Ótimo custo benefício porém deixa a desejar na limpeza

A receptividade e a localização foram os pontos altos do hostel. Região cheia de comércio e próximo da praia. Fácil acesso aos principais pontos turísticos! Roupa de cama limpa!

Limpeza deixou a desejar. Áreas comuns com sujeira acumulada o que era visível falta de limpeza frequente. Banheiros com box/cortina sujos, ralos destampados, interruptores com sujeira que grudava os dedos… No quarto, armários enferrujados e baratas…

Excelente ubicación y calidad de atencion por parte del staff

Las sabanas de las camas, son un poco pequeñas y tienden a salirse durante la noche. Solo eso que mencionar.

Overall a good stay in a youth hostel.

Very good location, the staff was kind and helpful, the common areas had a good atmosphere.

It was very humid so the towels had group drying and you can head everything in the hall through the door.

Badly advertised and unjust.

The location was nice and the lobby. Ghe social aspect as well

Payed for a 6 mixed dorm room. There was another room separated with a door with 4 more people. The door was always open so basically it was like we were 10 in one room and i payed more expensive for a 6 dorm room. Really badly advertised. I recommend avoid this hostel.

The place to stay in Ipanema

Very safe, very social and a cute property with lots of plants and trees as well as outdoor chill out area. Location was great, 3 mins walk to Ipanema Beach.

Great location, helpful staff.

Nice colourful decor with lots of plants. Helpful staff. Allowed us to use lockers (price 10 real each) before and after our stay. Good location near the beach and restaurants.

Loud music in the eating/bar area sometimes. Room was a bit smelly, maybe mothballs.

Nice location and lounge area, Bar with drinks but only until 10 pm (good for noise). Very good vibes

Kitchen closes at 5pm already..we never had the Chance therefore to make dinner. Too many rules like wash your dishes or it will cost you amount X. The Windows are either closed completely with very little Light or open for everyone to look in.

Make sure you book a room with less people in it.

Location is good near beach and plenty of food choices nearby.

The first night they put me in a mixed dormitory and it was very small with 3 bunks in the room. It smelled of body odor - the room was accessed by going through another small room with 6 bunks in it. That room smelled of body odor. The rooms are too small! Also, the walls were dirty - do they ever wash the walls?

It was a great 3 nights at Mango Tree.

The rooms were nice and comfortable, and bathrooms are clean and the staff was lovely and helpful. I would stay there again :)

I don’t like that there is no restaurant and they also close the kitchen at 5pm so you can’t cook after 5.

paid a service fee - not sure what for when we had to do our own bedsheets and bring them down, then pay to use the lockers to store our luggage. not a very social atmosphere and super uncomfortable beds

The location near the beach was great.

Common kitchen closes at 5pm for guests but staff continued using kitchen well after this, a very unfair rule when a kitchen is advertised. Room had a damp odor and shared bathroom was very far from the room.

The hostel is at a very good location. You can easily meet people. The common area is quite cute

The rooms were very tiny and the lockers and beds were super noisy. I stayed with someone who worked there and even this person did not try to limit how much noise they made. It was not super clean and there were little bathrooms. There was often noise till very late in the common area. I would reccomend this hostel if you just want to party and do not care about sleep much.

great if you are a surfer! otherwise it’s ok

it’s super close to one of the best beaches in Rio

they room was tiny with 6 beds. no space to move. the room was also very noisy, right on the street! the kitchen is also super tiny!

Super fun and enjoyable experience!

This hostel is in a great location in Ipanema, a great hostel for meeting people and the staff were super friendly & helpful with a lot of hostel planned events! Great vibe all round

The kitchen was decent but most of the hobs didn’t work and fridge was wayy too full - awkward as it got a little overcrowded at points. (Need another fridge and to fix the hobs)

With some tweaks it has lots of potential to become one of the best hostels in Rio

The staff was great! Supportive, attentive and friendly! Always trying to make us feel home. The common areas are great as well! Lots of space to chill and have some drinks. Furthermore, even if you're a solo traveler you won't feel alone here.

Comfort and sleeping were the two main problems... The room I stayed in was tight and disorganized. Once the lights were turned on it'd point straight at our faces. It's not just the hostel's fault though... The guests should behave better themselves :D Kitchen closes too soon

Big common area outside and inside. Great to meet new people and hang out. The stuff speaks English and is super friendly and helpful. The location in Ipanema is perfect for the beach / sunset. Big kitchen and clean bathrooms. Overall loved the Hostel.
