What a fantastic gem of a hotel, extremely friendly, food quality food and location.

The Dylan was very clean, the staff was extremely helpful, and the room was very nice and well equipped with robes, a towel warmer, and a quality Nespresso coffee maker. These additional touches contributed to a very pleasant stay

An elegant and discreet Hotel. Beautiful entrance and terrace.

The room was great, the staff was wonderful!

Loved this cute boutique hotel. Convenient to area and shops.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t even let me order my own cab and had it there before I took my phone out! Great breakfast. Incredible service.

This was my third or fourth stay at The Dylan and was unfortunately disappointing. For some reason, I was assigned a disabled room, which had a pretty awful bathroom—low sink, messy shower curtains, shabby toilet with a loose seat—and low water pressure in the shower.
It might have been okay if I actually were disabled but it was a far inferior room compared to the other times I stayed.
As usual, the service was friendly and staff were helpful and attentive. I also ate dinner at the restaurant, which was fine.
This experience means it’s probably the last time I’ll stay at The Dylan.

Stayed one night, excellent location, the staff were very helpful. The hotel had everything one would want or need. Lovely bar, chill out areas. The food was great. I would recommend the Dean for ayone visiting dublin.

Lovely hotel with very nice and attentive staff!

Superb stay from start to finish with a fantastic professional team the whole way through. Bravo guys!
The only negative thing I would say is that I found the main restaurant uncomfortably cold for dinner and breakfast. I can’t fault the top class food but did go to my room for a Willy jumper!
We will be back!

The staff at Dylan Hotel was incredible! They were extremely accommodating and super friendly. It was clean, safe and the amenities were great. Even when there was a small problem in my room with the toilet, they had me moved to the next room within 15 minutes and were overly apologetic. The bedding was sooo good! They gave great recommendations for local bars. Fully staffed all night. Coordinated taxis to the airport with prompt service. I could not be happier with my choice of places to stay in Dublin!

The Dylan is lovely…. Welcoming with older elegant comfort, bright roomy rooms and attentive staff.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly - breakfast was superb.

Very clean and welcomes service dogs and perhaps other dogs too. Very original decor. Downsides were lack of hot water, expense, slow service and no real parking facilities except rather expensive valet parking with limited access. It was also very hard to find, the lack of any real signing , while in some ways welcome in these days of brash advertising, does not help you to find the place if you’re driving there.

Everything was amazing! Even took care of our exceptional request of early checkin.

Room was tight and lacked any space for personal items. Bathroom had no shelf. A/c was ineffective. Bar/service staff were arguing about a $20 tip. It was embarrassing and annoying. They obviously did not care that customers were present. Then they started speaking louder in a foreign language. It was what I would have expected in a two star hotel.

Stayed 3 nights. Noise every morning from 7am by builders. No warning and no apology for the inconvenience. In fact when I reported the problem every morning to reception on site staff - my complaint was ignored and on day 2 I was advised they might be finished but maybe not. No offer of appeasement e.g. change to another room. Before I came to stay I had to amend my booking to stay a 3rd night which when I called to make this extra booking I had to pay a higher charge for the night. I have stayed by choice in the Dylan more than 5 times previously. I will have to seriously think before I stay here again

This hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed. I loved the staff as they were so kind and polite. The room is extremely comfortable and clean. The only thing is the area is a bit far from center if you have kids but I am still so happy and will come back.

We stayed on Christmas Eve at the tail end of our tour around Ireland. The staff went above and beyond to create magic for our girls, wrapping a gift for them to unwrap and providing cookies. They even helped Santa to continue a holiday pajama tradition with stealth. The hotel is beautiful and well kept. I will definitely book again.

Our initial thoughts were mixed as we had an older room with a bed that was not up to standard. The room clearly needed refurbushment and the air conditioning didnt work. We mentioned this to the Duty Manager after the first night and her response was almost overwhelming, she could not do enough to address our concerns. We were moved to a new room that was vastly superior to the first room, a superb bed and air conditioning that worked. Following this response from the Duty Manager our view of the Dylan went from "maybe not return" to an unequivocal "we will be back"(albeit we will make sure we get one of the new rooms.). Lovely hotel massive seating area for relaxing and meetings, staff simply amazing. Definitely worth the price.
4.5
First room was small andnot worthy of the price charged but we were moved to a much nicer room although the bathroom was tiny
Reception staff helpful but you rarely saw the same person twice. Breakfast staff pleasant but poorly trained. Is there anyone in overall charge… manager… ?? No evidence of anyone other than in breakfast room where a general manager was rushed off his feet!!!

Booked and paid for a suite back in July for a weekend in November to be told at 4:30pm on the day of arrival that our room was not available as they overbooked and that we were going to be downgraded. We were told we would be compensated with either complimentary breakfast, complimentary valet, a complimentary upgrade if we chose to stay again another time. So disappointed with the phone call, driving 2 1/2 hours to arrive to be told that valet parking was full and we could pay for valet parking anyway that evening and she would run it past her manager in the morning, as we were not getting the valet parking we said no and parked on the street.
Our room was located on the 2nd floor ‘Deluxe’ room, this room was not a 5* standard room which was located beside the lift which may aswel have been in our room with the noise of it every time it was called!
We spoke with the manager on site and advised how unhappy we were, he was lovely and provided us with a Refund for our weekend as it was not the standard that we had signed up for. I wouldn’t rate this hotel as a 5* hotel but the staff member I dealt with was brilliant and extremely helpful

Very very friendly.

Bit of drama on check in about a €50 deposit in case I damage the room. Makes little sense for a supposedly 5 star Hotel at ~€300/night.
Having a foreign debit card would mean paying €20 in bank fees and commissions to meet this requirement. Explained to manager but she still insisted on €50 cash which, honestly, seems a little bit of a cheap move for a hotel that positions itself in the higher bracket of hoteliers. It somehow implies that the guest might run out on the bill. There isn’t even a minibar - just an empty fridge..
I ordered room service. I then got a call back a minute later to take it again as she had forgotten. Fine, no problem, but then after confirming it twice, I get my order less two items I had ordered but with the bill for all of them and cold food.
I called room service again and ordered a different item. The French gentleman handled it very well apologising for the error. All in all, a little sloppy for a 5 star hotel.
I was in room 104 next to the lifts. It was noisy outside every time a door opened and slammed shut. If it was a simple guesthouse, I could understand but a little surprising given where we were.
The coffee machine had pods but no milk anywhere in the room. Odd.
I was glad to be leaving and really just felt like the reception needs some training in customer service.
