Check in was slow the young man need help there was a event of some sort going on and he was having to have other customers wait while he looked something up or called someone on the phone my room was on the inside looking at a drained swimming pool no coffee in room or offered in lobby I'll attach pictures

While we were there a guy saying he is the “maintenance man” barged in the room when me and my son were there. He just stared at us as we were frantically asking him if he needed something. I could imagine what would have happened had my girl been there by herself. I immediately went into defense mode and asked the front desk who the guy was. I learned that this guy had a history of going into guests rooms unannounced. This is definitely not safe and not to mention we are close by a prison. The room was run down, the linens were dirty. The only good thing was the nice shower with jet like water stream. I did t feel safe here and I wouldn’t recommend this place for families coming to visit their kids at the intensity.

This was a very unkept hotel. Bugs and smoke smells in a smoke free room. They did change rooms for me but the new room was horrible as well. The TV did not work and the water in the tub would not turn off. I did not stay and asked for a refund.

Very rude staff people would drive around the parking lot all night and just stop behind our vehicle we would off left and stayed somewhere else but there was no availability anywhere

I did not read reviews before staying - my mistake. Had to stay here because the power was out at the hotel we had reservations at. Pool is condemned. Room had wrapped bathroom walls no vent needs renovation. Landscapers working on a tall tree while we stayed. Not sure why management thought placing a customer right in front of major tree trimming was smart. I should’ve pitched a fit to start!! When we arrived sheetrock was leaned against the a/c to protect it, but with the a/c running, no air flow, unit was shutting off. We moved it, of course. By the way, who puts Sheetrock in front of a running a/c with water run off ? Damaging your own materials! LOL horrible place, thoughtless managers. Next morning contractors put the sheet rock back in front of the a/c and our room started getting hot again. Went to move them again and had enough. Will never give this place business again. This is the RoachWay Inn. One dead in the Kleenex dispenser, killed 2 during our stay. Should have taken more pictures of the pool and tree trimming fiasco.

Very low budget motel. Had to stay at last minute because of booking error with other hotel. Very old. None of the lamps worked and shades falling off. Dresser drawers were falling out. Carpet stained and large gap all the way around door seal. Sheets were clean and pillows clean and we were only staying for one night. All other places were full due to college graduation. Should have known since it only cost $42

When I arrived, I immediately checked my beds for bed bugs (I do this for every place I stay). There was no stains on the mattress itself bit the white sheets had black dark stains all over them. They even had cigarette stains and burns. The pillows didnt look washed and still had stains that looked like makeup/eyeliner on them. Then when my daughter picked up the mattress to check for bugs on her bed, there was literally an half piecebof a toasted bread and crumbs all over the place. I couldn't believe it! I took pictures but i dont think this site will let me post them. The sink still had hair and dirt in it and the room smelled like dirty carpet. I was so disgusted that I went to show the manager the pictures and asked for a better room. I would even pay the differences but I needed something clean and much better quality. He gave me a room behind the office that was smoke free but it smelled like smoke. It was cleaner but still had stains and cigarettes burns on the bedding. There was even a rat poop stuck to the white sheet. Since I didn't see any bed bugs we decided to stay because I didnt want to lose my expedia money and it was really late already. However, we went to Walmart and bought pillow cases and a kingsize bed sheet bc i didn't want to sleep on their bedding. I also bought small blankets to sleep with. I hated to spend more money but the pillow cases seemed unwashed. It was seriously the worse hotel experience but it was my fault for not checking the reviews

The amenities listed were not available. No ice, no washing/drying. Cups were dirty and unwrapped. Deposit wasn’t refunded in a timely manner on top of the owner being rude, had me almost in tears and switching around prices “non smoking more expensive” then said “smoking is more expensive” I felt scammed after driving all day with a tired brain.Took 40 minutes to get the key to our pre booked room. Never staying there again.

The road in front of the hotel is under construction, making it difficult for them. Once that construction is finished, perhaps corporate will invest some money for upkeep and upgrades - But it will always be across the street from the state prison, dulling its appeal for some.

Would be wonderful if they would update the place. I chose this place because they had a gym. I had to run the parking lot because the equipment in the gym did not work. Had to switch rooms because the bed caved in like a 800lb person slept in it for a year. Would be a nice huge facility if they would just remodel.

The rooms air was off so it took all nought to try to cool it off. The bathtub had been painted over and pair was peeling and flaking off. Live roach in the seam of the frig. Only paid $50 for the room but the night before I paid $60 somewhere else and had no issues

We had a nice stay at the hotel. It's an older hotel but room was very clean and comfortable. We had an accessible room , which the bathroom was a reg. With a wood board across the tub for a seat for handicap. Need reg shower chair for handicap room. Board is not safe, will fall if you move to much during showering. Would i stay again; yes. It was clean and although near hwy 45, was quiet.
