The hotel is great , but ask to have a front view. We had a room with backyard view and still couldn’t see anything as the windows were fitted so high and they were very small ones. Overall- the staff are amazing and so helpful.

Amazing staff ( Casey and Gabriella ) and others at front desk j Breakfast was fabulous and social hour amazing and people were actually talking instead of looking/chatting on there phones . WINE AND CHEESE AND OPEN BAR is very good

This was one of the worst check in experiences I have ever had. The check in associate was an intern and being trained. He inadvertently gave us false information. This can be expected from a trainee from time to time. However, the hotel staff, especially the front desk manager will not own up to the mistake that was made and is instead calling us liars.

We considered many hotel options in Amsterdam and landed on Banks Mansion due to location, ratings and provided amenities (included afternoon snacks, drinks, breakfast, etc). Location of hotel was great, providing easy walking to many attractions, bars and restaurants. Beds were comfortable, room was very spacious, toiletries had a lovely scent and staff were friendly. For us the mark was missed on cleanliness and general condition of the property. Carpet in our room had stains, there was something spilled down the inside of the bedroom door, bathroom grout was visibly dirty and the bathroom door handle plate had fingerprints/visible "stuff" on it. We went to breakfast our first morning, where our shoes stuck to the floor, which just didn't land well in an environment you're going to eat at. Additionally the living room area is quite small, and seats are limited during the afternoon/evening, so arrive early if you want to hang. Again, we really wanted to love everything about it, but just didn't meet expectations and would not stay again.

5-10 minute walk to everything. The hotel has an open bar with soda and Heineken beer. The rooms have plenty of room and the ac is perfect. Very quiet rooms. We would stay again.

What an amazing hotel experience. They absolutely think of everything. Staff friendly & efficient. When we arrived we were told there was a wine bar in the reception living room from 4-12 a cheese bar was set up 5-6 and anything else we could think of was available 24-7 all complimentary! The shower was great the beds comfortable. Breakfast buffet was also included with eggs made to order! best hotel stay ever!

I stayed here because of all of the great reviews. It was a splurge for me on my last night in Amsterdam, and honestly, I was so disappointed. During check-in, I felt like I was imposing on the staff’s time. I didn’t get told about the cheese/wine service in the family room which should be a highlight. My room was small, had very well used furniture and some nasty, large stains on the curtains. When I returned from dinner, I spoke with another staff member who promptly offered me a new room, which was lovely and included large windows that opened onto the canal. It is a great location and has sound-proof windows, but in my opinion, it is not worth the premium price of a luxury hotel.

Very accomodating staff. Convenient location. Wonderful breakfast. Beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright inspired furnishings. My sister and I had a room with twin beds and my only criticism is that the box springs were too small for the mattresses causing an unsafe situation of the mattresses overhanging.

Free open bar with cheese, chocolate and other snacks in the lobby. Very kind and friendly staff and plentiful breakfasts. No complaints, in fact we didnt want to leave it felt so warm and welcoming.

Wonderful hotel! The location of this beautiful hotel is perfect to walk to many areas, including the Museum Quarter and antique and vintage shops. There’s also a good choice of cafes and restaurants very close by. The Art Deco furnishings and decor are so lovely, as is the complementary bar and snacks provided in the very comfortable lounge area. Great choice of non alcoholic drinks too. Excellent breakfast choices and the cooked to order omelettes are just delicious. Would recommend booking a room with a canal view, ours was beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful, always smiling and nothing was too much trouble. A wonderful four day stay.

Boutique hotel in great location near Rembrandt Square. Walking distance to two execellent museums (and the Red Light District for the adventurous). Highly recommended!!

I didn’t think this property had anything special especially for the price. I didn’t get welcoming behavior from a few of the front staff employees. My room was small, loud and noisy. The location is next to the flower market and can walk to shopping. I would not recommend my friends and family stay here and I would never return.

The property was beautiful and the staff wonderful. We were supposed to have a bottle of wine in our room, but it was unnecessary because they had a full bar downstairs with access to everything complimentary. My husband helped himself to a gin and tonic, and I had a glass of wine. There were snacks and goodies available as well. The breakfast was nice, but they had only one cook available to cook eggs, and she had to handle one person at a time. We were rushing off to the airport, so we were unable to wait in line for eggs. They did have hard boiled eggs and bacon available though. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing hotel, centrally located with very friendly staff. Loved their 24x7 open bar, wine and cheese trolley and great spread for breakfast with hot omelette station (all included in the price of the room). Close to all attractions, within 15 minutes walk to the museums, Red Light Area. Lots of restaurants outside the hotel. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom was big compared to other hotels in Europe. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Authentic hotel, very well located. Room is very comfortable. Staff very responsive to guest’s needs. But the check in is too late and the check out is too early !!! In my opinion not justified at all. Rooms were available but for an additional fee

Amazing place. The staff goes outnof their way to give you a 10 stars service. Rooms are cozy but perfectly designed and comfortable. The bar has anything you can need for a cocktail when you come back to the hotel (or before you leave). Abive and beyond expectations for sure!

It was the second time I had stayed there, this time I took my daughter, who loved it. The staff are friendly and the hotel encourages guests to get to know each other (but not obligatory!) at the free bar and cheese tasting. It's in a very convenient position and on the side of the canal Herrengracht. The art decor design throughout is beautiful.

Amazing staff who were so friendly and helpful! We also enjoyed the wine and cheese in the afternoon, and the drinks in the lobby all the time. The hotel was centrally located so we could keep coming back to use the washroom or drop off shopping etc
