What a beautiful and quaint hotel right in the heart of Bruges.
The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Lovely touches on checkin and checkout.
Lovely breakfast too.

The room was lovely, but they sprayed perfume in it and on the bedding. It smelled so strong that I ended up trying to figure out where it was sprayed and stuck all the smelly items in the hall in the middle of the night and tried to sleep with a window open. That meant to 6 am garbage collection woke me. I’d stay again as they fixed it night two, but I’d tell them not to perfume the room before arriving. Hotel staff is fantastic and location can’t be beat.

The hotel was very nice boutique style, exceptional service throughout our stay. The room we stayed in had a view of the canal and a small terrace you could sit out on.
Breakfast was great and the decor throughout was lovely. Only criticism was the occasion smell of sewage / dirty water, think being an older building by the canal we occasionally had some bad smells otherwise we had a brilliant time in Brugge.

A really lovely hotel to hole up and explore the old city in Brugge. Beautifully appointed and and lovely staff.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic terrace and lots of thoughtful extras. Would stay again!

Very accommodating staff, great service, and the property/room was absolutely beautiful, nestled right on the canal. The room was very generously sized and we felt like royalty staying there.

We just stayed at Hotel de Orangerie in July 2024. The hotel was in a great location right on a canal. Even though the area was busy the hotel was calm and quiet. The best part of the hotel is the amazing staff. They were all so nice and helpful with ideas or directions. The breakfast was also great. Would stay here again.

Our favorite hotel in Brugge, lovely spot and always so good service! last time we had our dogs with us and it was not a problem.
4.7
Amazing hotel, beautifully restored. Fantastic location and staff were lovely. Highly recommend.
4.7
Gorgeous hotel, the staff were so friendly and we had a lovely welcome and leaving gift which was a really nice touch.
Perfect location to explore the centre of Bruges

We were in the adjoining building. The internet did not work. I mentioned it on the first day and it was never fixed. The breakfast was good but hardly the best in Belgium as they claimed. Overall, it was good.
4.7
It was probably the hottest day of the year so the room was a bit stuffy as the AC unit was too small to cope
4.7
We were only here for one night, and while the room was very nice, staff friendly, and the location great, I don't think I could have done another night there. Our room was adjacent to the breezeway at the entrance, and the smoke smell that permeated the room was awful. To book a non-smoking room and to have to smell smoke constantly in our space was not acceptable.

This property is right in the heart of things in historic Bruges centre. We were driving and we were directed to a secure parking garage a couple of hundred yards from the hotel after dropping our bags (prebooked with the hotel and we were advised by them that we needed to apply for a free pass to drive through pedestrianised Bruges a few days in advance- online) The welcome was warm with a complimentary drink from the bar and we were offered that afternoon to join an introductory walking tour of Bruges by manager Babette- we would thoroughly recommend this - a great introduction to Bruges with a good mix of visits to local sites, historic and cultural information- tips on local food and drink all with great humour- a very engaging host. It was useful to help us plan our itinerary over the next couple of days. Our room was not in the main hotel overlooking the canal but across the road but this had the advantage of being quieter- was very spacious and a view of a bell tower. My only criticism is the bed was a bit soft for me. Breakfast was sumptuous with something for all tastes and thoroughly recommended as was the afternoon tea.

A beautifully decorated hotel in a great location with very friendly staff. We felt at home and really enjoyed having a drink in the patio overlooking the canal. We only stayed one night, but would definitely come back if we were in Bruges again.

The hotel was so well located.. everything was within walking distance . The decor was stunning and the bedroom was beautiful with all amenities available . The fragrance in the room was opulent . Staff couldn’t do enough for us . We received complementary chocolates and voucher for a complementary drink on arrival and Belgium biscuits on leaving . Overall an amazing experience which I highly recommend and will definitely return to this hotel again. Danny and Ursula

Lovely Hotel in a historic building. Staff was wonderful and the hotel is on a quiet side street but within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.
4.7
Beautiful property. Loved the polite and helpful staff and the charming property. Can’t beat the location.
The only suggestions for improvement are related to the bathrooms in the rooms. The glass doors would be much better if they were solid doors that provided more privacy and sound containment. It’s impossible not to hear running water etc. Also, the towels were very thin, small, and worn.

I give 5 star reviews to other hotels, but this hotel deserve the highest rating. Service was amazing. Room was fantastic. Location was perfect. We were traveling Europe and this was our favorite hotel.

We had an amazing stay here in Bruges. Bed was super comfortable, we loved all of the amenities, the location can’t be beat, and everyone working here was friendly & efficient. The hotel is older but it is a historic building which we love. It made us feel as though we were staying during a time long ago. Afternoon Tea was wonderful. We would definitely stay again if we ever return to this beautiful city.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Bruges. Car park is situated about 100 yards away but is easy to get to. Staff were very friendly and gave us great recommendations for bars and restaurants. Location is perfect, you couldn't be anymore central. Would definitely stay again. Would recommend the boat trip which starts/stops right outside the hotel.
