Everyone was awesome. One bad experience at front desk. Both my room cards were not working on elevators and rooms. I shared this with front desk worker who was leaving for day and she quickly reset cards. Same thing 10 min later,
Cards not working on lifts and rooms. Another girl up front imsisted my son
Must have latch on door. I checked, it wasn’t and she refused to look into further i.e. log into PC. Weird and rude but all else great.

One of our favorite hotels in DC. Staff is amazing and the rooms are comfortable and quiet.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and treated as if we had arrived at home, if our home was a haven of indulgence and pampering. Can’t say enough good things about the Club Level perks-HOW do they remember our names? Staying at the Ritz for our first trip to DC made the experience AMAZING. Learned a lot of insider curated tips to navigate the district from concierge :)

Took my teenagers for a DC trip for spring break. Hotel was convenient and nice. Not as nice as other hotels in this brand but still a good location and safe. Rooms are small but so is everything in the area.

Alright so as for my stay, everything went perfect, well Just a heads up if you are visiting from out of town, please do not get a rental. You will be better off taking a uber/lyft to your destination far away. Driving in and out of here is a nightmare, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Everything from casual bars and restaurants to upscale places are within a 10 minute walking distance, there are some places I reviewed in DC that are included. Plus, you can avoid wasting the 40-60 dollars daily parking as well. almost but I still gave it 5 stars. I came for my birthday and while alot of people expect perfect service from the Ritz because of its reputation, and price, I have learned from prior stays with this Hotel in other locations, execution is key.
My host Kenneth, and Zele were very welcoming, pleasant and courteous. Whenever an issue arose, they apologized and offered solutions which I encountered my first night.
I went out with my friends to do some pre-birthday celebration and came back with leftovers worth 200.00. When I came back to my room the fridge that was in there was the honor bar already stocked with wine beverages which if I removed would be charged to me. I needed the space for my food and even if I temporarily removed the items, my stuff still wouldn’t fit. I was too drunk to go back downstairs so it was just wasted food.
I brought this to Zele, and Kenneth attention and they apologized and advised I can bring any leftovers to the front desk for them to

The room I reserved for my Mom wasn't ready when we checked in. She had to wait over 20 minutes and when her room was finally ready the heat in her room broke down. She had to spend the night in a different room. Eventually, My Mom was placed in a nice room with working heat. Once Mom was settled we had a wonderful and relaxing New Year's weekend.

We enjoyed our short stay/1 night at tithe Ritz Carlton on 22nd Street. The front desk team was awesome and so accommodating to my request that I had prior and during my stay. The concierge staff was nice as well and very helpful.
The hotel was clean and I loved the 5:30pm cookies that was available for the guest in the lobby. They were delicious. The restaurant food was decent, I paid $11.00 for 2 chocolate chip cookies that weren’tthat great and hard. Otherwise, it was okay.
My only negative would be that they charge $75 to use the microwave. I went to dinner in town and brought back food and sis not feel like paying more than the cost of my dinner just to heat it up. I think they should have an available microwave for guest to use especially with how much you pay per night for the rooms.
Other than that I’d stay there again as it is close to everything and only 16 minutes from Ronald Reagan International airport:)

I really like the hotel property, it is clean and luxurious. The morning coffee and newspaper service is really considerate. The location is convenient with a lot of dining options and close to most of Washington's landmarks.
However, my room wasn't ready at normal check-in time. I have stayed in many hotels and this was the first time the room wasn't ready upon arrival. My wife and I had to wait almost an hour for the room to be ready. Although Nick was super polite and offered us $60 breakfast credit, it still left a very unpleasant experience with us. The other thing is, I called the hotel a day before arrival to confirm EV charging, I was told that there were two charging stations in the hotel. After I arrived, valet parking said no charging station for hotel guests (charging station only for residence, but I clearly said I would stay in the hotel to Front Desk). As a result, I had to drive 2km to George Town for fast charging. Not sure why the front desk and valet are not on the same page with this. In terms of the gym, not sure why hotel customers have to pay $15/per person per day, first time this happened to me after many hotel stays. Taking my stay at St Regis Manhattan for example, the EV charging is available even not within their own garage, hotel room is ready even we arrived 2 hour earlier.
Overall, the hotel itself is very nice, but there are just too many details that need to be improved for a reputable brand.

Polite concierge, good check in, bottle of water in room.

I liked the property overall! I thought the shower was a little tight considering how much the room costs!
The room was small.
The young lady who checked me in didn’t share the procedure of the bellman - when my luggage would be brought up to my room. I was late arriving at my engagement because I was told that I needed to let the front desk know when I returned.

Good location, nice hotel, very very helpful staff.
Food options were lacking to say the least. I was given a less than ideal room-- I think Expedia rooms are not the best rooms.

Nothing to rave about. Seems below average for Ritz Carlton standards. Rooms are a little musty and dated. Tiny shower. No coffee in the room. Better options in DC.

What I liked best about this hotel was the spectacular gym. It had everything and more. This hotel provided exceptional services in all areas. High quality, high performance, friendly and enjoyable. This is definitely the hotel to select if you want to pamper yourself and your family.

The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our unique situation. I do wish there were a pool on site with lounging possibilities, but there's not much that can be done about that! Everyone was so nice, and the room was immaculate. Definitely 5 stars!
