Things didn’t work even after I reported them. Slowest claustrophobic elevator.

Enjoyed the hotel room and location was great. Very nice breakfast too.

Lots of stairs in this hotel to get to elevator. Dated property but clean. Our neighboring room had smokers and it filtered into our room. No bottle water. Biggest surprise is that this is a property with 4 or so hotel buildings. They Do not lock each building each night. Normally this is fine by my room was outside the common hall in the stairway area. I felt a little unsettled. I had put the do not disturb on my door and staff knocked 2 times and someone came in the room while I was gone. Items were moved and they opened my window? This left me uneasy. I told the front desk and they said they would make note. This is a hotel with large groups. There is better places to stay

This will be the last stay here despite staying several times over the past 15 years. The hotel is now over-price for what it offers. The lobby and room decor is dated and incoherent in design. The room was small and did not reflect the photos at time of booking.
The bathroom needs updating and better quality toiletries. Whilst having a dishwasher there were no tablets or washing up liquid. Waste such as used coffee pods were not removed daily.
I had asked the hotel for the best available room in advance and an early check in but there was no reply. Check in instructions were sent after checking in.
Such a shame as the location is great.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The first night our room did not have working air conditioning, so we were moved with no issues and even got a nice room upgrade.
The hotel is located centrally but on a quieter street, and it has a lovely garden/courtyard.
Would stay there again!!

Perfect to stay in Paris for a couple of days.

Would stay here again!

Not as upscale as the photos suggest. The Hotel was adequate for a short stay. The staff was very helpful and the courtyard area was nice .
4.1
The chambermaid service gets 4 starsbut everything else gets 5 stars. The reception is lovely and they have clearly made a great effort in the interior courtyard which has certainly paid off. It is very pretty, though unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the courtyard

We booked this property so we could have a Kitchenette while traveling. We booked a Classic Room and I was impressed with the room size, considering I heard that hotel rooms in Paris were small. The bed was super comfortable. Loved that we had blackout curtains, and it was really quiet & peaceful. We slept very well! Because we arrived late at night, we asked the night staff for pots/pans/plates/cutlery etc. They didn't even know that our room had a kitchen. We went out to grab some groceries and when we came back, they figured it out and were able to provide us with cookware and plates. The night-time staff didn't seem to have as much knowledge of the rooms and other requests like Conditioner (après-shampooing), but they tried their best to help us. The daytime staff were super knowledgeable and able to assist us with ease. We had to plug the fridge in ourselves, and it seemed to be more of a freezer than a fridge, couldn't find how to adjust the fridge thermostat. The hotel is very close to a metro station, it was super easy for us to go anywhere, and we felt really safe in the area (along with all of Paris really). I highly recommend this property, and would easily stay here again next time we visit Paris. Thank you for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Loved the size of the room, very large but paid accordingly. Didnt like how the room wasn’t ready at 6pm on arrival, bathroom flooded after first use so had to unlock with noise etc late at night, received no discount. Final day there was a planned 75,000 person protest in the city, we had no idea but if we were advised we would have left early in the morning not midday and it took 2 hours to exit the city (4 cancelled ubers)

The area was great..

Great hotel and room. Very quiet and the front desk staff was nice and helpful. The restaurants around the hotel were fantastic. Close to a Metro station so easy on and off the train.
I would definitely stay here again.

This was my first time staying at Les Jardins du Marais. The staff was caring and helpful with outstanding service. My room was upgraded to an executive suite was spacious and quiet. The location is ideal, a 1-minute walk to the metro and 3 minutes to bus 96 with cafes nearby. Perfect for shopping and exploring the Marais. I will be staying here on my future visits to Paris.

Behind an unassuming street facade lies a very modern hotel with wonderful quiet rooms and a pleasant garden.
4.1
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was in good condition and made for a relaxing stay while in Paris
4.1
The reception was rather cold. The photos on the site are wonderful but the reality is somewhat different. Bar and restaurant were closed which was pretty disappointing. The rooms are clean and quiet.
4.1
Good hotel with a really good location

The property is poorly run. During our stay we went a full day with no water. There was not any compensation for this huge inconvenience. No one one mentioned this would be happening when I booked the hotel, and it was off for construction work they knew was going to be done. It was all a surprise to guests.
Steps at front are uneven and dangerous. Courtyard is ok, but could be so wonderful if they served cocktails or meals out there. It’s not utilized at all.

It’s my first time in Marais. I choose this hotel, because I have some friends that live there on the district and they told me about it it’s super well located in this art/vintage/local /cultural district. I walked a lot in Marais. The hotel has the names of the famous painters in each building. The breakfast is very good with a lot of options for people with different tastes. The receptionist people are the best I ever met in my life. They are super friendly and right there for whatever you need. I’ll be back very soon.😊

Such a lovely property! But really the staff is what made the stay receive such high ratings from me. There were a couple of issues which we had, but the staff’s response made it easy to overlook.
4.1
Lovely room - no upgrade. No shower gel in room dispenser and air con disabled despite advertising that they had air con. Very comfortable bed and clean/well maintained.

We were worried about this stay having seen recent reviews, but couldn’t have had a better time. The property is in a great location, close to transport and over the road is the best Korean restaurant in Seoul Lab. The hotel is spread out over different building surrounding a courtyard and some of it is a little dated. The room was very spacious, and clean, things are getting a little dated but not dirty just used. The staff were really nice and friendly. Would defo stay here again.

The front desk staff and the housekeeping were exemplary!

Beautiful property, lovely service.

The hotel looks unassuming from the street but once you get through the reception the rooms are in multiple buildings surrounding a courtyard. We stayed in the junior suite but it was a bit disappointing as it was small, carpets were dirty looking and the decor was bland. The check in process was time consuming, although staff were nice, not sure why we had to complete all our details and scan our passports a few days before check-in and then we had to do it again at check in! Location was relatively convenient for the metro and off the hustle and busy of the touristy areas.

Our experience was really bad to the point I wished I had skipped Paris all together.
Upon arrival, we checked in at check in time but our room wasn’t ready, we had to wait two more hours to get access to the room.
Once in our room, as we are going to sleep I had what it looked like a bedbug. We were able to trap the bug under a cup and take a video and emailed it to the hotel, but no management contacted us.
We called the front desk and were told that there was no housekeeping available to help us but we could move to another room. In the middle of the night, 12:30am. We had to repack all our stuff and move to another “upgraded” room. We did so and long and behold the room was much smaller we went from a queen size bed to a full size bed.
The next day I asked to speak to a manager and was told that no manager was available. We expressed our discomfort for the room and the staff was not helpful. They offered to give me another key to another room but at this point I just wanted to leave. Unfortunately, we had tickets to museums and events and did not have the luxury to continue to play musical rooms. This was our anniversary weekend traveling from NYC to Europe ad this experience put a damper on the vacation. Needless to say, three nights felt eternal.
My advise is to skip this location if you can.

I booked this property cause I got a good deal from Expedia and it is in the 3rd Arrondissement. While this property boasts 4 stars, I would compare the hotel to a Holiday Inn. It is clean and centrally located, however it did not feel luxurious. It is not what I would expect out of a 4 star hotel
4.1
The property was clean and staff were friendly friendly and keen to help with any of our needs.
4.1
Our last night the owner of the hotel had a birthday party and it was loud, had to call reception to complain since we had to wake up at 4:00am and couldn’t go to sleep. The hotel was nice and clean the only thing we didn’t like was that this hotel has separate buildings connected by a court yard and had to walk through the court yard to get to our room. Super nice and helpful personnel from front desk and housekeeping.
4.1
Nice boutique hotel with a nice courtyard
4.1
The staff were friendly and my major criticism was the breakfast. It was definitely not worth the price.
4.1
After checked in, settled with luggage, found fridge not working and leaking water, light at sink was not working. They changed another room for me but I have to pack all my luggage. After one good night staying, water supply was not working for few hours in the afternoon, when water was back, only hot water .. I can’t take a show because too hot, not flash in the toilet until morning .. terrible experience. Staff is good but the place not recommended.
4.1
Worst service ever rude employees definitely not a good experience soiled my birthday surprise
4.1
Great hotel
4.1
Room was good, but we had a prestige suite. Staff in the reception were rude and unwelcoming - overall 3/5 but can be easily 4/5 if staff were better and restaurant/bar area had more stuff to do.

Stayed here last April and decided to book here again for my January trip. Mistake. There was a plumbing problem in my room. They told me to wait up for a plumber who finally arrived around 6:00. Couldn't fix problem. They did provide a different room and said they would call me when it was ready. They never did. I kept going to the desk to ask when the room was ready. I would have appreciated a simple apology for what happened. Nothing.
I also asked if there was an ATM nearby. No answer.
For my next trip to Paris, I will stay elsewhere.

Great customer service at front desk

We were given a lower quality room than we booked. The room was changed. We specifically booked a suite so that we could use its kitchen facility. However, it was difficult to get housekeeping to give us any kitchen utensils or dishes. We were told that it was hotel policy to only provide wooden spoons! What is the point of paying more for a suite !! The communication between hotel staff and us was poor and on times totally unacceptable.
We only had 1 chair in the room for two of us . The service and quality below what’s expected in a 4 star hotel. Could not stay again or recommend it!!
4.1
Check in was a mess. Everything seems in desperate need of an update.
