We stayed in several hotels in Japan and this was the best. Excellent location in the midst of the city, good breakfast, large room, good restaurants in the hotel and nearby. Good views from room and the roof top bar. Plus excellent value for the price of the room.
2.5
Great well priced hotel near everything. Would recommend if your in Hiroshima.

Amazing view from the corner room! Pool wasn’t included in the stay which was unfortunate but the facilities were nice and very central to all tourist attractions, super close to walk to all!

Spacious room on the 25th floor with magnificent view.
Great location close to the Memorial Park.
Very nice Japanese breakfast,a welcome change after many buffet breakfasts.

Had a wonderful stay in Hiroshima. Hotel was in a great location. Staff were very nice and the room was great. We had a great view of Hiroshima castle.

Loved this hotel and this city. Sad that we had only planned for one night as we would have happily stayed longer!

Short stay for sightseeing.

The RIHGA is located in the center of Hiroshima with easy walking access to the Peace Park and the castle. An easy 10 minute cab ride from the Shinkansen.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The front desk and concierge service were both very helpful. I would highly recommend the RIHGA. If your budget allows, get a room on one of the higher floors. The view is spectacular.
If you’ve never been to Hiroshima, make sure you try the okonkmiyaki, you won’t regret it.

The Hotel is the most luxury in my trip of all 5 destinations. Well, a little bit old money luxury feel to it but it is good. I spent 2 nights there, so they gave me 2 dinning discount ticket 10% for breakfast and 20% for dinner and a drink ticket. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The room is spacious. It built right inside a shopping center, so dinning options outside the hotel isn't a problem. Walking distance to everywhere including the boat ride to the Island. It is extremely convenient. They have pool and spa but for non-club members it would cost ¥4400 for 2 hrs which is not bad for spa and pool after a hot morning and just want to hideout for the rest of the day. In the pool area, they have a jacuzzi that was perfect for me to melt my tiredness away. The staff are helpful and very nice. The Breakfast buffet is a little under ¥3000 which is a feast anything you could imagine would be there. I was able to make my own omurice. They have the omelet, rice and beef curry. 😘 They don't put them together for you but I'm creative. And definitely try the Lucky Bakery in the square next door. Fantastic 👌

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous, stately hotel. Spacious, sparkling room with a window seat to take in the incredible views. Enjoyed the drink perks and sunsets in the Sky Lounge. My wife loved the classical background music to the excellent “western” breakfast. All staff we encountered were courteous, friendly and helpful. Perfect location for getting to know Hiroshima.

The hotel looks quite esrablished: very (awkwardly to some extent) large room, professional sraff, well maintained facilities and so on. The bus depot directly connected to the airport was quite convenient. There are variety of restaurants and nice cafes within walking distance as well as the city' s landmark "atomic bombed building". I am still puzzled ... why it was sold for unbelievably low price....

Not as many amenities available as I hoped. $4400 yen to use the pool. Trash. Wasn’t advised (and couldn’t locate) wifi, either.
View was fantastic from the upper floors, though.

Beautiful property. Large clean rooms, tasteful amenities and very helpful staff. Views from the 29th floor were amazing with being able to see the Hiroshima castle

Probably the best choice if staying in Hiroshima. Ask for a corner room high up, the view is incredible.

The very first staff we encountered wasn't friendly at all. I felt she was almost looking down on us. It is a shame she tainted our entire stay.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Immaculate room.
2.0
Pros: roomy room, great location, helpful staff.
Cons: Many. They will nickel and dime you for everything. They wanted to charge us almost $100 to check in an hour early, and even the Japanese style bath has a steep fee. Also, this property is aging and it shows. There was mold in the bathroom and the fixtures are old.
The staff was excellent.

After leaving an APA hotel in Tokyo this was a nice surprise. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant on the top floor was also great and the staff was super friendly and accommodating.
5.0
Lovely hotel with an amazing view over the city. We could see the castle, the football stadium and the hills from our room. Short walk to both Hiroshima castle and the Atomic bomb dome. Only downside was so many local restaurants closed at 9pm even at the weekend!
