front there is backwater stream and no road, they will always provide it and always carry you whenever needed so that’s not a big deal. WiFi was good. there are peaceful and chill vibes are it is on an island so no traffic sounds etc.

no road connection so everytime we would travel with boat to cross backwater stream and go on road. they will take you everytime to the other side on the road so no need to worry anyways but a road connectivity would have made it better

(i) Taken Rs. 3000/- as Extra charges for AC. (ii) No receipt was given to any amount even stay charges. (iii) Breakfast provided very low standard and no choice was given.
