I had a pleasant weekend, slept quite well in the king size bed..The room offers good coffee too
5.0 / 10.0
nice comfortable stay and really friendly staff, not much around there in the evenings but it's just a few minutes walk from Amstel station and the metro or tram into the city
or you can walk right into the centre along the river in 45mins
you have to request for your room to be cleaned but that worked fine and ultimately it's more eco friendly

From the super friendly check in to the excellent customer service we received throughout our stay, Hotel Casa was an absolute joy.
Easy to walk to from the station, it is signposted. We also walked into Amseterdam central serveral times and this took about 45 mins, but was very straight forward and picturesque.
Great area for brunch and evening meals. Lots of high quality food venues nearby.
The rooftop bar at the hotel itself was a must for the sunsets.

Nice hotel with spacious rooms. Said to have a rooftop. Stayed 4 nights and it was closed every day even though it was sunny and 22 degrees. Also chromecast didn’t work. Great service though and would stay again.

Everything was mostly good until the last night when a little mouse came in our room and climbed on the bed with us. I am not afraid of mice so we chanced it back under the door and put a towel along the bottom so it couldn’t get back in.

Stayed for work and was very comfortable. Lifts were quite slow but everything else was great.

Coffee bar with the best lattes. Water bottle fill area. Everything we needed was provided for at this hotel.

Modern, clean rooms and friendly personnel. Located close to Amstelstation from where the city centre can be reached via several metro lines in 10 minutes. Train and tram connections are available as well. Nice café and restaurant and a little snack and drinks shop are in the lobby too.

Nice place. They should have put that they would have an electrical shut down on Sunday

Modern hotel with spacious rooms. Staff were very friendly. Would have been handy if there had been air conditioning in the rooms, but I knew what I was getting myself in for. Would be a great place to stay when cooler. A 5-min walk from Amstel station, can get to the centre within 20 minutes. Highly recommended!

Good hotel but the room was a bit bare. No iron in the room or aircon but sad

Everything was amazing! There wasn’t mush to do right around the hotel but it was super easy to get to public transportation.

I’ve stayed at many hotels in Amsterdam. At least 30 over the last few years. As a bustling city it’s always difficult to find somewhere that hits the spot and one that you find satisfying in every aspect. In general hotels in Amsterdam fall short on a few points especially central ones. Hotel Casa bucked that trend and left me feeling quite content that I’d found somewhere that I would actually visit again. In fact I did visit it again as I stayed for an extra 2 nights! it wasn’t all plane sailing though and I did have some issues. Here’s my thoughts.
I always feel that hotels should offer the highest level of service to any of its customers. After all, we may have worked hard and saved up for a year to relax on holiday and it isn’t too much to ask for given we are paying good money for our stay. Hotel Casa was a little out of the city but the Metro is so frequent. Reception was efficient and friendly, I always felt that they valued your custom and in general were always courteous when passing by which is a big plus. The room was clean and well equipped but my only gripe was I was on the 11th floor facing the sun on a really hot week. The room was like a greenhouse and unbearable. A fan was included but it did nothing more than blow hot air around. This spoilt my stay to be honest. I did move to another room but had 4 nights of hell and never slept through any. Room 2 was much cooler. Had a problem problem with the cafe too but it is what it is. I will probably go back.

This was actually an extended stay after spending 4 nights in a greenhouse that was far too warm and ruined my stay. To think I’d saved up and was looking forward to this. Anyway, the change of room made all the difference and made this hotel stand out from crowd. If only id had this room for the previous 4 nights I’d have rated this hotel as the best stay in Amsterdam and believe me, having used over 30 different ones in a few years I feel qualified to know the good the bad and the ugly! Hotel Casa certainly lived up to expectations on my extended stay bit fell short initially. However, the staff in general make this a truly standout hotel and go above and beyond to make things are right in the long run. I’d stay again, no question. Also, to note. Understand that a heatwave in Amsterdam is rare so feel as though in any other occasion any room in this hotel would be fine. However, if you get room 1170 on a warm spell ask for an alternative one!

The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. In fact, everything was great apart from the fact that the room was not as clean as I would expect for the price I paid.

Property is fine but housekeeping cannot be trusted. Lost an item in my room and they kept it to themselves. Also, strangely lost access to my room before checkout time but had someone from housekeeping lingering around to open the door for me.

This hotel is a short walk to the trams that will take you anywhere in the Amsterdam area; about a 30-45 minute ride to the central station area. The hotel was a pleasant surprise and one of the nicest ones we’ve stayed in. It has a very nice cafe area on the main floor and a roof top restaurant on deck 8 that had the best loaded nachos and sweet potato fries ever! Lots of young faces as the hotel was founded in the 50s to help the student housing shortage. Rooms now open to visiting guests and we loved our stay here.

I really liked the design and friendliness of the hotel. Staff was quick to action and very helpful, the food was simple but really tasteful.
Our rooms was clean and spacous, there wasn’t really anything we could have asked for more.
The trainstation was close by, there were bikes for rent (absolute must do!) and a cab was an easy fix.
This visit made me fall in love with Amsterdam all over again.

Great hotel to explore Amsterdam away from the center in a quiet safe clean modern part of the city just 15-20 minutes to the center by tram by the 24 Or 48 hour ticket, which gives you unlimited transfers within the city transit system. Great hotel staff great breakfast great interiors, modern functional comfortable, large rooms comfortable beds great parking overall if staying inside Amsterdam center is not an absolute priority strongly consider this one

Needs room service, or even coffee after 9 o’clock at night would be a bonus.
