With spacious rooms and comfy beds and an easy walk to the IU campus the hotel is a perfect fit in which to stay when visiting.

And the price of the room was extremely elevated for the weekend. We paid $850 for a king size room. Definitely not worth it. The shower was not clean and had hair in it. The towels were stained, and I am not sure they were freshly laundered.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Property was the worst Courtyard I’ve ever stayed in. TV was from 2005, cable was analog (really?), no premium channels, room was super dated, king mattress had a very noticeable slump where clearly everyone sleeps on the side closest to the tv. Bathroom was dated. Lighting was poor. I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express the night before (for half the price) that made the Courtyard Bloomington seem like a third world country. Not worthy of the Mariott brand name, and certainly not worth $300/ night. I’m a loyal Bon Voy member, but I won’t be returning to this property. And fyi- I never leave bad reviews.

Got surprised by $50 up front damage deposit and separate $11 parking fee. Not a fan of dim mood lighting in lobby. Makes reading lips for the hard of hearing unnecessarily difficult at check in. Not a bad stay, but did not quite measure up to previous experience here.

The hotel is located close to the main square and there are many options for dining and shopping nearby. The lobby is very nice and the staff is very helpful.

No where in the listing does it state that someone over the age of 21 must check you in. I had already paid for the room, was not allowed to stay in it, and was refused a refund regardless of the fact that i didn’t even step foot into the room. Front desk clerk didn’t try to help or find a solution, was basically told that there was nothing she was willing to do and she was not interested in helping.

Coffee in the room was average but coffee in other hotels we have enjoyed had coffee in the eating area on main floor available. Starbucks was there but was not even open half the time we stayed. Also their pricing is not wallet friendly. Staff in lobby was very kind and helpful especially Haley. . I did mention to them the loud cars in racing mode in front of hotel. Our room was on front side. This racing noise was at all hours of day and night. Not pleasant.

Very convenient to downtown Bloomington. Clean rooms. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Complimentary Coffee in the morning was good.

I used the free parking filter on hotels.com, but they do charge here and you have to use an outside app to pay and can't just charge it to your room. Really disappointed that they don't have electric car chargers in 2024. Bloomington as a city is woefully underprepared for EVs. Hot tub is extremely tiny and the light flickers. Room was gorgeous, large, quiet, and well cleaned.

It was super close to everything in the city center and the town square is a lively place to be. Lots of restaurants and some shops nearby. We could even walk to a grocery store to pick up a few items! It was very clean and quiet- no complaints. The beds were great too.

The place is in a great location. But that's about all that was good The hot tub didn't work, and the front desk persons didn't seem to care. Everything was an extra charge, Parking, Breakfast, Coffee in the lobby(I don't care about a Starbucks name) so that was not ideal. Not that everything should be a freebie but patrons are already paying to stay, why should they have to pay to park? We stayed at an equivalent hotel the nights before in larger cities and parking was included. We may stay again but likely will look elsewhere.

We stayed 1 night. We enjoyed our stay! I only have 1 complaint. Our room was right next to a laundry area and the wash machine sounded like it was going to come through the connecting wall. Other than that our stay was short and sweet. Everyone was very nice and helpful!!

Seemed to not have many employees to ask for help . They charged 10.00 to park in a asphalt lot next to hotel ungated no cover . Elevators are nosiy . Charge for coffee in the lobby. Only breakfast was alacart . Only seen 2 employees. Felt weird.

I arrived at the Courtyard on Tuesday, September 19th for my stay. After I checked in, I proceeded to my room and I noticed the room was a double queen bed, which I didn't select when I paid for the room. I chose the king bed because I didn't need two beds. I told the front desk clerk a male with dark hair and glasses, that this was different from the room I paid for, and I showed him the room details on the Hotels.Com app. I asked what happened and he left the desk and proceeded to talk to the manager in the back office (I never actually saw the manager, but that is what he told me) and when he returned he stated, "The manager said we overbooked the rooms, which is why you were given a double queen room." I asked him how would I be compensated for the room change and he told me to reach out to Hotels.Com and have them contact the Courtyard. Well, I headed back to the room and called Hotels.com, where I informed them of the situation and Hotels.com called the Courtyard, and after speaking with them the Courtyard manager told Hotels.com the double queen room and king room were the same prices, and that I wouldn't receive a price difference. I then told Hotels.com that the prices were different, which is why I decided to pay more for the king room because I didn't need a double queen room. Hotels.com stated this is what Courtyard said and that there was nothing they could do. I was upset because why would the manager lie about the price differences? Shame on them

The hotel, including parking lot and grounds, were very well maintained and clean, the room was clean and visually pleasing. The staff were all very friendly. However, the hotel is near a railroad, and with trains, sirens.the trash truck coming in the wee hours of the morning, and being able to hear the man above me peeing at 3 AM, I got little sleep.

Great location, friendly helpful staff. Surely recommedable. Just that at prevailing tariff, housekeeping should be done on a daily basis. Another member is required in the breakfast area to cater during rush hours.
