Room was dated but decently clean. No channels on the TV. Toilet ran constantly & bed squeaked like rusted metal. You could hear people in the hallway at all hours of the night. Barely slept. When talking to the front desk, they just repeated you and acted like they didn't understand. Restaurant was closed. No breakfast offerings. They had a coffee bar but it looked like dirty water.

Hotel is average. Their onsite restaurant was not available, we had to go to the hotel next door for their restaurant. All you hear is planes all night, which is what you get for wanting to stay so close to the airport. Unsure if they had breakfast as we had to leave at 2am so I am unable to comment on that. If I was staying in Detroit ever again to catch a flight, think I'll spend the extra money and stay at the hotel next door, that had way more to offer than this hotel

Re routed to Detroit due to Florida Hurricane. Last minute booking, close to airport and very reasonably priced. Planned one one night stay, turned into three and the property was great. It exceeded our expectations for sure. Learned more expensive not necessary! We are very comfortable and finally going home tomorrow. Thanks Radisson!!!!

We stayed for one night. Shuttle service was good and the checkin/out was smooth and quick. The phone didn’t work in our room and there was no hand soap in the bathroom. Was clean, but showing signs of hard use.

Bed was very uncomfortable, floors filthy, no hand soap, toilet and sink ridiculously low. Online rating is not accurate by any means

Convenient location for airport access. Friendly staff. Dated, but still clean and comfortable.

Upon arrival to the room I noticed several blotches of what appeared to be pet hair clustered all over the floor. After further inspection the blotches of what I thought was pet hair was actually artificial hair (weave). I contacted the front desk in the morning, due to it being late and a long line at check-in. I was told by the front desk that it would be taken care of, but it wasn’t.

I won’t stay at any Radisson ever again.

Won't stay here again places run down stains all over the carpet stains on the chair in the room, one ice machine on the 5th floor and third floor ice machine the third floor didn't even work after they told me to go use the ice machine on the third floor and you could tell that thing hasn't been used in a long time. The beds I feel like you're sleeping on cardboard boxes mini fridge in the room didn't work air conditioner wasn't working right. We stayed in one room for about an hour and went downstairs and complained it was so terrible so we ended up getting moved to another room the other room was a little better I believe the people cleaning the place are trying their best because it looked like it was cleaned but just worn the sheets look clean but the blankets did not we took the blankets off the bed just use the sheets did not get very much sleep we showed up late and left early it served its purpose for us to sleep but the wife and I woke up many a times with noises just an overall not a bad experience will not stay there again there's better hotels for like $20 more a night I recommend to pay the extra 20. By the way I thought it said free breakfast all you get is free coffee everything else they want you to pay for. I stayed in a lot of hotels used to do a lot of traveling this right here top three or four worst hotels I've stayed in.

Tub was dirty

This place was so dirty, first room someone had used the bathroom, blood was in the restroom, and body fluids from a man was on one of the headboards, the second room, which no better, blood in the bathroom, the clerk should have looked it over since she went there with me, I was then over changed by 60 dollars , then I was upset, police was called

It was disappointing that the restaurant inside the hotel was closed but understandable since Radisson just acquired the property. Overall a nice stay.

Due to the reviews, my husband and I traveled to Detroit for a quick weekend trip and decided to stay at the Radisson Detroit Metro. Since our flight landed early, I wanted to see if we could check in early. The phone# 734-729-9000 provided online does not work. We Stopped by the hotel to see if early check-in was an option. It wasn't, but that was not a big deal.
The Bad
The pool is not functional; The shower water was lukewarm, and only 1 elevator works. The bolt lock did not work. Housekeeping did not clean the room at all Saturday. My husband had to take out the garbage, and I had to go to the receptionist for fresh towels and garbage bags. Also, neither of our key cards worked and had to be replaced. Sunday at 8:00 am, housekeeping woke us up trying to gain access to the room. Check-out is at 11:00am. I understand the hotel is under new management, but that is no excuse.
On a good note, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and all the receptionist were accommodating and pleasant.

Everything A ok for the price, only thing missing is the breakfast.

was in late and out too early to observe outside of hotel or have breakfast.

Overall, my state was good, but they said they had an indoor pool when we got there. The indoor pool was not in service. It looked like they were doing some construction work. It was dirty and I was never notified before I booked it or when I got to the property that they did not have the pool open.

We needed a place to sleep for the night and this worked out just fine.

Room was clean and check in was fast. However, was extremely disappointed that the bar and restaurant were closed. I stay at Radisson Hotels because of the service provided. Food that was available in the lobby refrigerator was burritos from a vending machine. Ice machine on the third floor was out of service, and the same for one of the lobby elevators. Using one Shuttle service for multiple hotels is unsat. We left over 15 people at the Clarion waiting for the next Shuttle.

We didn't stay because in spite of a confirmed stay with Hotels.com, the hotel did not show us having a reservation and they were fully booked. So we never got a room and spent the night in the airport. Hotels.com is insisting we "rate our stay" even though I have contacted their virtual agent and told them we didn't stay and need a refund, so here's my review.

Long wait for shuttle without Radisson on the van, 45 minutes to check in at midnight, small bed vs advertisement.

For the price, the hotel isn’t bad. Very outdated, needs modernization. The hotel was clean, but the pool was out of service. Very small and limited continental breakfast. The room we stayed in was tidy, beds were ok. Tv was from the 90’s. Toilet seat was not secured/half off and very slow to flush. I didn’t feel comfortable using it for a “#2” and used the lobby instead. We noticed long lines to check in after our arrival. The receptionist seemed possibly new and overwhelmed.

Both front desk people I talked to were very nice and helpful, but they were new, so they had limited knowledge. The hotel definitely needs some updating, repairs, and maintenance. The elevator was broken, breakfast or any meals were unavailable, and the blinds in my room were broken. There was only one desk clerk on duty at a time, and every time I walked by, there was a very long line.

This hotel is the definition of Mid. The bar/rest was closed. The check in line was 4-5 families deep at 11pm. The staff was nice and cordial despite some frustrated people. Don’t let the Raddison name fool you, it’s more like Motel 8.

Seems like they really need more help. Only one person for a busy checkin.

Walking up to the hotel there was about 60 people in line to check in, after their flight was cancelled. We waited over an hour and a half to get to the front desk. Then they couldn’t find our reservation… after showing the receipt that it was paid in full, she ran another credit card charge on us. After almost two hours after midnight we got into our room.
The room was good, bed was comfy and nice. Coming down for the shuttle the next morning everything went very smooth.

Had many issues;
- the first was the check-in person couldn't find my reservation.
-they had no restaurant open inside the hotel, it was being renovated, this also meant no breakfast either.
-the bathroom cabinets have paint chipping under the sink area, doesn't look very up to date.
-the day of my check out the housekeeper literally knocked on my door every 30min to see if i had checked out starting at 0730! The 4th time I got pissed and said please communicate with your front desk to see when I check out! She still asked what time are you leaving? I felt like i was being pushed out so she could clean and go home. I will never stay at another Radisson again.

Great support and accommodations can’t wait to return the shuttle drivers are phenomenal and a key part to the success of the hotel.
