We are pretty sure that our bed was missing a mattress. Bed was really hard, like sleeping on the floor and pillows so small and bad. I don’t mind travel with my own pillow, but bed should be better.

The toilet seat was not that clean, but otherwise it was a very nice room, and we enjoyed the facilities, especially the fridge

For me the quality of the room was perfectly in line with the price. It was clean and quiet, centrally located, and smooth check in. But the sofa bed didn't really work as a sofa (very uncomfortable), and the mattress topper on the bed was very thin and tended to fold under your body in an uncomfortable way. But, to repeat. It was considerably cheaper than other hotels in the neighborhod.

From the website there was no way to know the family room consisted of two floors. The steep spiral staircase is dangerous for small children.
The fan was terribly loud and there was no eay to turn it down.
The room was too hot when we arrived but thankfully the heat could be turned down.
Although the cleaning overall was ok, there were some sticky stains on the floor.
I don't know what the microwave oven was meant for, as there were no plates or cutlery. Also we would have needed some napkins! I was also a little disappointed there was no honey for the tea.
The beds downstairs were nice, a little hard but that's ok. I could have used another pillow though. A shelf and/or some hooks would be a great addition as there was no place to put your stuff.
This was a cheap alternative so I guess you get what you pay for. However, a few small and affordable changes would make it much more practical!

Wouldn't recommend this hotel to families.
Don't use this hotel if you have a car. Great for packpackers.

It’s in the centre, the most tourist attractions are in walking distance.
I think the hotel has been recently renovated, it’s in good condition and very clean.

Unusual place, no staff and entry is by keycode at street door, in lobby and then at room door. Large room, small bathroom. Large window that doesn't open and blacked out so can't see anything. A little expensive for the overall situation, but a good location for walking through the city for shopping and food.

I provided my passport information well advance as requested by the hotel but no entry code was provided at the time of the check in. The only way to contact the hotel was via phone number that costs about 80 cents per minute and my phone with a prepaid SIM card wouldn’t allow me to make such phone calls. Finally with the help of Hotels.com chat I was able to receive a code 40 minutes late. We get to the room and two of the beds are not made, and initially didn’t even appear to exist because they are compact and need to be assembled which I had no idea how to do because I’ve never seen such before. I contacted Hotels.com chat again but they couldn’t help. Finally I stopped a guest in the hallway who kindly came to our room and set the beds for us. He said he also didn’t know beforehand. Due to all that difficulty I was late to my meeting.

Pros: Excellent location, easy walking distance from railway station and long distance bus terminal. Close to Turku Art Museum. Lots of shopping nearby, easy walk to downtown tourist attractions. Room is large and clean, bathroom is clean.
Cons: Room is ugly, depressing with no decor, and spartan, sparse furniture that looks as if gathered from a charity shop closure sale at a good discount. Window taped over instead of blinders or curtain, cannot be opened (for the better since it is looking at an airshaft). Makes you feel you crushed in a shelter, apart from paying 100 euros. No reception (you get a texted code that opens main door and room), so you cannot leave your baggage if you arrive before 4 PM nor on the day you leave. No breakfast, although there is a minifridge so you can buy supplies in nearby food stores.

Dirty and outdated hotel. No staff on-site.

It would be good to provide soap and to remind people not to talk in the corridors at night.

The best thing omena did was give me a full refund. There's a lot I could say, but I want to leave you with the one that'll stick in my mind forever: there was a big smear of blood on one of the doors next to mine. We're talking like 8cm by 5cm, so a substantial size! The room was extremely unclean, tattered, and resembled the sort of place you'd get murdered. This was enhanced by the seeming lack of security other than a coded bedroom door - that anyone could see and use. This was one of the worst places I've ever been (and as a student, that's quite an achievement), and I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I couldn't even bring myself to sleep through the night, and quickly gathered up my stuff and found a new hotel! Note that there is a second omena slightly across the city which is apparently quite nice (didn't trust to see), so this could just be a VERY bad example of an omena.

This is a hotel that has taken over part of a residential building near the train station. There is no staff and no on-site help available to store luggage, change rooms if needed, make requests of any kind. You are on your own. The hallways show a lot of wear and tear and there is absolutely no character to the place. Bathroom floor floods when showering. Lighting offers one extremely bright setting.
Price is too high for the value of the hotel- would not recommend.

Good central location, near cafes & shopping street. Difficult to find: it's an apartment building, very small Omenahotelli sign by the door. Free parking at night on the street. If travelling with kids, the extra beds were fiddly to open, need to make beds yourself(hint: open the zippers on the sofa cushions, pillows &blankets inside). Not very clean, stains on bedding & walls. Ok for discount price.

Everything went fine, no reception, clean apartment, with fridge and large smart-TV. The couch wasn't very confortable, but the bed was. Wifi was slow.

Pros:The booking system is easy Cons: The room wasn’t cleaned properly, elevator was dirty and didn’t seem to work normally. Also there was this weird banging noise from somewhere in the property for a few hours in the morning

Very clean and spacious room. The check in is very easy, fast and straight forward. The window had a big sticker on it so it made the room darker. The entrance from the building and the elevator could be a bit more welcoming. Good price as well

Nice and central in Turku. More of a hostel than a hotel. Take a travel plug for the wash hand basin.

Exterior of entry very grubby and was not a good first impression. The first room we stayed in was basic but spacious. The second time we stayed the room was half the size and quite tacky. Check-in was later than most places and no way to easily contact anyone. Would not stay here again.

Everything was fine. It’s just that the4 pm check in time is a bit too late. That can be changed to the most acceptable check in time of 12:00pm
