The property was clean and affordable. My only complaint is the sub standard breakfast. Plastic sealed bagels, cereal, and a waffle maker does not constitute breakfast.

I enjoyed my room. It was comfortable and I slept well. I did not use the food service, choosing to go elsewhere. Overall I consider the hotel to be a very good place to stay and a bargain price as well

Its old and smelled like smoke so at some point it was a smoking hotel probably and even though its smoke free it still has that old smoke smell. The smoke smell did not bother me but a not cleaned coffee pot did bother me. Other than that the sheets and towels were crispy clean. The coffee from the breakfast did not taste like coffee at all but the best part is that there are starbucks, McDonalds, DD right at the door step so u can get yourself the coffee of your choice.

Very pleasant hotel to stay at very reasonably priced, friendly staff friendly service rooms are clean and kept up everyday they have free breakfast plenty of parking and is close to many stores and businesses dont have to drive very far to find what your looking for I highly recommend this Hotel it does not have a pool nor a gym but if thats what your looking for then pay a higher price at other near-by hotels that will cost you a lot more for the small amount of time you will swim or work out in a gym so if your looking for a hotel that is comfortable and relaxing and has very clean rooms this is the hotel for you.

A lot of reviews focus on only good or bad. For the price, we had an incredibly comfy bed, an AC that kept our room SO cool, a fridge and microwave that worked, friendly staff, a clean and organized breakfast area, LITERALLY in the middle of everywhere. The room was musty until we turned the AC on and then it was fine the rest of our 4 night stay. Convenient location. Definitely stayed in much smaller rooms. We came for convenience of the state parks and would stay again if we wanted to visit.

The only issue I had was the toilet seat in my room was broken. I made sure to tell the staff prior to leaving so that they wouldn't put a new person in there who might get hurt.

Terrible hotel if not for the rating on hotels.com would never had picked this hotels. Needs upgrades. Tv has 5 channels.Walked in heard some very disturbing words. I went on this trip to visit my daughter for mothers day otherwise i would have left. Too many issues to mention would wish hotels offered refunds for bad referrence.

I booked this place for the weekend since we were planning on hiking around Starved Rock and Matthiessen Park. The place is overall nice and affordable. The staff was nice. The property was clean. Our room was good. There was a few tears in the furniture but otherwise it was clean! Also, most importantly the bathroom was very clean. It was also close to a lot of food places and a cvs. It’s a good location and it was close to the state parks.
