Excellent base for Doolin town and surrounding areas

Excellent accommodation, very spacious and well equipped. Carpets and towels were very luxurious and it was very close to shops and eateries

For a two might stay the property met all our needs. I would recommend it as a nice place to stay in Doolin.

Pleasant, picturesque, over far too quickly. Must remember to wear sunscreen next time

The lodge was very spacious with more amenities than I even needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and if they couldn’t resolve my issue themselves on the spot they supplied me with contacts and recommendations of people who could. I was waking distance to many locations and the atmosphere and view really incentivized walking. Lovely people.

I wasn’t able to access the WiFi in my lodge and there were some locations that I couldn’t even get cellular reception. But speaking with people the spotty reception is a known thing and wasn’t that onerous. I imagine that hurdle will only shrink with time.

Location ideal, within walking distance to hotels and Doolin village. Perfectly clean, great facilities and appliances provided. Really great for group bookings

Check out was early at 10am, would prefer later check out time.

lighting in sitting room .v dark when we switched light on .. heating hard to control...tv cd only get 3 stations.... lamp bulb upstairs broken..needs a bolt on downstsirs loo door. cd do with little side tables in sitting room .

Dissatisfied customers

Very cold house. Needed to be heated up . No warmness at all about house. En suite shower not working in morning. Got messsge from reception saying shower was at cold position. Really. I'm not stupid. I tried it both ways and it DID NOT GET HOT. We ( group of 4 mature adults) would definitely not stay again or recommend. .considering we paid over ,,€700 for 2 nights 28th and 29th Dec. The least you'd expect is a warm comfortable house.

Did not like much about house. Electric showers a necessary addition.

Lovely comfortable house to allow us to enjoy Doolin

Large comfortable house with all the fixtures, fittings and appliances you need

Strict checkout time given bins need to be emptied etc

Superb

The location was so central but peaceful. The atmosphere was very laid back and the restaurant at the Fiddle and Bow served high quality food. We also loved the outside area at The Fiddle and Bow. It had a real holiday vibe. The views from the bedroom window were lovely too and the house was well equipped and spacious. We were only a fairly short drive from one of Ireland's most stunning beaches, Fanore, with breathtaking scenery along the way.

The morning before we left the smoke alarm went off at 4.45 am, so it was difficult to get back to sleep. The outside seating area was nice, with 2 picnic benches but was not very private.

Lovely place walking distance to everything in Doolin; would stay again!

Lovely 3 bedroom lodge on a small street attached to hotel. Felt like a home rather than a place to stay for a few nights. large eat in kitchen. Big sitting room with comfy couches.
