Great staff, cute place. Beds need updating but it was fine. Old place but clean and relatively kept up. I’d stay here again

Great stay when in Rockford. Well run with clean rooms.
They are always trying to make a better stay for you.
Only drawback is no shampoo, bar soap only...

The room was clean. The bathroom was big and enough to fit my wheelchair. It has a mini fridge and microwave which was very convenient. My weekend get aways will be at this location moving forward. 🙂
3.7
Very dated property in "sketchy" area. During check in the police arrived to check on a potential "domestic" incident. I was a solo traveller and stayed for only one night as I was just driving thru so I managed with no issues however I would not recommend this property for families.
3.7
Room was dated, but clean. Old carpeting had stains but sheets and comforter were newer. For a one night stay for a cheap price, it was worth it.
3.7
Very nice staff

The carpet in all the room was dirty and very wet

Their website could use an update. Pictures show breakfast, but there is also a note about COVID saying no breakfast. There is no breakfast.

This motel was ok for one night. Convenient location.

Decent property

I will start by saying the lady at the desk was very sweet and friendly. The property was average, the room was a decent size, one of the beds was comfortable (being a firm mattress) and the second was a back pain sufferers worst nightmare (very soft, but plush, so not in a bad way, just bad for me). The room had a stale cigarette smell and an old food sort of odor. The carpet had not been vacuumed, with that missed, I grabbed some disinfectant and paper towels from my car, gave the door handles, counter tops, and bathroom some disinfecting for my own peace of mind.
I did not have high expectations going into my stay (hence being prepared with cleaning products).

The location was great for getting where I needed to in town. I felt safe and it was quiet for being on such a major road. The wifi dropped several times which was frustrating when I was trying to arrange meetings and do business online. The refrigerator was not plugged in so I am glad I noticed to plug it in a few hours before bringing food in.

Front office staff very helpful

Great location.

The staff I interacted with were the nicest staff I've ever met at a hotel! Very helpful. The Inn has a collection of books in the main lobby and guests are encouraged to pick a book to read and TAKE IT HOME! What a cool idea!
The INN is a bit dated in the decor, and given it's age it showed some dents and dings as expected. The only issue I had was when a mini-monsoon rainstorm hit the area and caused a leak in the roof of my room. I let staff know about it and they were attentive.

Love the environment
3.7
It was decent

Nice mom and pop type motel. Clean room, friendly staff, and restaurants close by. Coffee available 24 hours. Beats the "box cutter" chains.
3.7
The staff was friendly and the motel clean. The decor was old and the neighbors were noisy. Someone smoked marijuana outside my room, a non-smoking room, and the air conditioner, pulled the smoke/smell into the room. When I checked in, there were only partial towels and washcloths in the room plus no amenities other than a bar of soap.
3.7
Good for a nights stay! No frills, just the basics!
3.7
The room was satisfactory. The TV was poor worked for what I needed.

Room was amazing

Love the roominess at this motel. Convenient, friendly staff, clean room. We stay here any time we’re in the area.

older but still good for the cost.

Terrible cleaning
3.7
Nice stay, would stay again.
3.7
Nice people. Good price. Had that 60s motel feel. I will take that over the over-priced sterile chains.
3.7
Generally quiet neighborhood in the evening, staff is friendly and responsive.
3.7
The property was supposed to be non smoking and the room smelled really bad like smoke, also extremely dirty.
3.7
Staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and resupplied with the usual soap, towels, etc. The bed was large and comfortable, however needed to stack pillows as they were fairly flat. A comfortable stay after a long road trip.

Great people

Conveniently located and always the cheapest. Always choose Alpine Inn every time I take a trip home to see the family.
3.7
Easy to get to, quiet area

Room wasn't worth the price. On Tuesday of my stay had to call police because kids were calling rooms and cussing people out and threatening them. I was one of them. They didn't ever offer a discount or even acknowledge there was a problem.

Just not satisfied

I always enjoy my stay at the Alpine Inn! A nice old school motel/hotel that is simple and clean. Thanks as always!

Rooms had a very strong cigarette smoke smell. Bedding was stained. Carpets were dirty and stained.
