Hotel was appropriately priced--not fancy but ok. Rooms were clean. Loved the check-in process where I didn't have to stop at the front desk (as they were busy). Shuttle process worked very well and was timely. Staff at restaurant were accommodating (let me purchase just oatmeal and poured the free coffee for me). I would come back to this hotel.

Peaceful and close. Staying there the night before leaving out of Reagan Airport was a wise move.

My daughter and I were stranded unexpectedly after a flight delay caused us to miss our connection. Nice hotel, close to the airport, convenient shuttle, lovely staff.

it was very nice and we were thankful to upgrade to penthouse, but the elevator didnt work and it smell bad in our room
0.5 / 5.0
The room smelled like cigarettes all night long. There was a woman screaming for hours outside of the room and car alarms going off. The screaming sounded like a domestic issue.

The room was a lot bigger than I expected. It was immaculate and the staff was very friendly and efficient.

The hotel offers parking at $42/ day which is higher than other hotels in the area. Street parking, which is safe, is available for$12/ day. Also the hotel places a
$300 hold on your credit card upon check in.

I love the room but I’m not sure who idea it was to put my room right next to the elevator. I could not sleep due to the loud noise of people entering and leaving the elevator.

Very convenient and cost-effective

There were stains on the carpet in two areas in our room. Also, the front desk attendant at check in, asked me to go out and get my license plate #. When I returned, he was gone and my drivers license and credit card were sitting on the front of the counter in plain view. (I had handed them to him at his request). But food in the restaurant was excellent and other employees were kind and helpful.

This facility is somewhat mixed. It is part new (bathrooms, walls in rooms) and part old (hallways, doors). They did a makeover but the old is still there too. Great location with easy access to Metro, Pentagon City Mall, restaurants. Found it to be a bit funky. For example, you have to pay extra for breakfast. It says $5 on the website but you have to order a package that allows you to cancel right up to the day before and that is like $15 a day including the breakfast. You can't get the breakfast alone. And if you just show up for breakfast with no dining card it is $25 for a buffet. One of the buffet hostesses goes into great detail in telling you how to leave a tip, then says you don't have to leave a tip. Found it odd that they solicits tips when it's a buffet--no waiting on tables. Had a larger room but it had the same furniture as the smaller rooms, just a little wider. Most "junior suites" have a dining table. Not this place, You have to eat at the desk or hold your meal in your lap. Like I said. A funky kind of place though the overall price is good.

The card key was not programmed for the garage so caused much inconvenience. The body wash was at the basin and hand wash was in the shower.

Great Location for flying in and out of DCA. Shuttle was easy. The only downside are the available food options to walk to. I did UberEats and it was fine.

There was a light that kept flashing in our room the entire night. The room is very loud from the air conditioner and the road noise. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable.

My room was in the back on the second floor and that floor had access through a big window to a flat roof. On my last morning I came out of the bathroom wearing a towel after my shower and disrobed to get dressed only to look over and see a worker staring into my room at my naked body!!!!! WHAT THE HELL???? I was never warned, my curtains were open to let in the morning light... I was very glad to be leaving.
On other notes:
Everyone relies on technology and the connections in the room for technology charging were very loose and most didn't connect. The AC heated up during the night and made it difficult to sleep. The safe was broken and would not lock so I had to keep my valuables with me as I traveled the area on foot.
This is not a safe area, I do not know how on Expedia it received such a high rating. There was a fight between what looked like gangs 2 buildings over, construction on every corner made it impossible to stay on the sidewalks while walking, homeless laid on the sidewalks right outside the hotel.
It's amazing how much safer one feels one block away. I do not recommend this hotel as a single woman on her own. If you want to stay in the area, do not go away from Crystal Street. When I come back to DC I will not be staying in this area, I will be further out such as Alexandria or closer to the city, such as Pentagon City or down by the Wharf.

I like the hotel itself, but the staff were not nice, seemed irritated. The breakfast was expensive! Area near the hotel seemed sketchy—curb store, strip club, etc.

Staff was great, we liked how big the fitness room was. Room was clean when we got there, aircon worked well too. We went out for the day, came back around 4:30pm and the room was not cleaned, was a little disappointed about that. But it was fine as we were leaving the next day. The stairwells were not very clean though, even the stairwell to the parking lot. It was dusty, random balls of dust and hair in the corners. The keycard for the room is a little tricky too. Sometimes to open the doors I had to swipe or tap the keycard multiple times to the sensor. The lobby was spacious so when I would order Uber eats there was plenty of space to sit and you could spot the delivery driver easily.

Excellent location helpful and pleasant staff.

Other than being placed in a room with ALL NIGHT traffic going by, keeping us both awake all night, a coffee maker that would not work, a bed as stiff as a board, cheap bed linens and toilet paper so thin that it made tissue paper feel thick - what was not to love!
NEVER AGAIN!

Our room was neat and chilled. 90 plus outside. The bathroom was spotless and new.

If the property had included parking that would have made it better. Parking was overpriced ridiculous. I would not stay there again

We went to the bar for happy hour food and drinks. Bill gave us excellent service.

The area across the hotel is undergoing construction and there is 1-2 min delay due to traffic signals. Free Coffee and Tea (hotwater tea bags) in the morning at the lobby. It is overall a fine place. Uber ride to White House is about $20. But the hotel wanted $42 tax for parking each night, outrageous! I don't use Reagon Washington National Airport, so I don't use its shuttle.
