The bed was comfortable. The toilet got clogged and my husband had to use the plunger to unplug it. It is getting run down. Needs updates inside.

The outside is getting remodeled, from other reviews looks like this has been ongoing quite awhile. Room was clean enough, toilet ran exceptionally long after being flushed, to the point I went back in to jiggle the handle to see if that would stop it. I had a 4 hour licensing test I was taking the next morning so I really needed sleep. That didn’t happen. The elevator was on the other side of my wall. There were frequent loud thud sounds and dragging sounds that I really noticed between 11pm -2am. I couldn’t tell if it was the elevator, the employee only room across from mine or if they were doing construction inside the hotel somewhere. I was looking for another hotel to pack up and stay at..at 1am. I would consider this the worst hotel stay I have ever had. Just because the whole reason I stayed at a hotel was so I could get as much sleep as I could and not have to miss sleep from driving so far in the morning. I would’ve been better off to get up the 2.5 hours early since I missed more sleep than that with the noise.

We got robbed at your so called hotel.. windows smashed out of truck.. stole stuff from our truck .. bigtime dump . .. will never stay at a America inn hotel again . Worst night of our lives . That place is anything but American .

The picture does not look like the hotel. There were no signs, so it was hard to find, and they are in the process of remodeling the outside. The rooms had a smell, and the bed was hard. It was okay to stay one night and keep driving. You might want to invest in a sign so people can see where the hotel is!

Cons: older hotel, not fresh smell when entered our room, back door to parking did not work with card. Pros: room very clean, beds very comfortable, staff very friendly, excellent breakfast area and choice, eggs, sausage, fruit, cold cereal, waffle maker, juice, coffee, yogurt, more. Will stay again!

Inside is dirty. Carpets are stained. Bathroom floor had white tile with dirt ground into the texture. Staff were polite They are working on the outside so maybe the inside is next

I don't understand the average review rate... My room was strongly smelling cigarette even if it is supposed to be non-smoking room and it was not that clean. At the breakfast there were no more eggs and regular coffee. The only employee I saw seemed too busy to take care of all these details. The AC was so so. I understand it's under renovations but they don't even seem to try to make up for that. On the positive side it was quiet until about 7:30 when the construction workers started. The young lady at the check-in seemed friendly. Even if the price is low, I think they can do better...

The hotel was fine for a quick stay. There is construction going on and the bathroom was a little worn out. However the room was clean although the window AC never did quite cool it down enough. The breakfast was your average hotel breakfast. All in all it was fine and I'm glad we got it for a good price.

I didn't see any Security and the building roof was under construction. One night the power went out when it rained, and we had to sleep in hot rooms. Nobody came around to even check on us when the power was out for about 3 to 5 hours.

Room was not in my opinion up to LaQuinta Hotel standards. Even they are newly modified to LaQuinta hotel chain. Third floor- the floor was not flat and I felt unsafe to even walk on some areas of the room as the floor felt like it moved. Bed and towels both had hair still on them,(I’m bald and have no hair) I asked for new sheets and pillows. They wasn’t too happy about that. Bathroom- had a long hair on the sink and in shower? Bed was not too bad. Maybe it was the 1inch foam mattress topper but I could sleep

The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was good with nice variety. Very clean and well stocked. The property was undergoing some improvements but this didn’t hinder our stay. Great hosts! Area hotels didn’t seem as quality but would definitely stay there again!

The property is in need of repairs. The rooms were spacious enough but did not seem very clean. The bathroom tub was stained, and the curtains were very dusty. The hotel allows animals, so there was some barking at night. The air conditioning was also very loud and inefficient.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the fridge in our room wasn't working but we only realized the next morning when my baby's milk was warm. They ended up changing our room that day to help the situation. The hotel looks updated in pictures but the bathrooms all need renovation. I booked here to save money but next time I'll spend the extra 100 for the holiday inn

Property is in much need of an upgrade. I’ve never stayed at a Wyndham property this rundown so that was a disappointment. But it was clean and staff was fine. Area seemed safe.

Excellent location at the Wanamaker St facing Sam’s Club. The Reception Area was terrible, I mean behind it was the laundry room and the door stays open!!!! Breakfast l could say less than average and not well presented. Unfortunately, it was a bad choice…

A place on the extreme decline — a genuine death-spiral. A once great Marriott, with tarp banner covering the old name. In other words, the owners OBVIOUSLY didn’t want to keep it up to a Marriott standard, so they dropped the name and ALL obligations associated with it.

The AmericInn was overall very clean. The staff was friendly. The room was very clean, including the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Closet area was large with hangers. Breakfast was included, with scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, english muffins, assorted juice, and more. Not as fancy as some hotels, but a bargain price!

It was nice clean room, there was only issue with toilet not flushing but after calling front desk. They sent a worker to fix it right away. Overall good experience, after two days of driving it was peaceful night sleep. I recommend this place.

The bathroom has moldy walls, which in turn made it smell kinda moldy. There were some bugs crawling around (beetles and little black bugs of some sort), microwave plate had food on it, and the pool area was so humid it was almost unbearable. The good was, they were very friendly at check in and check out, they were apologetic when i took the plate to ask them to clean it, and the beds were pretty comfortable. The breakfast area was very thin down also, with watered down eagle mix, a very old waffle maker, and the meat and eggs just didn't look good. There was rice crispies and corn flakes cereal and a few bagels and toast.
