Great location, friendly and helpful staff… The hotel is clean but comfort wise it’s lacking - You get a super soft square cushion style pillow one per person and heating is a big issue. I stayed for 5 days and had three different rooms - it was so cold.
Not my first time in Cph so it was a downer for my overall trip especially because I had my child with me.

This hotel is so outdated both in facility, service and standards. Do not recommend it.

3rd stay for us in Copenhagen and this was our favourite hotel out of the three we've stayed in. Location was perfect- 5 mins from main train station with metro right outside the hotel. Attractions very close by with Tivoli a 6 minute walk. We paid a little extra for an upgrade which I'm so glad we did. We had a lovely spacious room with two showers and a balcony ( although the balcony was scarily slippery!). Only negative I have is that the lifts are incredibly small ( 3 people limit). Only caused issues on the first day though. We both said we would stay there again if we returned.

We stayed here for a couple of days for our first time in Copenhagen, the hotel was easy to find, is a 7 mins walk from the main train station, the location is not very nice but not dangerous. The hotel is large and the check in process was easy but our room was extremely small and the WiFi was very weak, both my husband and I had to keep reconnecting to use it. I would say if is your best time in Copenhagen don’t stay in this area but if you rather a good price is not a bad choice either.

Clean but very old. Even the superior rooms were so small, the wooden floors are SO old, u can see the bed scrapes on the floor because a lot of people prob had “fun” there. The rooms smells like an old sauna and overall def not worth the money. No toothbrush, no minifridge in their superior rooms even, no cutlets or anything. Honestly dont stay here because the price is for luxury yet hotels like wakeup prob accomodate more. The tv’s are old as hell, just not worth a stay unless its under 40 euros a night

Big hotel but very basic rooms. Rooms were clean , fitness centre is quite small and breakfast was also very basic. Ok for overnight stay as location is good.

The imperial exceeded expectations. An ultra modern building from the outside, yet full of perfectly polished character on the inside. Very close to the train station, which was a plus for me.

Located near several attractions. Next to the central train station. Small room but we were there to sleep only.

The hotel is ok. Just nothing memorable about it.
I stayed on the 6th floor, which is nice cause it has a balcony, but I am not sure if the cooling tower or something similar are on the rooftop or what, but there is a constant noise –as if an engine was running– that made it hard to fall sleep. Thankfully, I am a good sleeper, but I will not recommend it if there are other options. I booked it just a day before my arrival and I didn’t have many other alternatives. I’ve chose it based on location, which is actually quite convenient.

It was no luxury about the hotel or the room. It was only a shampoo/body wash sope in the bathroom, no conditioner as promised in the add. In the bed it was to tiny pillows and an old duvee. The balcony was the one bright side of the room. The room was expencive and the hotel promised luxury, this was not value for money.

A good place to stay in Copenhagen

Because we arrived late, The reception staff immediately assumed we were random guest and told us they were full booked. I told them we had a reservation but they keep saying we haven’t even though I showed my reservation. Finally the staff finds us and told us they put us on a No show list…
The front desk staff were not welcoming and professional at all. The morning after for the check out was better tho.
The room could have a renovation and some amenities in the bathroom could also be nice when thinking of the hotel standard.

As soon as you walk in it breaks of cigarettes and dust. It’s so strong it seeps into the rooms. The room was very dirty, visit or finger prints on glass, mirrors, doors, and handles. There were questionable stains on the sheet curtains, duvet, and walls. The bathroom vent had lots of visible mold, and rust on all the appliances. This hotel is in serious need of a remodel and bleach down. It was the end of my euro trip so I did not complain, it wasn’t worth it and other rooms were sold out.
The saving grace was the location and the outstanding staff. Staff was so kind and helpful. Location was close to the train station, TIvoli, and many other attractions.

This stay was just average. The WiFi was very spotty. The rooms were on the small side. However, the hotel is in a convenient location.

Central Copenhagen has deteriorated significantly.

A shabby old hotel that hasn’t seen a lick of paint since 1978. The breakfast is poor , this hotel is like a bad holiday inn but 4 times the price . I strongly advise you give it a miss

Good location. The beds are for children; not what you expect from a good hotel but that seems to be normal in Europe where the standards are very poor. The shower is also not good (hand held shower in a tub). The breakfast which is extra is good.

We booked 2 nights in the imperial hotel . It’s in an excellent location a short walk from the train station.
When we arrived on the first night at 11:30 pm we were told there was an issue with our room so they had arranged for us to stay in their sister hotel 10 mins away . At first we were upset due to a long journey and needing to sleep but they paid for us a taxi to take us then bring up back in the morning after breakfast. We were checked into a lovely room given complimentary drinks . The bad situation was handled extremely well and didn’t spoil our stay at all . We would recommend the imperial hotel for location value for money and for service

We had a lovely stay at the Imperial Hotel. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, and very large family room. The Italian restaurant attached to the hotel was fantastic and the overall location was great!

Our first room and something “gunky” and hair in the bed. We were given a new room but there was a lot of mould on the shower head, the sealant around the bath, and the grouting. There was also no soap in the dispenser in the shower. Thankfully we were only there for one night. It’s hard to recommend this place.

I liked everything expect elevators only held 3 people, and with one elevator out of order at the time, there was a constant wait for the elevators. We had to walk up and down several flights a couple of times.
