My trip with my family at the Westin Southfield was AMAZING thank you to the staff Ms.Latrice a manager at the front desk was amazing her entire staff was amazing I appreciate all that they do every time I stay.

The staff at the check in/out were not very friendly. The was no microwave in the room. We were unable to use the jacuzzi during the ADULT hour due to about a dozen kids in there. The adult hour should be enforced!!

Was an absolute train wreck. AC wouldn't get the room below 70 degrees but Andrea at the front desk was beyond helpful. Definitely wouldn't stay there again. The pool was pretty gross and food for my fiance, daughter and I for dinner was 80 plus just for a couple burgers and dry chicken strips.... Breakfast was good and maybe if you're a business person this would be suitable but definitely a bit disappointed. Overall we tolerated it and it's pretty nice on the inside but this is the first hotel I've been in in 20 years and just definitely not worth the 240 dollars a night they wanted. Due to the issue with the AC we received half of thanks to Andrea but the male supervisor definitely got extremely defensive about the issues and questioned me alot about why I didn't contact management which I did and the maintenance engineer told me everything was working properly so maybe close the windows to see if it would cool the room and it didn't. It raised the temp. Luckily we had a fan from camping and we had that to use. Overall nice neighborhood. If you are a family find something different this is definitely not the best for that type of stay.

Stayed for my son’s birthday weekend. Room was nice was great and spacious. Pool and hot tub where not cleaned the best and always having to ask for towels. Saturday morning front desk lady was rude I paid for breakfast credit for Saturday and Sunday morning, this was verified when I checked in Friday afternoon. Went and got drinks Saturday morning and the lady told I used up my credit I said yes for today I need my card back for tomorrow credit and she told me no you get anything else. She was the only rude one everyone else was great. Room service was nice and even the housekeepers, when I asked for just a few extra towels. For the price I paid I felt the pool could have been better and more options to grab something quick with my credit, but won’t be a hotel I stay at again. Sunday morning my 9 year old was woken up to a large drink half naked party not pleased with that, not the way he should wake up for his 9th birthday.

This hotel did not meet the standards of Westin . The carpet in the rooms were old and dirty. Bathrooms were outdated and the shower was so small.. And the restaurant was very nice and kept up todate . Coffee machine and the phone to contact both the lobby did not work. This hotel could use a major update in their rooms.

The overall experience was okay. The bed was too hard and I had to get a key card from the front desk and the lady gave me a bit of an attitude. The story is long so I’ll spare the details.

For the most part, it was great. Two issues: 1) Wifi service was poor to non-functional both in-room (7th floor) and in lobby/restaurant. Poor signal strength, very slow to log on, low speed of data transfer. 2) Booking through Expedia means you can't check in online on BonVoy without calling the Westin call center to straighten it out.

The property is in a quiet area and the rooms and common areas are well maintained. The hotel is a modern steel, brick and glass building. The interior has a modern presence in the lobby area. The hotel bar needs longer hours as they close early. The rooms are large and clean, the decor is dated. The customer service is pleasant and informative. I would recommend staying here as it has easy access to the various highways.

So This Place Can Be aesthetically pleasing, but they need to do a shampoo of the carpet in the room move sofas and chairs when vacuuming to make sure the whole room is clean. As for properties of the hotel the drawer was busted and would not stay closed The tub was a little dingy looking, but I wear shower slides to shower when in this situation. They Tried to accommodate my issue, which was because I found my sheets with stains and reported it and asked for clean sheets and I was given that with a breakfast coupon. The breakfast bar wasn’t too bad. I’ll give it a 3.5 out of five. The staff was nice. The area was quiet. The hotel area was quiet. Over all Stay was a 3.5 Out of 5.

The waiter Sam in the restaurant was AMAZING! He was so attentive & personable. Front desk forgot to give us our breakfast passes for stay which I had paid $80 in advance for, so the waiter had me go & get them to eat breakfast the next morning. I had requested & was promised a double bed room due to my sister being 8 months pregnant & was put in a king bed room due to over booking.The tub had hair in it. The indoor walkway carpet from the parking garage to the elevators was filthy/black. I was told that 1 night would be credited back due to all the issues, only to find out that I was charged full price.

Very safe - great food at Tangos - nice short walk to Coldstone Creamery - only problem was traffic noise since we were on highway side.
