I really enjoyed my stay at the Farrington. Friendly management, clean and comfortably-furnished room, excellent wi-fi and in easy walking distance to downtown eateries and shops. I'd happily stay there again.

My 2nd stay in Tumut and thought id try a different place to last time. FARRINGTON was a nice surprise and provided very cosy comfort and value for money Location is close to all amenities My room looked newly renovated , modern and welcoming

It’s a Motor Inn, so if you expect anything more than that you’ll be disappointed, otherwise you’ll be happy enough. Convenient location. The shower was good, no water issues or issues with the shower head. The bed was a little squeaky but comfortable. As a place to stay the night then I recommend. For long term, or if you’re planning on spending a bit of time in the hotel room, then I’d question my decision. I don’t regret staying there and would use the place again.

The cleanest and most comfortable accommodation. We arrived to the room being heated, it was absolutely spotless which is rare! Lovely friendly lady to greet us too.

Staff were very helpful and as we had booked on Saturday for Sunday night the Wot If Booking did not arrive until about five minutes before we got to the motel on the Sunday evening and they put us up in a double room for Sunday night and moved us for Monday and Tuesday nights to a Queen size room which was a much better standard. Big let down by Wot IF.

The bed I slept in was very comfortable, I had the best sleep in several nights. Staff were friendly and very accomodating of my late check in, as I had driven up from Melbourne that day and was unable to arrive prior to the reception close time.

This was for a birthday present for my niece, apparently when my sister rocked up they didn't know what room they were putting them in,they said any room would do,after I'd just payed $155 for a nights stay,they had no access to the pool due to there been a cover over it,one of the reasons I picked this motel and the bed wasn't made properly also on there site they had a breakfast pack made up but my sister didn't receive this,when Ive stayed at budget hotels in the Newcastle area we are given milk and cups access to certain things such as the pool and etc even during covid,I feel I disappointed my sister and my niece's whom are currently homeless and really in need of some TLC and time together as they are seperated..really disappointed especially for the price I paid...

The motel is marketed leveraging the Best Western branding, leaving impression the motel will be better proportioned, quality than what actually is. We stay in lots of motels, and felt the motel is equivalent to a room about 30% below what we paid. Can't fault the motel, as a basic place to stay, just relative to other motels we've staid at, relative to price paid.

We had booked an Executive Queen room on the basis of the photos and the price. As we are in our mid to late 70s, we asked for a downstairs room. Unfortunately it seemed that there were none of the type of room we booked on the ground floor. The room we were allocated was clean, quiet and tidy but very outdated, cramped and in need of renovation. Definitely not "executive". As there are many who would prefer a ground floor room, the website should show where each category of room is located.
