Staying at Rydges was a delightful experience - easy check in & our room was ready early & allowed a later check out. The room was cosy & bed really comfortable. We stopped in for cocktails at the pool bar in the evening which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Due to surrounding road works very difficult to get to the property. Their new IT system is not functioning properly resulting in a 1 hour wait for room service meal to arrive and it was cold. Took 45 minutes to get my valet parked vehicle up to reception

Very well located along Southbank with all it has to offer. Biggest issue for us was that we had told the hotel it was for 3 adults, however the pull out bed wasn't made up, and there was a pair of socks and a hairbrush left inside the bed. For the price paid, this didn't leave a great impression.

Great overnight stay in the heart of Brisbane. Highly recommend!! Accommodation location was very central and easy access for restaurants and cafes. The pool was warm and the service was awesome. Will stay here again.

I was surprised there was no complementary water in the room, the room didn’t get serviced after first day, bathroom handle was broke and the shower gel hadn’t been filled up ,apart from that it was great 😅

This property is in a great location and has a lot of potential. Unfortunately some up keeping in rooms is needed, staffing assistance needs improvement, walking through main reception and no staff great you apart from 1 particular concierge, we waited 40min just to have cutlery brought up to the room and that was after trying to get through on the phone so had to physical walk down to reception. Dinner was cold by that point. Menu could do with an update, signs in the room to assist you have incorrect spelling… Great location, hotel needs improvement

I did not appreciate them upgrading me as I had booked 2 queen beds for my friend and I . Our room had one king bed , so had to get reception to get me a single bed in loungeroom . I wanted another room but all booked out . Please leave booking as it is and no upgrades . Sticky stuff on carpet when we got there so told reception .

Rydges South Bank is a lovely hotel and is in a great location for QPAC and South Bank restaurants & bars. Very enjoyable overnight stay, the staff were very professional and helpful, the room was immaculate and smelled very clean and fresh, the bed was amazingly comfortable and it ticked all the boxes for us. We made use of the car valet service ($55 per vehicle per night - bit on the pricey side!) but all in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay! Would we return? Most definitely!!
