I was disappointed in the Double Tree hotel: specifically the bathroom. It was a large room without any usable shelves . There were 2 small skinny glass shelves attached to wall by sink. Top one was pulling away from wall so anything placed on it would slide off to the floor. The bottom shelf had the soap dish, leaving enough room for toothpaste and toothbrush (for one person, we booked for two adults.we booked 3 nights so needed a place for toiletries (shaving bag and women’s personal items.). The shower head was difficult to use as every time the handheld shower head was used your hair was soaked in trying to reattach it and it kept falling off and sprayed water all over including the floor. There was cracked tile and missing tile at bathtub. The lobby coffee was a charge and no coffee in the room. Not a pleasant experience. The bed was comfortable. The carpet was dirty. Not hotel we will book again, and give second thoughts about booking one in other cities.

289 rooms. 2 accessible parking spaces on site. Over 20 on site Valet Only spaces (@ $18). About 6 (IIRC) EV Only spaces on site. Everyone else crosses the street and pays. “Curlies” in the bathtub. Toilet bowl loose to floor. Coffee FOR FEE in Lobby.

They stay was good however, the lady who works the front desk at night is very rude. I just feel like if this is the job you are choosing to do then don’t be rude doing it. There is someone out there that might do the job better if you don’t like it. Find something that you like so your not rude to other people.

Bugs… questionable area…. Noisy train almost every hr!!! Why do you have to blast your horn every hour!!!! 3rd floor north or south side, you can hear it, 10th floor… you can hear it… can’t get away…. But at least I had a nice sunrise since I could t sleep!

The hotel was excellent. Staff ready and willing to assist. Valet parking at $17/ day was high… only alternative was across street in public parking. Was told it was not as safe as valet. An unexpected tax was added to the bill for each day. First night very loud music until 9 pm. Community affair in downtown area directly next to hotel. Train ran entire two nights all night long (second night not as frequently as first)… very disturbing…very hard to sleep. Guests should be told beforehand. Great place but annoying uncontrollable noise. Sorry. Do not show my name.

Very old property, room has strong smell - probably it was a smoking room before, so does hall way. Bed/pillow are not very comfortable, air conditional was very loud when it was on :( No parking lot, need to park cross street for $12. Parking ticket did not work when I tried to exit, needed to find an attendant to help to exit the parking garage.

I like that it is close to downtown and the Amtrak station. The buffet breakfast was great. Very comfy bed and pillows. I stayed in a suite to avoid too much noise. That didn’t happen. I could hear the person in the room next to me on the phone and could hear doors in the hallway closing loudly. I could hear the phone ring in the room across from me.

Fairly new property located near city hall, entertainment, and restaurants all within walking distance. Negative. Located adjacent railroad tracks. Blaring train horns at 4 AM. Scene right out of My Cousin Vinny. No free parking (12 bucks a day). No cleaning services. informed housecleaning to come later in the morning. They never showed.

Clean hotel, friendly staff and nice bar. Room was clean and nice, bed was comfy. Only complaint is the train station is right across the street. Train whistles throughout the night kept waking me up— ask for earplugs and you should be good!
