Beautiful hotel in Osterbeek, very close to Arnhem. Hotel is practically in the middle of a forest, very quiet and secluded. Service was top-notch. Rooms ok. Breakfast was great. Very easy parking and the hotel is close to public transport which I used to go into Arnhem. The hotel is in walking distance of the Airborne Museum.

I stay here whenever I'm in Oosterbeek. Very convenient for The Airborne Cemetery and Museum. The bus service into Oosterbeek and Arnhem is on the main road just outside the hotel. The hotel stands well back from the main road in woodlands. Parking is ample. The room was well prepared and clean. The bed was a little soft for me. The bath and shower are a combined unit and the bath surface was slippery. I was later advised by Reception that a bath mat was available and a note in the room to that effect would have been helpful. Apparently a refurbishment programme is planned to replace existing bath/ shower arrangements with a walk in shower. The restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner and the staff were very helpful throughout.

Group staff helpful at remedying my overnight booking-date error ! Hotel staff very helpful at accommodating my very late arrival due to motorway floods, jams and diversions --- special cold meal put up for my final arrival.

Very nice hotel, all you need inside. Outside an area for sunbathing would have been nice. Only a tent and some benches. The only chairs was at the restaurant. It was 31 degrees snd sun at our stay. Otherwise room nice, a bit old but very clean. Breakfast was super

Oosterbeek is a beautiful town. This is a great base to explore the area. Airborne Museum is just down the road and Arnhem only a few miles away. Hotel is great and staff were superb.

Area was very scenic in the countryside. However, spoons and milk were taken from the room after cleaning and once told, the staff replaced these but then took the green tea away! There was also no shower gel at the hotel and despite asking for some, we were still left with only copious amounts of shampoo and conditioner in our hotel room. Otherwise, a pleasant stay and staff were very friendly.

I was giving a battle field tour on both Saturday and Sunday and had a lot of material. As a regular stayer with you over the last decade and as someone staying for 6 nights I was disappointed to have such a small lift and I couldn't open my suitcase without lifting it up on to the bed each time.

The hotel is set back from the main road in very pleasant grounds. Check in and check out was very easy. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the dinner menu was a little restricted presumably as the hotel was quiet in terms of number of guests. Car parking is easy. The bus service into Osterbeek and Arnhem is quick and the bus stop about 5 minutes walk. The hotel is convenient for both the airborne museum and the cemetery

My tour group srated here for 2 nights, October 6&7, 2023. Thus is an amazing hotel. Staff go above and beyond to ensure tfeir guests needs are seen to. When we could not get a reservation for dinner at the hotel's restaurant, they called 6 different restaurants for us, and we eventually got reservations at the Schoonard - great choice. The onsite bar was well stocked with lots of choice. I'd last stayed here in October 2010 and was pleased to see the hotel still had the excelkent service i remembered. My only complaint is i found the tub a bit too high to step in and out of confortably. Would have preferred a walk in shower.

High bath and broken shower rail. 'Upgraded' only to find room an oven and then advised aircon in room broken. Back to old room. Advised at half empty restaurant that they had to check if we could be accomodated.8pm. Brusk sevice and outside seating closed presumably for conveience of staff. Restaurant 400m away on roundabout used next night great for food and servive in a stark comparison.

I’ve stayed here before and have known the hotel all my life. It’s in the most gorgeous surroundings but the building, rooms and outside could do with spruce up. Staff were v nice but breakfast needs some sort of system. (Also which hotel does not serve jam???) I won’t hesitate to recommend because of the area but it is no longer the place it once was.

Check in and check out were good. The room was clean and comfortable but i was surprised that there were neither tea/coffee making facilities in the room nor a fridge. Admittedly they were not specifically mentioned in the room description but at many or most hotels it is standard practice. A more comprehensive description would have been welcome. The bar was closed on my first night and the dinner menu was a little uninspiring but the food was of good quality. Service from staff throughout the hotel was very good. The purpose of my visit was to visit the cemetery and Museum in Oosterbeek for which the hotel is well located and Arnhem centre is an easy drive

Needed just one night in area on short notice. Dinner not available but notice was provided by the hotel through online booking service prior to check in. That bit of info was helpful and delivery of notice was efficient.

Excellent hotel with good facilities. Two points to note, little English language TV so none of the usual News channels, and check whether there is a conference on at the time you stay. My last night overlapped with a conference and the hotel was understaffed for the numbers attending and it was impossible to get into the bar or the main restaurant (which was closed to non-conference guests when the conference was on).

The hotel is amazing, the back rooms have a wall of glass on the forest, the front room have a balcony. The hall, bar and restaurant are very pleasant and the woods all around are full of pathway to explore. We booked a second night to enjoy it a little more but the same room wasnt available and the staff at the desk werent very helpfull until one of the managers (mrs. Hilda, I hope I got her name correctly), took care of us. She was lovely and kind and she really made us feeling at ease. If you are in the area I strongly suggested to stay in this hotel.

The Hotel is superbly located with a magnificent hood surrounding,It has a lot of charm and history, combined with modern facilities. The only dark point was a hot water "shut-down" for more than 12 hours. Also, the staff could be more regardful towards foreign customers. As an example of it, was the A4 sheet placed on the lift, written only in dutch informing the hot-water was not available.
