Beautiful Forest Accomodation

Beautiful surroundings - lovely, secluded accomodation units overlooking the forest made for a fabulous break away. Very comfortable. Enjoyed swimming at the pool before having supper in the dining area - Oxtail was absolutely divine! The manager was a gem and made the stay very comfortable. Can recommend 👌

Peaceful and tranquility gem at the foothills of Outeniqua mountains.

We had a wonderful stay at ArendsRus. We were greeted by Chandré, the very friendly and helpful receptionist. Our cabin was so beautiful and we really enjoyed all the special treats like the sherry, chocolate truffels, champagne (for my husband's birthday) and the coffee station in the room. Everything was stylish and nice. The setting is very peaceful and the huge gardens and heated swimming pool are kept well-maintained. We also had an excellent dinner at the restaurant. The food was delicious, sumptious and well-prepared by Chandré and she served it for us as arranged by scheduled time. She is really hands-on with everything, always smiling and a gem for this establishment. Our breakfast was hearty and delicious. We will definately visit ArendsRus again in future. Thanks for everybody's contribution to make this short stay of us so memorable and special. Greetings Elmarie & Johann Dempers

Pleasant stay, conveniant location, nice staff.

Excellent steak at the restaurant. Very friendly staff. Nice setting.

Pool was very small. Hikes not very well signposted- we got lost. Not much going on by way of activities.

Mountainview luxury

From the entrance you realise you're entering a tranquil place. The tent was magnificent and the furnishings excellent. Charne the receptionist is just bubbly and so lively. This is a real palace of luxury tents. The staff is very attentive and family friendly. The restaurant has an ambiance par excellence. The food is prepared well and can be served in the unit at no extra charge. There's a picnic platter to die for. Very well priced and excellently presented. The views and aura of the place is just what every soul needs. This is highly recommended for people with very fine taste. There is a heated pool just to top up the luxurious farm living.

That I stayed for a short two nights. This place needs at least 4-5 nights

Schöner ruhiger Aufenthalt

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist super schön. Die Affen kommen bis zum Balkon und sind unterhaltsam und niedlich. Gleich hinter dem Grundstück gibt es verschiedene Wanderwege. Das Frühstück war gut.

A friendly, clean and stunning place to stay. We only wished we had more than one night so we could explore the mountain

This lodge was set in stunning grounds…we had no idea how beautiful the surrounding mountains were as we arrived in the dark. Reception were very accommodating of our late arrival (due to two major road diversions). We had a 2 bedroom lodge and a double room, perfect for an older family of five. The breakfast was lovely too.

Everything about the stay was really nice, the staff was super friendly and quick to attend to our needs. The hot breakfast was fantastic and always on time!

The only thing I would change would be to add a TV to the room. The wifi was a bit slow from time to time. Other than that everything is good!

Tranquil, stunning views, great service from friendly staff. Loved the served breakfast. Cherry on the cake was the Rose petals turn out in the room and welcome drinks.

Very good

Tranquil, lovely, quiet, good value for money. The unit we stayed in was fairly new and overlooking the tree tops. We took our mountain bikes with and could make use of their mtb tracks from the venue. We loved every moment. There were panel heaters in the cabin which kept it nice and cozy warm. Breakfast was included in the price and substantial. Staff are friendly, helpful and really made our stay there special. We made use of the braai facilities in the lounge area for one night and all the utensils, wood, grids and even spice were provided at a fee of R50. We had out own meat. Arendsrus, well done and thank you 😊

No air conditioner in the cabin, but the panel heaters were great. The dining hall was cold in the morning and cushioning on dining chairs must be considered. Infrared heaters in the dining hall will make a world of a difference.

What an amazing experience. I would recommend Arendrus to anybody.

We had such a warm welcoming. All the staff is so friendly and made us feel as if they know us for ages. Our dinner and breakfast was out of this world.

There is absolutely nothing I can complain about.
