Check in was smooth. I arrived around 10am and the receptionist found an available room and let me check in.

Restaurants were good, and so was room service. Staff was very friendly and willing to help in anyway they could. Security at hotel gave the feeling of being in a safe environment. All of our tours were able to pick us up from hotel with no issues. The bathroom was a little dated and not setup for the four guests I had booked it for. Convenient ride to the airport from the hotel was booked at concierge desk.

I absolutely love this hotel. It makes everything easy. It's both on the river and in downtown. The staff are so amazing and professional. It's a proper 5 star. Beautiful and generous comfortable rooms with incredible views. Every type of international food. Hairdresser and spa. They will sell you a local SIM at the concierge. You walk out the door and you are right by the museum. The best hotel in Cairo. By a long shot!

Great hotel, well located in downtown with views of the Nile and pyramids on a clear day. Service was really friendly and the hotel lobby is a vibe.

This hotel has excellent location and security conditions. It has multiple options to have a good stay. The breakfast service and food options are very good. The cleaning maintenance in the rooms is superior. In general, the customer service is superior, and we were very satisfied, although communication in English became a little difficult at times with some employees.

Great location for the museums. The breakfast service was a little bit disappointing though.

Good hotel and great staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and has all amenities. The balcony provides a good view to the Tahriri square and I enjoyed sitting there at night listening to the street bustle of the never-sleeping Cairo.

We stay at Room 1702 for 5 day , was clean , spacious . Nice big balcony but with limited Nile view and there was a building in ruins on the left side that obstruct the Nile view. Very close to the the Caro Tower ( walking distance if you dare to walk in Cairo) and close to the Museum. A lot of safety measures to get in with metal detectors.

Great location close to the airport/attractions. Security taken seriously and attentive/friendly staff.

Very close to Egyptian Museum of Cairo where King Tut is. Well maintained and run hotel that is just a touch dated. Lots of good dining options there like Italian on level 2 and Lebanese on Level 3.

Positive- The staff and service was AMAZING. I cannot complain one bit. The breakfast buffet is probably the best I’ve had at a hotel. Great variety and super tasty. Location was central.
Negative- rooms are dated, no black out curtains and lots of noise from the street. If they upgraded the rooms (especially the bathroom!) I would definitely come back.

Cleanliness: 3.5/5
Service: 3/5
Comfort: 3/5
Noise: 3/5
Overall: I expected a bit more considering this was the most expensive hotel of my trip.
The extended review...
Cleanliness: 3.5/5 - Clean towels but there were some blood stains on my sheets. Overall the rest of the room was decent.
Service: 3/5 - Friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is pretty diverse but was the worse tasting of all the hotels I went to on my trip. I also found it weird that there were no usb outlets or outlets near the bed stands.
Comfort: 3/5 - Mattresses were comfy. The only thing is I upgraded to a nile view which equates to more noise at night. Wasn’t worth it to upgrade.
Noise: 3/5 - With the Nile view we were situated right above the outside lounge/restaurant/pool area. There was music up until midnight-1am which didn’t make for a peaceful stay.

We had a great time here. Staff was very helpful and friendly. It was our first time in Egypt and we were traveling with two small children. We were very happy with this hotel.

This place is much more than a hotel. They are centrally located with 4 restaurants, 24 hour cafe, mini shopping center, and even currency exchange. Most of the staff was really friendly. Once you enter, it felt like a really nice hotel. Our issues were that going through 2 security checks each time you enter did not feel great as a guest. I heard this is common in Cairo though. Our other issue was that we reserved a room with 2 Queen beds and they were certainly not Queen beds as we know them in the USA. They also did not have outlets located above the nightstand which is very common everywhere else.

Good service, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are dated and not fit for today's traveller. One power point in a twin room, room and bathroom look tired and past their sell by date.

Very safe
Hotel is in great location and is in central cairo near the Cairo museum and also tahirir Square
I would recommend a stay here.

It Was a very nice stay, and had a good breakfast

Very noisy around the hotel, dirty place, you can smell smoke in every room, smoke in every corner of the place even though there is none smoking signs everywhere. Don’t expect a none smoking room. But good location, walking everywhere.

This hotel is in desperate need for renovation. The rooms are super old, the sheets in one of the beds was stained, I ordered in room dining dessert and had to call three times to follow up because it took than an hour to deliver and they forgot one of the desserts - but still charged for it.
The breakfast is the same everyday, so if you are staying a few nights you have to eat the same boring food.
The staff on the restaurant bed to be trained in little things like taking a coffee order, such a simple thing was super difficult to get done.
For the price tag, I think it's best to find somewhere else

High end hotel in an intense city. The many restaurants and outdoor areas make it a nice safe haven to escape the noise outside. The area and the traffic can be noisy, but that goes together with the great location. The view of the city and the Nile is fantastic. Staff is nice and friendly.

Great location in front of the Nile but very old and not maintained rooms. Worst experience for this category of expensive hotels.
Bathroom door did not close. Room had no amenities at all. Not even a clock which is embarrassing for such brand. No USB outlets, no iron, no creamer for tea/coffee. Would not recommend for this price. Better to stay in same category hotel in Heliopolis and pay less and Uber to downtown to explore.

The distance from Hotel to shopping was a bit much due the traffic, while I was on foot.
