We stayed at hotel after two weeks intensive traveling in Japan so this hotel provided a perfect place for us to recuperate. We love the breakfast buffet and the location of the hotel is very good. It is quite Central, close to luxury brand name stores. We also loved the hotel lounge, which is on the rooftop with great view of Saigon river.

The water pressure in the shower is low depending on the time. The water pressure in the shower early in the morning is fine, and it was good when I filled the bathtub.

This hotel was horrible in every way possible, we paid a lot for Vietnam for this hotel. First of all checking in is a slow process , we asked that we are celebrating our Anniversary to get a nicer room with a beautiful view, the receptionist said we have a great view, when we got to the room, it was a huge bed, like two king size bed together covering the whole room with no place to put the suitcases and the room had hair on the bed, floor and bathroom shower, also the windows were all figgy or very dirty and the view was a dumpster and other people’s toof, when I called to ask for a manager. The receptionist wouldn’t transfer me and I asked 4 times beofre he put me on hold and a person who claimed to be a front seat supervisor picked up and said she can have someone come and clean and we paid for this category with absolutely horrible view, she finally came up to show us another room who was a weird lay out with same exact view, we told her to give us a minute to decide if we want to change the room and she was already gone and no where to be found. We asked for help at 1pm with our language after called twice because they were 15 minutes late we decided to take all our bags down and they met us at the elevator and my girlfriend already carried all her things down by herself , we wanted to use the gym and it was super hot, so we asked the guy to turn on the ac in two different occasions and he seem not to be able to do that. this is not a 5 star hotel in any shape or form

Excellent location close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was great and the hotel is very clean and had all the attributes of a five star property.

Chairs are too bulky and heavy. They take up too much space in a twin bedded room.

Whenever going to HCMC, VN. (over the past 20 years) we’ve stayed at Grand Hotel. It’s always a pleasant experience with wonderful and friendly staff.

Property is nice and centrally located. Staff was super nice and helpful. A few things they should upgrade:
-Gym equipment is old, AC couldn’t be turned up and it was hot.
-Breakfast foods were plentiful but mediocre at best. The best thing I found there was the Vietnamese coffee.
The breakfast floor manager Elvis was beyond helpful and very polite, he speaks English well and made us feel special

Hotel was generally positive. Service wasn't as enthusiastic as I was used to in other hotels in Vietnam. Staff seem confused that I wasn't in a suit or business casual, but had the indecency to check in wearing a tshirt and khakis, regardless of being on the other side of planet from my passport issuer.
Breakfast buffet was fine. Grand cafe prices were treble to quintuple what they are on the street. Nice view of the river, though.
When I left I requested a taxi, and the doorman kindly set me up with a non-metered and beatup taxi, and a driver who charged me double the Grab rate and then tried to murder (acoustically and literally) all the scooters on the way there.

Your hotel is very nice. I would like to suggest that you should think about the available time of gym. Elite people would like to use gym in the very early morning before staring work but the gym starts from 7:00 am. That is too late to go.
