Visited the hotel for the 1st time in 2022 and refuse to look at any other hotel. Clean, quiet, professional. Extra shout out to the guys up front; the valets and supporting staff.

The property was immaculate. Service was excellent. And the Lincoln Steakhouse on site was absolutely delicious.

I was not informed when I checked in there will be “resort fees”, then they charged a resort fee that is equivalent to twenty-two percent on the way out!!! They never mentioned it on the way in!!

This was such a nice property to stay at for the week. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The spa was the best! It was in a nice location that was about a $12 Uber ride away from most places. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful stay in a beautiful place. Stargazing in the pool is memory I will cherish.

Tamra, Deborah (Concierge), Rob (Bell station), Leo (maintenance) were ALL GREAT! The issues we encounters, everyone made sure they were addressed respectfully and Deborah was very knowledgeable of the area and pleasant!

Be advised there are no microwaves in the rooms. Also there seems to be a pest problem in the walls and vents that makes peaceful sleeping a bit challenging.
However, the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Overall decent place. I'd give it another shot peobably.

Beautiful property in stunning location

For the price per night the room needed to be upgraded. Old hotel and the rooms show it especially the bathrooms

I loved the beauty of the gardens. The restaurants are very good and the staff is so friendly and accommodating The Camelback has my soul. I wish you would change the reservation policy at the pool, especially the adult pool. All the chairs were marked reserved but no one was using them. This didn’t seem to make much sense Nick the waiter at the Jackrabbit pool was so wonderful and very attentive. I had a manicure and pedicure at the spa and Olga is so talented and wonderful
There’s a lot to love at the Camelback

Lovely stay, PHENOMENALLY gracious and helpful staff. Most incredible meal at Lincolns with the most attentive service and best prime rib ever. Cannot save enough about how beautifully the grounds are kept; everywhere we looked seemed to be a photo needing to be taken. Only wee disappointment was the “Adult Only” spa was under repair. Will definitely be returning! Thanks for a memorable several days.

Scenery is beautiful. Property is beautiful. All the amenities are wonderful. Loved the bar, fire pit areas, the spa and pool, the room. The staff could not have been nicer or more willing to help with anything at all. Very accommodating. A top notch experience. The surrounding area is so nice and as a woman traveling alone I felt safe. Quick drive to downtown Scottsdale to shop and eat.

We love this hotel normally, but hadn’t been here for several years due to cost. But we splurged for a big celebration! While we had a great time, the room needed a a bit of updating. The bathroom had some bad floor tiles and was a bit worn looking. One of the windows was broken and could be opened but not closed unless one of us pushed from the outside. The grounds were beautiful as usual and we enjoyed eating at Rita’s.

Beautiful property and gorgeous views of Camelback Mountain!

Hotel was nice, room was very spacious with nice amenities. I was not aware, and the resort should probably make this visible on their website, the “adult” hot tub was broken, and hoppin jacks and the fitness center were both under construction. The staff were very courteous and accommodating. The vibe was old men with sweatshirts tied around their necks, which probably is a good segue into the only downside of this resort. While the spa was rated highly, the prices were astronomical, $300 for a 60 min massage. I also asked to use the pool while my wife was getting a massage and I was told I would have to buy a $50 day pass. You would think I could use the facilities since we were staying there and we booked a massage for my wife (fitness center was free due to the other one being out for construction), but I guess they needed the extra $50. To be clear, $50 a day for a mediocre fitness room 2 lane pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room sounds like something an old man with a sweatshirt tied around his neck would buy.

This property is gorgeous! The location is right in the heart of Paradise Valley and easily accessible. My best friend and I stayed there for a few days. We had an issue with our original room and the resort immediately changed our room and moved our luggage to the new room. Customer service was excellent in that regard! Our room was spacious and comfortable. The property is sprawling. You can walk to places within the property or you can request a golf cart to pick you up and bring you to your destination. We played golf at the Camelback Country Club Golf Course down the road. There was a shuttle service that takes you to and from the golf course and the resort. We played pickleball and reserving it was pretty easy. We ate at the steakhouse as well as Rita's Cantina. The food and service was excellent. I would definitely come back.

I am glad I chose to stay at the JW Marriott resort and spa hotel, it was a wonderful experience.
The condos were quiet and beautifulity decorated, loved walking around and enjoyed the garden. The pool and food was excellent 👍.

The hotel is very beautiful and unique, the only problem I had was that the air conditioning in the room froze because the staff left it at a very low temperature, and that night they had to change my room. It was very tiring. Everything else was perfect.

Great stay, easy check in and out. Great facilities, comfortable bed, very nice quiet room. Beautiful landscape around the property and amazing staff. Definitely 5 star resort. Whoever we talked to were very helpful throughout resort. They wanted you to feel welcomed and we definitely would stay there again.

Staff is amazing!! Easy check in and super nice staff.
Restaurants are really good, specially the Steakhouse! Room definitely not worth the $900 per night that I payed.

Unfortunately we stayed one night that ruined our appointments for Saturday morning which really sucked since the whole reason why we even flew to Arizona from Seattle for these appointments. My husband and I woke up first thing in the morning and went to the bathroom as usual and I began to scream because there was multiple cockroaches over an inch long in the bathroom running all over the place. We ended up killing one and my husband trapped one and because I was screaming so much as we open the door to our king suite casita. The maintenance was already outside, asking if we were OK which obviously I was not, I understand we’re not from Arizona, but we do travel there very frequently every other month or so and have been doing so the last three or four years. This is the first time we’ve ever had a hotel where there was cockroaches inside and it freaked me out . Maintenance laughed at me and I went to the front desk and was very kind and told them I could not stay another day after they offered $150 off my stay and to go spray the room with bug spray which they did while we were at breakfast and when my husband and I went back 30 minutes after the room smelled like raid, we packed up and shook out our things. There was still parts of the dead cockroach on the floor even though they picked up the body. I was thoroughly grossed out for being a Marriott. checked out and had to cancel all our plans for a vacation away from our children and changed hotels instead.

We stayed in a King casita with extra large balcony. Everything was exceptional, though if the cost is a stretch for you, maybe stay in a lower priced room and make use of the beautiful grounds. The large extra balcony was nice but the furniture was sparse, there was bird poo on the chairs (to be expected, there are lots of birds whose chirping is lovely ambiance), and there was not a movable lounge umbrella, so we couldn't really use the large balcony during the day.
The dining options were delicious and had wonderful healthy options. Having a Starbucks on site was great. The mini fridge and microwave was also useful to have. We went to the spa, which was a little overpriced for the services. Overall we loved staying here but likely would have picked a lower end room, saved a bit of money, and still had a great getaway.

Pools were ice cold but advertised as heated. Hostess spilled a full pot of boiling hot coffee on lap at breakfast
