The Kathryn is lovely with an obvious character of hospitality that is evident in the extra touches in the decor, the facility and amenities (complimentary salmon chowder, fresh baked cookies and wonderful breakfast) The staff are gracious and accommodating. Very central dining, shopping and the beach.

We had a very nice stay at Kathryn Riverfront Inn. Our room was really nice. The beach, shops and restaurants were all in walkable distance. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would recommend Kathryn Riverfront Inn to everyone we know that would be traveling to Seaside.

It was nice and quiet also the balcony was great.the parking was bad the spaces were small. I had to drive my truck and it barely fit. It would take some doing to get it into a space. If you have a smaller car it should be no problem. The hotel is close to downtown so there are some decent restaurants within walking distance.

I have stayed here several times and it’s always an easy, convenient place to stay. I’ve never had a dirty room, or any issues like things in the room being broken. The staff is excellent and friendly. The woman who helped us check in was sweet and funny and made the whole process easy. Any other staff we interacted with were super friendly! I’m a little picky about hotels, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The location couldn’t be better, parking is easy, it’s safe, the pool, hot tub & sauna are a great perk. I didn’t have breakfast but my partner enjoyed it. The chowder and cookies are a great treat. I wish there was more coffee in the room (I’m a big coffee person) but the staff was happy to give me tons of extras! Overall it was a great stay once again

I would say our stay was great and I would stay again. Not perfect was that there is a light outside the balcony that was unable to be shut off and lack of room darkening curtain for the door that faced this light. Though the door had blinds they were not room darkening so it lit up the room at night and also allowed the sun to shine in the morning.

Absolutely LOVED this hotel! The friendliest staff from the moment we checked in. Our fireplace wasn’t working when we first got to our room but the guy from the front desk as well as another guy came up to fix it right away and made sure it was working properly. They also gave us a bottle of sparkling cider for our anniversary. Each night there was complimentary smoked salmon chowder and warm cookies. Also loved having real mugs in our room to use instead of paper cups. Breakfast was good and had a great view of the river. I only wish the balcony could fit two chairs instead of one, because then we would have used it more. Excellent location to walk to everything near the beach.

Good location, quiet, with lovely view of the river and mountains beyond. Liked the style of the lobby etc. Balcony was nice. Room was very comfortable, older style but very clean. Only negatives were very noisy bathroom fan and the air conditioning was quite loud. Breakfast was good. Didn’t use the spa/pool/gym/laundry, so can’t comment.

The place is very rundown, old furnishings and carpet, no safe in the room, no hair dryer in the room and reception was not able to bring one. Rather noisy, old plumbing systems in the building so loud and easily can tell when other rooms take a shower or flush. Pub next to hotel and customers standing outside talking loud till 1:30am. The rooms don’t have blackout curtains or blinds. This should really be a 2.5 or max 3 star rating.

Unless changes are made, I would not recommend! Room (206) was not clean! There was food in the drain in the kitchenette and it was black and gunky! There was food on the nightstand and food on the floor! I walked across the carpet with no shoes and my feet were black! Feces on the bathroom wall!!! The sheets and towels did appear to be clean as did the breakfast buffet and breakfast area. The hot tub was not in working order, nor was the sauna. We did not try the pool. The young lady that checked us in was great! I’m sorry I don’t know her name. She was working the evening of July 31.

This property was great for its location and free breakfast. Only negative were some loud guests that kept us awake all night with screaming kids running down the hallways and wasted drunk moms (sad). The staff was very nice about it and gave us a discount and a gift bag afterwards!
