Very nice lodge with shuttle to areas to go in seward if you want to use it. woodsy lodge that blends in well with the forest and mountains surrounding it

Awesome stay at Windsong. Exceeded our expectations and we hope to be back soon. Rooms are clean, beds are cozy, staff were very nice.
5.0
Very nice place, surrounded by wild life, ease access to Seward, just 5 minutes with car or shuttle.

Should I ask to capture him if you had it. I really don't like having a combination shower. Bathtub, it's, it's very difficult and risky for the Italy paper to get In-N-Out.
Elderly. Otherwise it was fine.

Great staff

Beautiful property. Rooms are clean and comfortable but no AC. It was very hot and stuffy in August. Communication between Expedia and property is not great either.

This is a windy place to stay in Seward. Highly recommend the roadhouse restaurant

The WindSong is conveniently located to Seward Alaska. They also provide a free shuttle bus to the Boat areas and to restaurants in marina boat area as well as downtown. The shuttle drivers are Kathleen and Martha and they are very friendly and informative. The WindSong is great but you just request first floor if you have difficulty with stairs and carrying luggage up stairs as there is no elevator. The Lodge has a restaurant and a coffee shop too.

Such a lovely hotel in a rainforest setting. Very evocative of a National Park lodge, the rooms were classic “old school” in the very best way … totally clean and spacious with a large balcony overlooking a forest. Perfect spot to explore Seward!

Very nice and met expectations

Really great spot but its a ways out of seward. This is a plus and minus. I do like yhe location and the restaraunt next to the hotel is great.

Property is nice and has that Alaskan wood cabin vibe that I was looking for. The check in was super quick and the room itself was nice and large and warm (was 50 degrees chilly outside)
Bathroom was small and should be updated. Property is almost in woods, so plenty of flies would buzz in if door was kept open for a few minutes.
But location is great, close to Exit glacier and also to harbor. In Seward there are not many good hotels but this was the best for families. Yes, costed $$ but hey Alaska is expensive like it or not

Beauty place nestles within a mountain forest.

Beautiful setting, yummy restaurant and great shuttle service to town.

about 5 minutes from seward in a quiet wooded area. rooms and lodge are all well maintained, comfortable and up to snuff. coffee shop in lodge and full service restaurant for all meals. shuttle bus to go into seward. there is no comparison to anything else in seward. the others are not as nice, busier, but less expensive.
5.0
Perfect place to stay. Amazing service and we loved the shuttle driver Kathleen
1.5
Room was noisy. Not soundproof at all. Outdated. Bathroom sink and bright light next to bed. Limited options of cold beer. No unsweetened ice tea. Wasn’t allowed to order a beer and sit at a table. I really wouldn’t call it a bar. Way too much money!

Hotel was nice. Beatiful nature all around. Restaurant served good food as well. The staff were very accommodating. I wish the wifi was better but what do you expect, you're in the Alaskan wilderness. Dont forget to make your Exit glacier tour. Its amazing!!

Very comfortable. Staff is very helpful.

The restaurant breakfast was not the best. Cold coffee.
Ran out of plates, had to tell staff to refill missing items …. Even then it took them a long time.
Not worth the 25$

Very nice hotel. Wooded and quiet. Fantastic restaurant. Close to hiking along Exit Glacier, and a quick drive to all Seward offers.

Staff at check in was awesome, room wasn’t ready so we said we’d check out the town and come back. Noticing we had a car, she then proceeded to find us in the lobby and told us to go to exit glacier. Rooms were great and loved the sink outside of the bathroom.

Loved this cute cabin! Outside of town but still close enough for activities. Plus they provide a shuttle to town regularly.

Checkin was terrible

It was very peaceful walking around the different lodges and the restaurant was pretty good

This property is really pretty but the rooms are very basic for the cost. No frills, but clean. Nice place to walk around the campus. Close to Seward. The Salmon Bake restaurant next door is great.

The room smelled amazing and the bed was so soft and wonderful

There is a free shuttle bus at the hotel entrance that departs every hour to the city. It is a very quiet place and is highly recommended.

Beautiful property. Service was so-so especially since we had to struggle to get my mom an ADA compliant room - we had booked two rooms for 3 nights and let them know she wasn’t able to walk too much - I would have thought that was enough to make sure they gave us ADA compliant rooms but nope. The restaurant next door is not connected to the property- you can’t order food from there and have it delivered to your room or have the food charged to your room. That said, it’s a beautiful property on the way to Exit glacier and out of the hustle bustle of Seward. Rooms are a nice size and have fridges but not microwaves. I do feel like $400/night/room is a bit much so I didn’t feel like it was value for money.
4.0
Beautiful lobby and restaurant. Short drive to Exit glacier and downtown Seward. Room average to above-average though sink outside of bathroom next to bed was a bit unusual. No in-room microwave. Overall great place to stay and would return.
4.0
Good place to stay but away from the main spots of Seward. We had to request extra pillows and hand towels which is surprising for a place this nice.

Received no help or extra information at check in, just the key.
The room needs a serious remodel; who wants a sink next to their bedside. Nothing modern about these rooms.
The next morning I went in search for coffee and a bagel and at the breakfast restaurant was informed if I wanted breakfast i should have asked at check in.
A knock at our door at 9:45am to ask when we will be checking out? I thought check out was at 11am.

We were put in the Windflower building. The property is nice and the room was fairly clean. However there is some maintenance issue, possibly with the pipes. When using any water, there is a VERY loud vibrating sound from the walls. It also appears to be happening when we aren't using the water, but possibly when other rooms in the bldging run water as well. Not the peaceful night sleep we were envisioning for the price.

Nice lodge. About as nice as you can get in Alaska. Multiple separate buildings around a nice wooded semi circular drive. Coffee shop in lobby.
