The concierge service was exceptional, and the hotel's layout added a welcoming touch. I also particularly enjoyed the Sumoji Restaurant's delightful cuisine and the comfort of the well-maintained rooms. However, these satisfactory aspects were unfortunately overshadowed by the less than accommodating attitude of the hotel management, making my stay very far from enjoyable.
I am writing this review to express my profound dissatisfaction with my recent stay at this hotel, which proved to be the least customer-friendly experience I've ever had. I am from a country with daily withdrawal limits and had informed the hotel about this situation upon check-in – and offered my passport as collateral at the beginning of my stay, which they kept.
When the time came to pay, I encountered an extraordinary situation. While in the middle of a work call, the General Manager started pressuring me, threatening to have me removed by security. As I said, they already kept my passport, and yet I was still treated with such unprofessionalism.
During the call, they went as far as to confiscate my phone as a form of collateral. This disruption not only inconvenienced me professionally but was also a stark violation of my personal boundaries. Later in the evening, I found myself having to exchange my laptop for my phone, just so I could go to the ATM. This was an absolute absurdity and an experience I never imagined I would encounter at a supposedly reputable establishment.
However, despite this outrageous incident, I am not a person to hold grudges and I did actually like the hotel. Therefore, I wanted to extend my stay for another four days – given that I had already been staying there for about a week and had paid for everything.
After settling my outstanding bill, I expressed my intent to extend my stay and assured them that I would be able to withdraw more money later that evening. Despite having just witnessed me pay my outstanding bill, they flatly refused to accommodate my request, demonstrating an astonishing lack of flexibility and understanding.
This hotel has proved itself to be decidedly un-customer-friendly. I have never encountered such a situation before – the service here is worse than that of a two-star hotel, or so I assume.
Please take my experience as a cautionary tale before you consider booking a stay at this hotel.

The bed was the most comfortable one I've ever slept in. The room was very clean and tidy, including the bathroom.
I would've liked some cereal (not just chocolate and sugar cereals for kids) and milk for breakfast (a Western breakfast).
