Great location and very reasonable price for the area

The room smelled of smoke & had a a heavy air freshener to mask the smoke smell.

There was a guest service rep at the desk on Thursday night around 845pm. We tried to use a cc on vending machine. Walked to desk to let her know. Her response "it has never worked". My thought is why is there no sign. Asked for change as says to use exact money. It was like an inconvenience.
Why is there no pricing for each item?

Breakfast below average

Very bad experience at a dirty, run-down hotel. The air unit made terrible noises every time it turned on so we asked to change rooms and of course all rooms were full even though parking lot wasn't full. Beds were hard and lumpy so I basically got no sleep. Stay away!

After being displaced by Hurricane Helene, this hotel was a refuge for my family. The breakfast helped my 2 year old diminish and understand the gravity of a tree falling on her room. Simply put, my family is better because this hotel is in business.

We booked this property due to its location close to Clemson’s football stadium. It was one of the only hotels with available rooms. We were a little apprehensive about that since we booked the week before. We thought it may be in a bad location or not clean. We were pleasantly surprised! The lady who checked us in was nice and able to answer our questions. We received a welcome gift we weren’t anticipating. The hotel lobby was nicely decorated and clean with cookies and lemon water available. Our room was a king suite. It was spacious and clean. We walked to and from the football stadium and I never felt unsafe. Although on a highway, it was super quiet.

The property needs major renovations & did not have enough parking available

What i didn't like was a staff member smoking at the pool. The pool is a non smoking area and neither my wife or i smoke, yet, we had to endure the nasty aroma.
Staff should know better and management should b more aware. Also, one of the three days we were there, they did not provide a hot meal. When i asked about it i was told, 'There isn't enough people to make a hot meal.' Excuse me! However i paid my rate for the room.

They were under construction and we were put on the same floor as construction and woken up by the construction on both Saturday and Sunday, which kind of sucks being on vacation!

My first room had a lot of ants. They let me move to a better room but never really apologized. The new room was cleaner but had loud construction overhead ALL day ( I needed to work). Gym equipment was old. Breakfast was marginal. Area is great and convenient and safe.

It was just ok! Toilets are way too loud, we heard toilets flushing extremely loud all night.

It was convenience staying there for one night. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok - limited selections , coffee didn't tasted very good. Property was partially under renovation.

The staff are amazing! So nice and the breakfast was excellent. We stayed in a suite and it was very dated, we found hair in our sheets, and the room smelled a little musty. We did not complain because it was one night and the staff were so nice, we hated to say anything.

The hotel is undergoing renovations so parts of the room are updated and other parts are old. It seems like it will be much nicer when completed. There are a lot of storage containers in the parking lot and limited parking is available. There were ants all over our air conditioner unit in the room.

Stayed for one night to visit campus, perfect spot

Person at check in had no personality. First room (108) we were given a handicapped room with shower issues and flooding. Moved to another room (113) which was a dump! Those rooms were very dated and definitely not worth the money!

Nice stay. There was a noisy family beside us and the very nice woman at the front desk who moved us to a suite at no cost to us. After that we got a great night of sleep! Great staff. Would stay again.

At the time of our arrival the lobby and other areas of the hotel were undergoing renovations. This created disturbing noise and areas of the hotel were not as clean as I assume they otherwise would have been. The pool area was also surrounded by a dumpster and several shipping containers which were all actively engaged in construction activities. All of this was very disruptive to our stay.

When we left for the day on Friday our do not disturb sign fell off the door and was below our door. I thought to myself i would pick it up when i returned as my hands were full. When returned the sign was on our door and our room not cleaned. The next day we left at 1 pm and returned to another day of uncleaned room, this time there wast a do not distyrb sign anywhere near our door. Do better Comfort Inn.

This hotel has been remodeled and it is beautiful. The staff is nice and helpful. I would stay there again. Did I mention the nice lady who prepares the southern biscuits and gravy? It was a wonderful four days in Clemson while our grandson was at the Clemson Baseball Camp.

It was ok. average for this type of hotel. The room was a little small, the bathroom was very small. The breakfast was pretty good. Staff was friendly.

Clean place for a quick overnight stay in the area. I've stayed here years ago for a similar trip and will use again if I find myself traveling through Clemson. Free breakfast with waffle maker are a plus. Only negative if your room is in the rear of the hotel the freight train that passes by may be heard in your room.

I booked the room and requested the bottom floor however was never told that they were remodeling the rooms on the 1st floor. So to get to the lobby for breakfast etc had to go outside and walk around the whole building. And 1 night the construction workers gathered outside the side door drinking beer which made me feel uncomfortable when i went out for a cigarette. When we checked out on thursday morning my shoe got caught up in the rug at the door and i fell the guy behind the desk did not even come over to after my husband got out of the car to help me up and when rhe employee came over all he said was do u need a band aid which i did not i was not bleeding but did hurt my knee and right hipi just feel he should have said are you ok can i get you anything.

Very nice hotel and well located on a main road. Not far from the university. The KFC next door was not good at all, so don’t use that restaurant.
