The hall carpets and walls were very dirty. The room carpet was dirty. We requested a room with a hide a bed, and we got it but no sheets or blankets

This was by far the worst hotel I ever stayed in my life! First the smell when you 1st walk like sewer water then when your fighting through that and finally make it to the room it had mildew carpet the bathroom was sooo dirty and nasty the toilet seat was literally peeling and cracked.. Omg this hotel needs to be demolished and rebuilt!!
3.6
Ok
3.6
The room smelled like old water. There were no extra linens for the sofa bed or towels. There was mold on the ceiling and mildew on the shower curtain. Lizards inside the hallway. Bathroom was unswept or mopped and bathtub looked filthy.
3.6
The hotel isn’t very well taken care of. Carpet is dirt. AC wasn’t working on our floor in the hallways. Front desk wasn’t very friendly and when we asked for clean towels they didn’t have any. It was very disappointing.

Very clean & friendly staff!

Not so good. The lady who works in the afternoon is excellent. She deserves a raise. She was always helpful and I sincerely appreciate her service.
Other than that -
1. Room door was broken (Room 223)
2. I was there for 7 days (had two reservations) and my room was cleaned once.
3. The humidity inside my room was insane (know hotel is on a lake but printer paper in my room would be wet after sitting on my desk for about an hour)
4. Floor of Room 223 was slanted at a very high degree of angle for a floor
5. Trash was picked up every 2-3 days and the size of the trash can was tiny
The people who service this hotel were excellent. The crew that makes breakfast, the crew that puts out the coffee, the greek/middle eastern lady that works on Saturday afternoon and some of the afternoons on the weekdays were all excellent.
The owners of this hotel need a wake up call. There are maintenance issues with this hotel that are a lawsuit waiting to happen. The feeling I received was - money is good because we are right next to the convention center so to the hell with the condition of the hotel, people will stay here anyway because of proximity.

All the staff were super nice. My room was convenient and nice. I loved seeing the ducks outside every morning.
3.6
The first room I was given was filthy!!!! They were able to change my room to a cleaner one thankfully. The front desk attendant was fairly rude in how they treated me, but another attendant later in my stay was more friendly.
3.6
The system was down. I couldn't check in. I had to find another hotel. I damand a refund
3.6
It was ok

Algira was wonderful, friendly and professional. She helped me get checked in early and arranged airport shuttle at 3am. I ordered breakfast and dinner in the restaurant it was priced well and the wait staff was fantastic

I was shocked this was a Hilton. So much mold and floors, ceilings and elevator are so unstable, I feared the place would collapse. We checked out early. Front desk staff was understanding but they had no control of the condition of the property. Paid over 200 for one night and was completely disappointed.
3.6
Front desk employees are nice. We stayed the three days with no toilet paper we asked and the room never was done or serviced and we asked personally. The room rug is disgustingly, bathroom is all rust and old
3.6
Arrived a day after major flooding, so the trucks had not arrived. Still got the best fish meal my husband says he ever had in the little restaurant downstairs. Lovely surprise!
3.6
Shortage of towels. We reserved a room for 6 people but were only given 2 towels. When I requested more, I was told they were out, but could go to other vacant rooms and take there towels. No free breakfast as advertised. We were told we have to order from the menu and pay extra.

My stay was due to a family reunion and the room where our meet and greet took place was set up nicely. When we got to our rooms there was an odor of marijuana in the hallway and then our room had an odor. Maybe pets? There were some cleanliness issues like cobwebs and dust. Our sheets had stains on them and just a heads up, ask for more towels when having a group of 5-6 in a junior suite. Ok so one of the biggest issues is that everyone in my family group keys kept deactivating. EVERYTIME we left our room, when we returned, our keys would not work! The staff was nice enough to continue to give us new ones but the hassle of having to return to the front desk was aggravating.

I use orbit to reserve and pay for rooms for employees. Hilton asked for the card on file when my employee arrived. Due to my employee not having my company card on hand, they sent me a pdf authorization form to my email that had to be printed out and faxed back. On top of that, they changed me a $50 dollar fee to do the authorization.

Hotel was nice on the outside and in the lobby. However the rooms were dirty. The floors were wet from the humidity in the rooms. Had to get maintenance to come reattach the inside security lock. Would not stay again.
3.6
This is not the place for me. The rooms are average at best.
They only have room service every other day, and
When they come
All they do is give clean towels and empty the trash. They do not make your bed or vacuum your room.
So if you want clean towels and replenished coffee in your room you have to bring the towels in hand to get clean towels and Coffee. Oh yeah the room phones are non operational so if you need anything you have to walk to the main lobby to talk to the front desk.
Also the tv has no channel guide so have to search one
Channel at a time to find what you’re looking for.
I strongly do not recommend this hotel as you can get better value with many more services at other locations.

Great place

Quick stay. Beds were cozy.
3.6
The property and rooms are dated and need to be remodeled
3.6
Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name on this facility!
Upon arriving, we thought it was just in need of an update and the hallways smelled very strong of evergreen room spray but whatever.
When we got to our room, it smelled kind of musty. As I was unpacking, I stepped over to the desk and onto SOPPING wet carpet. We called the front and they sent maintenance who fiddled around with the a/c and reported it fixed. It did stop getting wetter.
The pull out couch was a joke. The mattress wasn’t even attached to the frame.
The next morning, we woke up congested and coughing but went into NOLA for the day. When we returned, the smell of mold was overwhelming! At this point, we are solidly settled and figured we only had one night left so we opened the window until we went to sleep to air it out.
While we were out no house keeping came even just to vacuum and pick up trash. The kids went to the desk to get towels and told the clerk no one had gotten the trash. She handed them trash bags!
The pool was open but dirty…the hot tub wasn’t hot but was even dirtier than the pool. By the time we left, I was sick from all the mold which indicates that this has been an ongoing problem bc that much mold doesn’t happen overnight.
3.6
The staff were very helpful. Though the menu options are limited the food is good. The room is clean. My only suggestion is that the drapes don’t close all the way so too much light at night.
3.6
Poor room service
3.6
The property was disgusting. A roach jumped on me off the front desk upon arrival. The building is old and falling apart. The first room they put us in they were still doing maintenance on so we had to switch late at night, annoying when wanting to get there and go to bed. The tub would not drain in 2nd room they told me it was a “build up of months of hair” DISGUSTING!!! A worker was literally painting the baseboards white painting over dirt, hair, dust, bugs. The rooms were slanted like the building is about to collapse. I would have moved if it weren’t for being attached to the venue we were performing at. Do not recommend staying here. It is not anything like a Hilton. It’s more like a run down Motel 6 in the most run down area.
3.6
The rooms need to be remodeled. The amount of moisture in the rooms is disgusting. The shower had pieces missing, falling off, and rusted. The pillows were basically air. No blow dryer in the room. Took 30 minutes to find one.
3.6
There were pubic hairs in the tub - that were there when I checked in. It was past midnight and after traveling all day, I had no energy to deal with it. Unsure if the tub was actually cleaned between guests; I had a friend bring some bleach and cleaned it so I knew it was clean.
3.6
It’s pretty tired. But it’s convenient The people were really great
3.6
For a Hilton property, the rooms could use an update. Also, none of the toilets flushed in the lobby restroom or our room. Breakfast buffet was not available due to low occupancy! Would not stay here again unless I had to.
3.6
Somewhat worn and "tired", but the staff was friendly and our room was clean. They have a nice pool and pretty planting around the hotel. Right next to the levee, and the park there was a pretty walk.
3.6
Not the greatest Hilton to go to. Needs a complete makeover. Old old carpet. Tub didnt drain. Stains on the comforter and sheets. Bathroom ceiling was about to fall in.
3.6
The so called restaurant was a joke. Didn’t even have half the stuff shown on the menu.
3.6
Smells like mold throughout the hotel. Dirty/stained carpets. Phone doesn’t work in room 316. Floor on room 316 is sinking. A/C in room 216 is not working but manager doesn’t do anything because it still blows air. Front desk stated they have no clean towels. Housekeeping asked why do I need towels if I checkout today at 1200, even when it’s 9:30 am (I guess I’ll use my kid’s wet towel). Bath tub on 316 was clogged and maintenance never showed up. We had to shower with ankle deep water. Pillows and bedding stink.

what a shabby hotel with the price
3.6
Very nice pet friendly hotel. Great location! Great walking paths along lake ponchatrain.
3.6
Quite and Comfortable.

This hotel hasn't been updated since Katrina. On top of that the entire establishment didn't have hot water for the 2 out of 3 nights I had booked. I don't know about the 3rd night because I left without checking out, figured they needed the money. People were friendly but obviously accustomed to being subpar at best. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name on this "Hotel"
3.6
This is absolutely the worst Hilton i’ve ever stayed in. Our shower was clogged, they wouldn’t let us get more towels, no breakfast, just an overall terrible experience. I can’t believe it
