Overall, the facilities are excellent and conveniently located in the downtown area, Kuching. We had a nice stay at the hotel and staff were friendly. Directory of the operation, Kenny Tham was extremely helpful with arranging a day tour for us.

Staff were polite and friendly. Room was reasonably appointed but is in a serious need for a refurbishment. Breakfast basic, being limited, but still good. Wifi free and reliable.

It is near to famous historical sites, therefore very convenient. However, the facility is older and needs updating. My group booked many rooms, and a number of them were damp and moldy. several requested change of rooms. Our booking indicated non-smoking rooms requested, but this was not honored, and my room had ash tray. The hotel is was listed as 4-star. Hence, there is an expectation of certain quality threshhold. Otherwise, it can be a very nice place. At least, the staff were all very nice, welcoming and helpful.

On 1st day check-in I called Receptionist @10.30 pm to seek for House keeping to send a towel and a pillow. I called again for the 2nd time after 15 minutes no delivery from Housekeeping. I gave up 15 minutes after when there was no delivery and call was not pick up by the receptionist

Not bad but maybe because it is old building, some of the fittings looked up kept i.e. mouldy especially in the bathroom.

friendly and prompt staff, nice river view (even if the building in front blocks a bit) from club room. breakfast buffet at M2 had variety and yummy. enjoyed toast with charcoal fire. laksa at noodle stand was yummy!

Great location, nice river view from the room, hotel is outdated, first room we got was standard room - small bugs in the bed and on the table, very dirty behind the bed, I complaint the room a we got executive room in the high level with nice view, this room was clean and ok, but was musty, so I need to call reception to open window because it was locked, very debilitating after flight and night check in to solve these things, so forget standard room if you want stay here, rooms are spacious with all needed equipment, they should improve their cleaning standard, I have never dirty room in 4 star hotel like this, nice staff in the hotel is plus
